His mother surely was rolling in her grave laughing. How many times had she told him to keep his nose clean and out of people's business? How many times had he heard from her the old line about curiosity and the cat? Itzy would say too many, but apparently the lessons never sank in. Until now. When it was too late. Or at least, that's what he assumed this kidnapping was about. Couldn't be a coincidence that he witnessed something and then was whisked away onto a boat. That's right. A boat. A ftothectotheing boat. As in, on water. As in, no escape unless he wanted to try swimming. Growling, Itzy paced the cabin, looking around desperately, he wasn't afraid to admit that, for something to defend himself with. If they expected a docile prisoner, the crew had another thing coming to them.

The bright green eyes that softly glowed from the shadows in mirth moved. Slow measured steps clicked on the wooden floor of the old style ship. Call him old fashioned, not many had a working wooden pirate ship like he did. Tapping his fingers on the table where his maps laid out on display the male picked up his koi fish sword. "Welcome." He purred out as he came into full view. The male was hired to capture and interrogate this male. Perhaps even make him vanish for good. He was allowed to make that choice. Then again, keeping the long haired male to himself for the rest of their lives seemed to be a good idea. He leaned against the table as he rested his sheathed sword on one leg. "So...looks like the little birdie saw something they weren't suppose to tweet about. I am Captian Teaugen. Welcome to The Nightshade."

And the bad luck just continued. The one weapon that would have done the most damage gets snatched up by the captain no less. Joy. Did what he know rank so important that it had to get him kidnapped and then talked to by someone like a captain? Itzy would have expected a jail and a lackey doing this part. He spat at the floor between them. “Save your welcome for someone who actually gives a ********. Like your fellow criminals. I don’t care who you are or what I’m on. You could be the Flying Dutchman for all I care. Either way, you’re going to end up in the same jail as the guy you’re protecting.”

Teaugan let out a slow breath through his nose, honestly why were all the cute ones so foul mouthed? He quirked an eyebrow at the other. "Crude language isn't nessacary little bird." he crossed his arms. He tilted his head. "As for the lowlife I'm... "protecting" ...its merely a associate of an acquaintance. I did them this favor that way I can gain access to waters I didn't before. Once my ships are clear in...I'm seizing control of the waters." He chuckled darkly as he heard one of his crew call out that they were nearing the waters. A dark glow to his eyes and he smirked demonically. "Fantastic...once I have these waters. That lowlife is mine...I have a vampire parent who'd enjoy draining them...as well as twin elder sisters who'd most likely help him..." he pushed off his desk looking to his pretty little bird. "Were you hungry?"

Whatever retort Itzy had about being able to say whatever he wanted died, as no doubt his breath, and himself, as he watched the change over his captor. He had to have died. He wasn't kidnapped. Nope. Not at all. He had been killed by the guy he had caught in a heinous act. The captain in front of him must be his guide to hell. Or, that was what he would like to believe. The now freaked out prisoner knew that there were creatures out there that weren't just the part of stories. Momma made sure he knew all that. And he was stuck on board with one of them. Could there be more? Could the whole crew be some sort of demonic creature? If the captain was part vampire, and part....whatever was making him look like that once he heard they were nearing his prize, surely the rest of the crew couldn't be normal either. Itzy licked his lips nervously, skin taking on a paler green tint to his dark skin. He was tempted to say no to the food. However, the small voice in the back of his head that was goading him into trying to escape nixed that idea. "I suppose so?" Better to eat. Gather strength to escape easier, hopefully. Stay on the captain's good side. Because if that was how the redhead was to people he didn't like, Itzy didn't want to be on that side. "But no need to bother with me. You have someone else to make absolutely miserable."

A deep rich chuckle was Itzy's reply. Teaugan leaned against the table for support. "Oh my little bird, no...I'm human..." he paused. "I think...at least the last I checked I was...I have three fathers. My biological parents aren't vampires. The third one is. He acts more like our Mother than any of them..always fretting." he smiled fondly as he tapped a frame where Teaugan was pictured with several others. He picked it up and set it in front of Itzy. "See...the one with the goggles...the shortest one in the picture...that's the vampire. Mama as I grew up calling him..." He hummed as he started to lay out dishes on the long table. Clearing away his maps as he did so. "Feel free to take what you want. The rest of the crew eat in the dining hall on the other side of the ship. By now they'll of eaten." he chuckled as a small chinchilla skittered along dangling ropes and landed on his shoulder. "Ahhh...Jolly there you are..." he stroked it under its chin.

