⌘Name: Amelia Dumont
⌘Age: 25
⌘Birth Date: April 21st
⌘Gender: Female
⌘Height: 5ft. 5in.
⌘Weight: 140lbs.
⌘Eye Color: Indigo
⌘Hair Color: Blonde
⌘Deformities: none
⌘Usual Wear: Amelia can almost always be found dressed in her uniform. She wears two sections of her hair up in small buns which are held in place with golden ornaments. Her dark blue coat has puffed sleeves and flared red cuffs, lined with gold accents and fastened asymmetrically across the waist with two miniature black belts. The shirt underneath is a crisp white button-down piece that with frilled sleeves that extend out past the cuffs of her jacket, overlayed with a finely pressed black tie. Her bottom wear is a medium-length mullet skirt, and her shoes are thigh-high black boots with invisible zippers on the backs. Pinned to her coat is a silver brooch in the shape of a Talonflame; accompanying this accessory are two black clips on her shirt collar and a golden cord connected from the epaulette to the edge of her coat collar.
⌘Years of Training with Pokemon: 15
⌘Occupation: Head of Team Void Undercover Operations
⌘Personality: A little high-strung, Amelia finds it hard to relax in day to day life at Team Void HQ. She has to constantly keep her head down to avoid suspicion and also stay cool under pressure from her peers and superiors. Her job as it is stresses her out, but it doesn't help when others butt into her business and mess with her affairs. The worst part is when those in command make sudden changes to any aforementioned plans, therefore increasing her workload to anxiety-inducing levels. Amelia has only ever visited the break room twice, because any other time, she's either pulling all-nighters, training her Pokemon team, or getting what little sleep she can. Her tensions with others in the workplace run high if she finds them slacking off, or pushing all their work onto her while they go off and do almost anything counter-productive. During these times she feels under-appreciated and like she can't let out any of her aggression without getting fired for it. She finds her job resentful at times, but keeps in mind that it's the reason she isn't dead yet, nor are her Pokemon.

⌘Family: Unnamed mother and father (both deceased)
⌘Friends: Her "Nindelure." ...Does paperwork count as a friend?
⌘Enemies: None. Yet.
⌘Romantic Interest(s): None
⌘Life Story: Amelia doesn't remember much about her childhood or how she grew up. She just remembers her mother was an alcoholic, and her father gambled away, only for her to throw their winnings away on clothes and wine. She didn't get much attention from her parents at the time, and instead redirected her interest to reading books rather than building bonds with her family members, knowing they didn't care about anyone unless there was an opportunity to make money. Amelia could take a book and read it cover to cover in a couple hours, days if it were a lengthy novel. She became fascinated with the memoirs of history's greatest inventors and discoveries, from the invention of the Pokeball to encounters with the Kami Trio and further on. She wanted to learn so much about the world, meet Pokemon and connect with them based on how amazing they sounded in her stories.
Unfortunately for her, her fantasies only existed on paper.
When Amelia was old enough to explore a bit of Kalos on her own, she had a fateful encounter in Connecting Cave with a horde of Zubat. She got scared, threw a rock, and suddenly they swooped down on her. Despite making it out with minor cuts and scrapes, she became something like the books she read—spineless. From then on, Amelia had an irrational fear that any Pokemon she came across would gang up on her if she didn't have something to defend herself with. During her further travels, a passing trainer recommended if she didn't want to face that fear, there was a better option—the Friend Safari. She grew curious about such a thing and hitched a ride to Kiloude City where it was located. Lo and behold, she got lucky and found she was in the midst of Fire-type Pokemon, most of which didn't come in crowds. After some rigorous searching, she found an unusual Pokemon lurking in the grass with narrowed red eyes staring at her. She panicked, and with the aide of some berries decided to try and coax it. It came closer, and she managed to catch it once it came within range...after about seven tries. The Pokemon was a wily thing and almost refused to travel with her, but complied once it realized how pathetic she was in the face of battle. Finally, Amelia had her first Pokemon—a majestic Ninetales that turned out a little on the short side.
She grew excited and desired to show her parents, who at the time doubted she could accomplish the effort it took to become a Pokemon trainer. When she returned, however, she found a surprise waiting for her. Her parents were scrambling about the house trying to pack their things, practically tossing every wine bottle and dollar they had into their suitcases. Amelia didn't have time to ask what was happening before a sharp series of knocks hit the front door, and she chose to hide in the closet. Men came into the house carrying guns, demanding the presence of "Mr. Dumont." They explained to his wife that her husband dove quite deep into the gambling world to the point he owed a catastrophic amount of debt—specifically to Team Void and their boss. Either he paid the money upfront or the two of them would be forced to suffer the consequences. Feigning their compliance, the two attempted an escape only to get shot down moments later. The house was set ablaze; had it not been for Amelia's Ninetales, the two would've surely perished that day. Unfortunately, fate had different plans rather than allowing them to live free. They were caught outside by the same men who concluded her to be the sole survivor of the Dumont family, and thus the debt fell on her. She begged for them to spare her, promising she would work to do everything she could to pay it off. They agreed and took her in shortly after.
Her entry to Team Void was brutal. To pay off her father's debts, Amelia had to learn how to fend for herself, and that meant constant Environmental Survival Training as well as physical labor. Seeing her Ninetales had potential, one of the higher-ups ordered it to be confiscated for an experiment, something they claimed would "put it to good use." She didn't get to say goodbye, but days later it was returned to her in a different form entirely. The scientists explained she would get to keep her Ninetales, but it had been physically and mentally enhanced to resist powerful Pokemon of types such as Fighting and Psychic. It was no wonder how; they fused it with a Chandelure of all things. Amelia was horrified, devastated even, but it seemed her Ninetales still existed within its new form—just with some extra company. The two seemed to take on a stronger bond than when she started out as a trainer, and worked their hardest to make themselves forces to be reckoned with.
That aside, she still had debts to pay off. Amelia did what she could to earn her pay's worth, including training alongside various grunts and learning more in-depth information about the fields Team Void worked in to accomplish their long term goal. Essentially, if it meant she'd earn money off her debt, she'd do the job. This included anything from cooking to paperwork—mostly paperwork—but there was one mission in particular where she posed as a normal Pokemon Center nurse and lured several others' Pokemon into a trap, casting them to the Void to probably never be seen again. Nonetheless, she was rewarded and found herself doing the same job more than often. During her time off, Amelia still worked hard, training her fusion to take a hit and keep running while also hitting the ground running herself. She had to filter through stacks of paperwork required for undercover mission confirmations and approval for retrieval, confirming which Pokemon had been captured and which were failures in "the experiments" as a result. She wasn't the biggest fan at first, but the paperwork was such a menial task it became almost methodic, much like reading the novels she remembered from her youth. It became almost a hobby rather than a job, and she found herself doing it more often than naught. Nowadays whenever Amelia isn't being put through conditioning, she's either reading something or getting some sleep, no matter how little.
