Username: SwordOfTheDarkOnes His name: Rakesh Tell me about his new home: The tundra, an icy wasteland that he roamed alone. He was the master of his small little hunting ground. Eyes cold as he surveyed his home he was restless. Everything was always the same...the icy wasteland. The arctic mice blended in for the most part...save for those times that the male spotted a shadow and stalked it outta sheer bordem. He felt like he needed a change, no...he wanted a change. So one day he decided to just run. Run till he felt like he couldn't anymore and then try to strike out on his own. So he did...he ran.
And ran. He felt sand on his fur and still ran. He felt rain pelt him and he still ran. He stopped every so often to cool off and calm down. Then he would look around. He saw deserts...he saw a rain forest, but he still didn't feel like he was there yet. He stood again to run. Finally he came to a stop when he saw a village...he knew he was close. He could feel it. As he padded into the village he saw others like him. He walked all the way through to the other side. Sitting on a cliff as he watched the sun set. Cliffs were new. He liked the feeling here. He smiled, tail flickering. Now he was finally home...he knew it would be tough, but he could do it...

Username: vampireluver123 His name: Zulu Tell me about his new home:Zulu sighed and looked out over the mountain he controlled. He loved his mountain and domain but he wished there were more people here. He wanted to be able to make some sort of friend. This place was amazing but it was lonely. Why rule over everything when there was no one to share it with? He walked to the edge of the ridge and looked out at the breath taking views. He couldn't get enough of this and it was even better during sunrise and sunset. He would sit out here and watch the world become awash in the most stunning colors. He purred softly as he thought about it his tail curling happily. He stretched and looked around. It was time to find someone to share all this with. Some friend he could talk to and bounce ideas off of. He had taken this mountain as his a long time ago and didn't regret it for a moment. This was his home and he didn't want to give it up but he wanted friends. People to work with and be able to help. This territory was very plentiful when you knew where to look. There were deer but he wouldn't be able to finish one by himself. He stuck to the smaller game, which wasn't as much fun to hunt.
He wanted to chase something down and prove he was the king but he wouldn't do that if it would be wasteful. He sighed and shook himself. He had made the decision to leave now all he had to do was actually follow through on it. He didn't want to leave his home for any length of time but it was necessary. He hadn't left this place since he had claimed it. The fresh crisp air was amazing and so clean. He loved the wind in the night and watching the snow coat everything. And all he wanted was a friend to show all these wonders to. He had tried once to make friends with a rabbit but that had gone horribly wrong. It had been so afraid he thought it would die so he had left. He wanted a friend who wouldn't be afraid of him and who would appreciate his skills. Someone he could go running with. They probably wouldn't be as fast as him but that would be ok. He could slow down for a friend who would run. Running up here was his other favorite thing to do. He could run forever and never be disturbed. And he could go extremely fast but not for too long.
He shook his head. He needed to stop stalling and procrastinating. He got up and stretched slowly. He would go down the mountain and run until he found people he wanted to get to know or who wanted to get to know him. He had made sure to eat a lot in the last few days to make sure he would have enough energy for a long journey. He was ready to go and make friends. His tail flicked around in excitement as he ran off. Off to see the world and make friends. He couldn't wait to see what else was out there. What other kinds of places. He wanted to see forests and sand and all sorts of new things. He ran down his mountain passing trails he had walked thousands of times before and places he knew by heart. He was off to places he knew nothing about and it was exhilarating. He ran at a steady speed he could keep up for a while but made sure to stop and drink water along the way and eat when he could. He lasted many things he knew nothing about. He tried to make friends with a few along the way but none seemed to want to or some he couldn't understand.
After a while he made it to a place with sand and saw those who looked like him but with different colors. He saw some who were bigger than him and fluffier. Some that were more compact and beamed. He had made it to somewhere knew with people he could befriend. He knew there were more than enough here for him to get to know and become friends with a few. He saw some he wanted to meet and talk to. There were a few who seemed like they would make really good friends. They seemed loyal and adventurous, which seemed perfect to him.