Itzy barely glanced at the family photo. If that was the fiend's way of getting Itzy to drop his guard, it wasn't going to work. The prisoner didn't care about the other's family. No way was that act going to work on him. Nope. A normal guy with a loving family? Ha! Itzy doubted it. Just like he would not believe that the kidnapper didn't have a non-normal as a parent. How would that explain the demonic looking eyes? The story just wasn't adding up. But he wasn't going to say that. Couldn't piss off the guy, as much as he would love to do. Idly, Itzy twined some hair around his finger as he watched the food be put out. "I guess then I'm not to be near the crew? Would no doubt be kind of hard if you throw me in the brig. Important captain like yourself catering to the lowly prisoner? You have crewmen for that." Taking a plate, he started adding food to it, watching in some amusement at the small rodent. A pet named Jolly? "Do you have a parrot named Roger too?"

Teaugan looked at the other. "Just like everyone else..." he muttered as he sharply set the picture back where it was. He was proud of his family. As odd and mixed up as they were. He let out a breath through his nose as he glanced back. "The crew was aware you were a special case. I don't kill unnecessarily. If I wanted to kill you. I'd have tossed you to them." He got his own plate as he sat the furthest away from the other at the table. He glanced up to the fuzz ball. "No...I think my elder brother does. They were gifts from---" he stopped. They were gifts from Mousy, his inhuman Mama...but this guy wasn't interested in that. Slightly insulted the male merely pushed around a few things, allowing Jolly to take most of the food. He looked up as he heard the first cry of his firstmate calling out orders. He would let them handle this task. He wasn't up for it.

So he still managed to annoy his captor. Great. The dark male added more food to his plate. Looked like he was going to need more strength than gile. Something to make sure that he wouldn’t be sent to the crew. If they were the kind of crew that would kill for their captain. In his mind was flashing all sorts of possibilities on how they would kill them. None of them pleasant. “What are you going to do once you get these waters? Go off for others? Ruin other peoples’ lives?” Itzy stopped eating once he noticed the other not eating. It couldn’t be poisoned if the captain’s pet was eating the food. He was always taught that it was rude to eat when his table partner wasn’t. “What’s so special about the waters past these?”

Teaguen paused in feeding Jolly. Green eyes narrow as he looked at Izzy. "You assume because I am a pirate that I am nothing more than a monster on the seas. You assume because I said my Mama isn't human that I am inherently evil. You assume..." at this he slowly stands to lean towards the other. "..that because I took you. I mean to harm. You. Assume. Too, Much." the last words were hissed as he turned with a whirl of his hair to storm away. "I took you out of charity. There was others who were asked to take you as well. They would of raped you and had you singing like a songbird about what it is you know. I don't care for the information. I cared about your well being, believe it or not. I have no need to keep you, however. I keep you out of concern. Those others will take you as soon as I let you go. Me taking the waters, actually ensures that you live longer. If they think I favor you..." he walked slowly back to the other. Tilting his chin up. "They fear my Mama...they fear my Fathers...if they think I favor you. They'll leave you be until I say I grow tired of you..." he slowly trailed a hand down the other's neck. "I doubt I would...but your making it hard to have interest with blatant disrespect." He stepped back with a sigh as a small child dashed in. "Yes, Marlowe?" "Captain! We took half the port! First Mate Lithe wants to know if we should continue, or make them wait till dawn." the child's eyes were bright. Pure lavender. Though the small set of unnatural fangs made one rethink any thoughts of them being normal. Marlowe let out a giggle as Teaugen ruffled his spiky hair. "Make them wait it out...I want them to quiver when we finally take them over. Go on scoot!" he ushered the child back out. "Marlowe is a vampire like my Mama. He was orphaned on the tail end of a job that went wrong. I found the newborn in a basket labeled: For Payment." he walked back to his seat. "Though...you don't want to hear anything I say."
