Nozomi was silent the whole way to Briar's room, she had never been to this part of the manor, her last master was a demon, so she was only ever in that hall. As they walked, Nozomi felt the magic energies around her, especially the dark ones, making her tails twitch. When they finally arrived to the room, she looked around, "It's very nice, I'll settle in just fine here," Nozomi cradled her naginata in her right arm and looked at Briar, "mistress, is something bothering you?"

"Lisette... that must have been whose dark aura I felt on the way here," she knelt before Briar, "there is no need for sorrow, mistress. I will do my best to avoid her, as well as learn everything you teach me, it's the least I can do. You have a bright aura about you, because of that, I'm willing to do as you say without question." Nozomi told Briar, giving her a small smile, hoping that she would find some comfort in her determination to learn.

Nodding her head, Nozomi replied, "Yes, I can sense and see all sorts of auras, along with different spiritual energies. The only thing is, I can't specifically tell who's is who's, unless I get a read on them while they're in front of me." Before being brought to Midnight, when she still lived in her village, the females that were selected to become shrine priestess were taught about the different spiritual energies, along with how they could be used to help others, as well as harm, but they were forbidden to use them in that way.

"Well, apart from being able to sense energies, I can also use them to heal injuries, as long as they're nothing major. Not only that, I can use them in combat, yet we were forbidden to use them in that way because, they could bounce back and cause serious damage. That was only if they were used to purposely harm someone, in self defense, it was fine." Nozomi explained to Briar.

Nozomi felt a little embarrassed, she had never received so much praise from her masters, so she didn't know how to react. "It's really nothing, your abilities are much more amazing than mine," her tails started wagging again, "but I would love to entrance my skills, even if I never reach your level. Honestly, you're the first to offer to teach me, most of my masters forbid me from using my abilities."

"It seems that there are still some good souls left in this world, that makes me happy, I'll help you with trying to change Lisette and her ways." Nozomi closed her eyes for a moment, focusing her mind, her tails fanning out behind her, as she did her best to read the dark aura. It was difficult without a direct presence, so she wasn't sure about what she felt, "I don't know, mistress, her darkness is strong. But if you feel that I could help change her, then there is much I have to learn, I'm ready when you are."

Nozomi nodded her head, the little bell hanging from her ear chiming softly, as she answered. "If it's as you described her, then yes, I felt her aura, it's coming from somewhere near the end of the next hall over. I'm going to assume that Lisette doesn't get out much, and if that's true, then yes, this would be our best chance." There was a bit of a risk in doing this, Nozomi remembered that the two witches didn't like each other, if they confronted one another, who knows what would happen then.
