Sara rolled her eyes; it wasn't often that the news she found on TV was at-all ground-breaking, but to have a genuinely entertaining show interrupted so a newscast could spew their nonsense? Her thoughts were silenced, however when she saw Lumiose City doused in dark purple mist - and she knew right then, this was at least in part meant for her to know. "Geez..." She mused. "They don't pull their punches, do they?"
In a groundbreaking move, a group of military units swept through Lumiose City and appeared to have taken the city by storm! Suspicions are roused linking this activity to the actions of the sinister Team Void, but at this time no confirmations have been made. We advise steering clear of the city for your own safety, and to those of you viewing from Lumiose City, if you have any information, please let us know.
Sara furrowed her brow. She wasn't in the loop on too many of the higher-ups' plans, and she frankly preferred it that way, but it sounded like their big offensive, which in turn meant she was bound to be called in soon. On that note, she checked her cell phone and rolled her eyes; nothing yet, but she figured it was high time to put on her earpiece and see if she could pick up any radio chatter. She wasn't too far from the city anyway. Still, nothing of interest. Better to wait for the call, she thought with a shrug.
Luna, sitting there beside her, was bristling. With a small sigh, Sara ran her hand along Luna's neck and back, smoothing out the bristles. "Yeah, I know, you don't like them." She offered. "They're not all bad though. And you've gotta admit, anything's better than the Callous League." She joked, personally harboring more doubts for the current recognized authorities and their tendency towards cold shoulders.
For the time being, though, it was back to her show, just now with the added wait for the call.
