From nearly nowhere at all, a brief flash of energy heralded the sudden arrival of Kristina, her discolored Gardevoir there at her side. Quivering slightly from the abrupt shift, the girl took a step back and found a seat at a bench, looking out towards Lumiose with a quiet frown. Sylvera floated over to her and stood nearby, looking just as contemplative, and yet there was a gentle remorse in her face, as though she had somehow failed.
Not at all about to suspect otherwise, Kristina looked up to her friend and shook her head. "We did everything we could, Sylvera." She breathed. "You have nothing to be ashamed of. If anything, it's me... I don't get it. This isn't like things were back home, where you could just battle your way out of things like this. It's... worse, and people are taking it worse. What good are any of us if we come down to their level just to stop them?"
Sylvera said nothing, merely laid a hand on Kristina's shoulder before staring her square in the eyes, a gentle yet stern concern in her gaze. "We'll find a way, right?" Kristina guessed, breathing just a touch easier. When Sylvera nodded, she managed to relax some as well. "Plus, I know I'm not alone. I think we've got a chance, if we can find some other people to help... hopefully people who aren't so extreme." She winced, leaning back in her seat and rethinking over the events of the last several hours.
Eventually, a thought occurred to her, and in a moment she stood and gave her Gardevoir a long hug, being careful not to press against her emotional sensor. "I'm glad you're here with me, Sylvera." She breathed at last. "I don't know what I'd do without you."