Username: Sesshiyasha His name: Naiero Tell me about his new home: Naiero couldn't remember where he had come from. His memory seemed to stop, he didn't quite know why. He had always felt that something was missing, and that he didn't belong anywhere. For days he wandered the lands looking for somewhere he could call home, or had called home. He looked at each place he passed and in his journey he eventually found a small forest. He walked through the forest, watching and listening for any sounds that there was anyone other than himself in the forest.
The only sounds that greeted him were the sounds of the forest. The normal sounds, he supposed, of the forest. It would seem he was alone. It was calming listening to the sounds of the forest, and it made it seem that whatever he had lost didn't seem to matter. It didn't matter that he couldn't remember who he was or where he came from. It was simply him and the forest.
He wandered deeper into the forest, searching for a place where he could build a home. This was when he found it. As he looked against the bank of the river, he spotted it on the other side. He smiled to himself. 'Why yes... that will do nicely!' was the thought that ran through his mind. He padded towards the river, he would need a safe way to cross, there was something in his mind that told him he needed to be wary of the power of the river. For a moment he looked puzzled and slightly pained as he tried to remember why that feeling crept up on him.
Alas it was not to be, he was left without an idea as to why he had just had that feeling. What he was left with was a headache. His eyes narrowed slightly at the light pain that was forming in his head. He shook his head lightly in an attempt to clear the pain from it. This did not ease the pain, but it wasn't so bad that he couldn't carry on.
He walked to the edge of the river and looked across once more, that was the best place, he wanted his home there. It called to him. He wasn't sure if anything had ever called to him like this before. He laughed at this, how was he supposed to know the truth of his words if he couldn't remember? It was something that he found ironic and funny. He looked to the water once more. It was currently shallow, it must not have rained for a while, this would have given the river a chance to shrink slightly, and for him to be able to cross safely.
Slowly and surely he put one firm foot in front of the other and padded his way through the water. The current wasn't strong and his footing held, until he was almost across. At this point, the rock he had chosen to step on turned out to be a mossy one. His eyes narrowed as he felt the cool slimy moss under his toes. His claws extended but didn't help. Down he went into the cool waters of the river. He floundered for a moment and managed to get his feet back under him. His breathing had quickened in the panic of the moment. He leapt from the foot hold he had found in the river. With a thud he landed on the other river bank.
His breathing heavy he laid there for a moment. "I just.... Need to.... Catch my breath...." were the heavy words that escaped his lips. His chest heaved in short breaths until he could get himself back under control. He glared back at the river. "I will devise something in order to cross you!!" was the growling reply he gave the river. He was now soaked, and cold thanks to the River.
Pulling his feet beneath him he slowly got back on them. He took a mental note as he did so to make sure nothing was injured or broken. He had let habit take over and stopped analyzing what he might have known previously. It did him no good currently.
He shook himself to pull the water from his fur. Once complete he was, for a short moment, a fluff ball, as he had made every hair stand straight. He took a step toward the place he had decided was perfect. and his hair smoothed back down into it's natural position. He looked at the great tree in front of him with a grin. This would be his new home. He could see it already. He would use this tree as a starting point and build his house.
He walked around the tree looking at the large trunk as he did. It had to be at least thirty feet in diameter. It was even hollow on the inside. If he created a door, and windows, he could easily create a home within it's walls. He looked up at the top of the great tree, and something tingled at the back of his mind.
Before he could realize it, he spoke to the tree, he let the words come as to what felt natural to him. "Great tree.... I ask this of you... Let me build a home within your roots and trunk, and I shall protect you and the forest... this is my knightly promise...." was the calm and revered reply. He watched the tops of the tree sway in the wind in if to answer his plea in kind. He closed his eyes and took in all of his surroundings. He let the quiet of the forest soothed him, the sounds of the other creatures of the forest gave it a sense of energy. The sound of the river was a reminder that not everything went as planned. Nothing seemed out of place, for once, it didn't seem like he was missing something. He Was Home.
This Knight, had found his new home... but what adventures await our young Knight?
