Luna stayed silent as she watched the human girl. Then Jakken stepped onto her tail which was sticking out of the bushes a bit, and she yelped and started growling at him. She didn't bare her fangs as all she wanted was food. She then ran towards Rin, but didn't attack her. Instead, she took the food Rin was eating, stopped at the bushes, looked back at the girl, and ran off towards her den. No one knew this, but she was taking care of, not just herself, but twins. Their father was killed, so she was all they had left. Her den was made in a huge boulder. Her kind of wolf had claws and teeth stronger than stone, which made it easy to cut through it, and make dens within the rocks. Once she was inside the den, she ate her food after laying around her pups, who looked to be about two weeks old. She ate as she curled around them,protectively, somehow knowing that the girl from before might be after her.

Luna growled as Rin came closer to her den, but it was mostly because of Sesshomaru and the others being behind the child before she stood up. She went over to Rin, growling as her fur began to stick up like pointed rocks. Her pups were whimpering as they crawled around inside of the large den inside of the large, hollowed out boulder. She then growled at Shesshomaru, and the other's before she passed Rin, trying to protect the young girl. Rin reminded Luna of an owner she had once, who was also a young girl, but was killed by a demon. Ever since then, she didn't trust demons of any kind. She bared her fangs, as Rocks began to form in front of Luna and Rin. Only Luna could make them move out of the way. Once the rock wall was up, Luna gently nudged Rin into her den, and curled around her pups looking at the young girl sweetly, and in a motherly sort of way.

Luna listened to Rin's words, but wasn't so sure about Sesshomaru, Alina, and Jakken. She knew that she and her pups were demons, but she didn't want her pups hurt in any way. Especially not like she was as a pup. She was abandoned by her mother and father, and their pack had only one female that couldn't take care of her. So she was raised in a nearby village, by a young girl and her mother. But as time went by, the girl's mother became ill, and no one could help her get better. Then the young girl was killed by a demon trying to protect Luna a few years ago. Luna still bore the scar on her left eye, and was blind in it, so it was easy to see why she didn't trust other demons, but she knew that she couldn't keep Rin here forever. Luna knew it wasn't right. She sighed and lowered the rocks reluctantly. Curling around her pups defensively, as she lay there with Rin next to her before placing her head in Rin's lap, and giving her hand a gentle, and affectionate, nudge. Luna just wanted her pups safe, but knew that hunters were nearby. They could easily be taken from her in this state she was in. She was still recovering from the last fight she had with another Rock wolf, who tried to move in on her territory. Luna got the other rock wolf to leave, but sustained a lot of damage and a little blood loss, which the wound was already healed over. She did have a small limp though.

Luna curled up around her pups as Alina came up to her before hearing the sincerity in the demon woman's voice. She let her guard down hearing Rin asking if Luna and her pups could come with them. Of course she could hear Jakken protesting, at which she just rolled her eyes at him, thinking he was not at all as smart and wise as he seemed.

Luna let Alina pet her, before she let them pick up her pups. As long as they were gentle she wouldn't mind them being held. As she walked next to Rin, she had a small limp in her walk from an injury on her leg that was still healing. After they made it to the campsite, she lay down around her young ones, next to Rin while laying her head in Rin's lap. Luna really liked Rin, but knew the dangers of this forest better than anyone. She'd lived in this forest for a while now, and knew where not to go. She knew where the safe spots were, and in what area each of the creatures lived in. She knew it would come in handy if her new friends were to make it out of the forest alive, especially Rin. She knew that the young girl wasn't immortal and needed protecting. She wasn't as worried about Sesshomaru, Alina, or Jakken, as she could sense they were not human.

Luna flinched a bit as Alina placed a hand on her leg out of habit but didn't try to bite the demoness. She lay still, and relaxed her leg as instructed keeping her head in Rin's lap, while her pups were sound asleep against their mother. Luna curled her tail around them to keep them warm as it was a semi-cold night. Her thick fur would keep her warm, but her pups' fur wasn't so thick just yet. It wouldn't be until they would get a bit bigger. Not much was known about Luna's kind of demon animal, just that they usually lived in packs hidden away in the mountains, and were like normal wolves in the way of mates. Luna's mate died protecting her while she was pregnant. She barely made it out alive from that demon, called Inuyasha. Her mate had stolen some food and Inuyasha followed and tried to kill both Ace, Luna's mate, and Luna herself. She kept herself hidden until now scared for their pups' lives as well as her own. After Rin had fallen asleep and her pups were inside of a sleeping bag with Alina, Luna got up and went over to Sesshomaru, wondering why he let her come with her, instead of doing what that half demon did to her mate.

Luna let Sesshomaru pet her head after she leaned into his hand that he held out. She then sat next to him. She liked how gentle he was being, despite her having stolen food from Rin before they actually met. Then again, Luna was only trying to provide for herself and her family, so she assumed they understood.
