Kaimi turned to glance in the way of the one that called out his name, his eyes going wide before he rushed forward, using his best dolphin kick to cover the distance between the two of them. Giving a happy sound in his throat he said, "Ah! Ikaika!" He said, reaching his arms out so that he could wrap them around his friend, giving him a tight hug before drawing back, "I'm good, very good in fact! The storm kicked up so many interesting things and I've been having great luck of late finding things with pretty gems in them!" He had a few of them in raw form and a couple in different jewelry in his pockets at the moment in fact due to his great luck today.
The young Menehune had zero idea why that was or that he had an earth based magical gift that allowed him to find gems. He just saw it as luck and a blessing from Uukai for certain! He gave a smile and asked, "What about you? How are you doing? What brings you here?" He was pretty curious what his friend was up to, finding that he could take a little break from salvage if it meant talking to someone that he liked.
