I am sure I don't need to say this to you all, but I will anyway because I feel it is necessary.
If someone spreads bad rumors about a friend of yours, try to ask for your friend's side of the story before believing that the rumor is a fact. Rumors are statements created by one person. Possibly a stranger or from a friend. You never know.
I say all this because many people tend to believe rumors/gossip as facts. but if it's a bad rumor towards someone you know that you do not dislike, please try to ask for their side of the story before jumping to any conclusions. Chances are the rumors could be made up and not accurate or valid at all. Your friend's side of the story could be right.
