The tall outer walls of the capital are always a wonder to see. Guards stand in all corners, watching out for invaders and the Shadow. They are the first line of defense in the kingdom and are thoroughly respected for their services. Sometimes, a few townspeople climb the many staircases to bring them a bit of food and wine, specially in the cold nights, when the high walls become windy and icy.
