Well...s**t. I was really looking forward to a possible little reunion. After telling us that the summer event was going to be big, and Cindy saying that Diedrich was going to reveal the location of it...Now we get these slime bastards in a re-skinned Easter Egg hunt. Why didn't they just say it wasn't happening?
I couldn't wait to see all the wacky stuff we'd have to do this year. Now instead...My first RO was my last.
If any of you guys are still out there, mourn with me. crying

I want to punch these slimes so hard that the RO happens. Except I'm boycotting this event.

I guess it makes sense what with how much of the staff left or were let go... but damn, nothing? Being excited for the ROs has been the only reason I even log in anymore gonk

So this event is ending on the 12th...That's only 8 1/2 days; far less time than we usually get to complete a "big" event. But then, we had two mini events beforehand that lasted several days.
A reskinned Valentine's Day event, a forum dice roller, and a reskinned egg hunt/recycling event really doesn't scream "big" to me. Is it possible that the RO is the finale?Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Okay. Guess the event is over...Big ol heaping bowl of NOTHING.
So can we just talk about how an event that only happens once every 4 years was canned in favor of a reskinned mini event just so they could pull old characters needlessly back into the spotlight?
Because I'm pretty mad about that tbh fam. It could have easily been a September mini event instead. HELL. They could have had it in place of both They Return and that ridiculous, pointless, and prizeless PGO mini event. That way we could have both foreshadowing to later happenings and have town recolors just before the RO took place. But no.
Hey, at least we have more Durem stuff...that we probably won't be able to use in 2020 either because it'll get cancelled AGAIN. crying

Today they had the gall to make a Cash Shop announcement with a blurb about some town team battle going on...Except not really, they're just advertising town color scheme items. I thought maybe I missed an announcement, so I went to the forums page. The only Olympic related thing on HT was the real life Olympics. :T
Gaia, if you could stop reminding us of what will never come, that would be great. crying
