I currently only have a dog, but I had two cats as well until they died in 2014 and 2015. My dog is a Nova Scotia duck toller (canadians whats up) and I taught her a new trick today.
these are my wonderful pets<3 i have 7 snakes and they are just the best. snakes are just so misunderstood. i wish more people would take the time to learn about snakes and not just go by judgement of what they see. snakes are so docile and sweet. they arent slimy but rather feel like leather sorta. i love my snakes. they make me so happy and really i find them easier to take of than a cat or dog or any other exotic pet.
Well I will start then...these are my chicks, well now full grown, and we've lost a few through this past winter!..sad I remember getting them when they were just little chicks like this, now my hens give us eggs, I don't know there's just something about chickens, find them interesting, we will be giving away about 3 of our roosters, for apparently they are bothering the neighbor....*how I despise her now, I shouldn't but she plays the hypocrite real well! evil just evil!* she thinks our chickens caused her a whole lot of flies! which is not true, seriously, maybe when we had our meat chickens, but these ones no! You should see they eat any insect they come across! i think the best part is watching my chickens run freely in our yard! they are so comical, see there's a high anarchy, from biggest to smallest, of course the males rule the roost! but we will keep 2 our biggest Chantecler Tarzan named this so because he sounds like him when he sings or chants ; and Puff Daddy our male silkie! this little silkie loves to show off, just the other day out back, he saw a little wild bird not far from him, my bf said, he puffed up looked at him and strutted over there slowly then sped up more rapidly, was funny! the characters they have lol! and i love them, I decided to seperate my little brownish silkie hen from the group, see one of our big maran rooster was mating her, and caused an inflation of the right side of her head, and now, well I feel sorry for her, wow how these things affect me...I know I'm so sentimental..heart

One of my cats, Elle, thinks she's my biggest dog's puppy. She will cuddle him, she's always trying to get into the dog treats (and sometimes succeeds) and she will sleep in his kennel while he's outside.

I've got a black rabbit who's 14 years old and people still think he's a baby (tiny little thing). He's a very calm presence.

My favorite animals are Dolphins and Horses. However, these are either expensive or hard to obtain. So, My next favorite and ultimately best companion is the canine. I have had dogs as pets all my life. From poodle, mut, labradore, schnauzer, yorkie, great dane mix, golden retriever, etc. Currently I have two wonderful yorkshire terriers. Father and Son combination. The funny thing is that the father is smaller than the son. Dante Donato Fyadore is the son. His name means "The love of the Lord Everlasting, never ceasing; God's gift; and gift from God." He is 100% all of that. The father's name is TAZZ. The name's meaning I don't know. But, as we usually do, the name makes him seem bigger, and tougher than he really is. Funny how we tend to do that.
I have a crabby cat named Blackles. He's crabby because he doesn't know what he wants. Every day he comes into my room and meows, and then he flops on the floor like a little drama queen. But when I get up to pet him, he runs off like a little butt. If I ignore him for too long, he gets even fussier and plants himself on my computer.
Blackles is also really dumb. I've had many cats before, but he's easily the dumbest. Here's an example. My first cat, Domino, taught himself how to open doors. Blackles watched him, and learned that he should reach up towards the knob...but then he stops. He just like, taps the door. Then he gives up and whines. Domino figured it out all by himself, Blackles got to learn by watching and he still can't do it.
He also has a problem understanding puzzles, even easy ones. Sometimes I put treats in a small, open glass jar and set them on the carpet. He sees the treats, and he wants to eat them, but he can't get them because they're in hte jar. So he pushes the jar lightly, near the bottom. Of course, it doesn't fall over because he has his foot at the base, not the top. But instead of trying, he gives up! I've demonstrated tapping the top myself, every time I give him the puzzle. I even knock it over and put it back, to give him an idea. He still can't do it. You know what he does instead? He tries to eat the treats. Through the glass. Because he can see them, but can't reach them.
I've tried several different sized jars, hoping one would be easier for him to knock over or get a paw into. He sniffs it, taps it, and then gives up every time. I know he likes those treats, he just can't figure it out! Once I saw him solve it by driving his head into the side of the jar. It wasn't how I would do it, but I suppose it works.
Once I took him for a tiny walk outside and he was scared of a man in a wheelchair. I know I shouldn't laugh...but it was pretty funny.I like to think it was because he couldn't reconcile the idea of a human on wheels.

She adopted me a year ago by walking in my house. Mimi was so skinny and she was a pet monster, because she wouldn't let me stop petting her for months...lol... We still call her our pet monster...^.^...But now she is happy, healthy and a huge part of our family.
"No more guinea pigs!" I tell my daughter. And then there's this one that's just so precious! And the other one NEEDS a friend, right?
"No more guinea pigs!" I tell her when one of them dies. But there's this one that needs a home because in her current home the others are bullies and the owner doesn't have enough cage space to separate her permanently. And her name is Sunshine! How can we resist?
"No more guinea pigs!" I tell her when Sunshine is the only one we have left. But this one needs a home, and Sunshine is SO lonely... Enter Shadowen, who it turns out is very sweet and cuddly (when she isn't growling at Sunshine - so much for needing a friend).
Well, this time for sure... no more guinea pigs!!!

Right now we have two cats at my house though I can say that either of them are really "Mine" Meesa is the newer of the two she's skiddish and barely out of kitten hood and Indigo is a grey fluff bag who is lazy and fearless They both like me though better than other people in the house *chuckles* I'm not really a cat person, I prefer bunnies *shruggs* The cat I would have considered "mine" died a few years ago. we buried him in the yard under the cherry tree... His name was Catfish, he had long whisker eyebrows he was a black and white tuxedo cat.
OuO i never knew hens could look like they have fur they are cute , i do not have any pets right now but i am saving up[ for a cat i would love a ragdoll or ragmuffin i used to own a Long Haired Tortoiseshell Persian called Wotsit she was called that because i were oneish and had not seen a cat before, so she was a wot's-it and when i turned 4 a con snack came out a bit like cheetos called wotsits , she was a very fat cat and was very friendly to mice..i had 2 gerbils called nutty and fruity and she sat on the cage lid...the lid caved in and wotsit sat on nutty..sadly nutty died from her lard a** but fruity survived up till a roof leak..
when wotsit died we got given one of her original litter from my niece called buttons, she was a semi feral persian ragamuffin cross was highly intelligent and loved eating grasshoppers would ask to come in, would open doors, was like a dog would walk with me to shops, she lived till 15 but had to be put down due to the fact she lost control of her bowels and back legs, suffered dementia and could no longer clean herself, she was in a lot of pain from this so after she went missing and was found by rspca they advised it was humane to put her to sleep than suffer i miss my baby girls so much t.t
so now i am ready for a cat i cannot find a place that is close enough X.X
