Positive and negative traits.
Nixie nervous: Arren is nervous around her own race, worried that they will judge her for leaving her home town.
Self-sacrificing: Arren will give to others even if it hurts her
Gentle: Arren is in no way a fighter, she would rather hide and let others hurt her, then to raise her fist to hurt them back.
Welcoming: Arren accepts pretty much every race daydreams and nightmares. Her only pet peeve has to do with one job tinkerers/mechanics. This feeling stems from an incident in which, Arren hired one to fix an expensive coffee maker and resulted in an explosion and a whole lot of clean up for Arren. Arren also thinks they are messy and good for very little.
Motherly: Arren loves taking care of others, she hopes to one day find that special someone and have kids of her own, but till that day she is content taking care of other people.
Out of the box- Arren has always thought out of the box, different from others of her kind. Which left her feeling rather alone as a child.
Defensive- Arren is very defensive of her choices in life, she doesn't let anyone push her around for her choice of leaving the sea and starting her cafe.
Arren is outgoing, she has always wanted to explore something more, since she was a young freshling. Working with the familiars her family raised gave her a strong desire to take care of others, but in her own way. Arren decided early on that she wanted to see more places in the bellow and help others. She has always been a peaceful, sweet being, gentle with the young familiars and freshlings in her area. Arren enjoys being helpful and taking care of others, but felt boxed in by her small community which was why she decided to ask her parents if she could attend the academy as a freshling. Many of the others in Arren's village were very stuck in their ways, whereas Arren likes looking at a problem upside down and backwards. Which often left her feeling a drift in a place that should have felt like home. She likes warm comfortable things like coffee and curling up with a good book. Arren also loves swimming and rock climbing.

Arren was born off the coast in the a shallow sea. Her family lived near a coral reef. Her parents raised her in the small village and Arren found life very dull. When Arren was about 9 years old she started wandering away from home. Going further and further, upsetting her parents greatly every time. Her parents worried she would get hurt or lost. Arren was never interested in the family business of rasing various familiars on the shore near their home.
Arren didn't feel like she fit in, so many were content to just live out their lives, in the seas, swamps and marshes, but Arren wanted more, so she asked her parents to send her to Asphodel Gardens Academy. They were both sad to see her go, but Arren wanted more out of her life that the sea. So she started living in the dorm, and using a lot of skin care products to keep her skin from drying out. Once she passed her freshling classes, Arren moved on to her junior classes. It wasn't till junior year that she realized she wanted to learn to run her own business and open a cafe when she grew up. The new people she met gave her the spark, she figured out she liked taking care of other people.
She thought of the freshling she met her junior year she met a little imp, they had mud on their face and they were crying. Arren frowned she didn't understand what was wrong with the little guy, but she couldn't leave them like this. So Arren went over to them and said "Hey little guy what's wrong??" The little freshling balled in tears that they had lost their vespercat and then fallen in the mud. Arren couldn't help herself, she had to help the little imp get cleaned up and to find their familiar. She was just driven to give to others, even if it took away from time for herself.
Cooking for them and serving them drinks made Arren happy. So after senior year Arren decided to apply for Asterion university, where she got her degree in business.
There weren't many orphans in Arren's village, but when she moved to live in the dorm, she met many freshlings who had never had moms and dads. Her heart went out to each and every one of them, she would often make cookies for the orphanage to give to the freshlings that hadn't found homes yet. She wanted to ask the caretakers if she could run a bake sale met and greet, to see if it would be possible to help more of these freshlings find moms and dads.
Arren attended Eldritch freshling and junior year. Junior years she took trade as her elective twice. She also took some extra gym classes and swimming for the fun of it. During Arren's junior year she took life skills where she met a teacher she dearly loved, who helped her with the cookies she wanted to make for the orphans, that was when she decided cooking and giving to others was what she wanted to do with her life. Arren dreamed of one-day holding speicals were the proceeds would go to helping the orphan freshlings would find parents.
Arren loves being active when she isn't busy with work or studying. Senior year she took more trade classes and cooking classes. Lining up what she wanted to get ready for when she went to the university. She figured out then that she need to go to both Grendel and Asterion since she wanted to learn to run her own business and cook the dishes she wanted to sell. Arren split her classes equally at the two universities to get her degree in business and cooking.
During her junior and senior year Arren got a part time job working at a cafe, she meet many diffrent beings there, which helped her become more comfortable and feel like she fit in with others. Arren was always polite to other nixies, but she still hadn't felt like she wanted to let any of them close to her heart.

Prompt Two
Arren frowned when she noticed the beautifully made Fennekit plushie, the fabric looked expensive and the stitching looked like it was hand made. It had to have been an accident that this beautiful pink, purple and blue plushie had been left outfit. Arren picked up the plushie and held it close to her chest. She had to find the owner so she could give the plushie back to them, she took the plushie back to her house to take pictures of it and to make flyers. She never felt put out helping others, in fact it was a big driving part of who she was. She thought of so many other days she had done something similar, so it was no big deal to her, even if it might make her late for a date or something. Arren would rather cancel a date with a cute guy or girl, then sit at a fancy dinner thinking about someone else being sad.
Then she put the plushie somewhere safe in her house, while she made up flyers of the plushie to put out so she would be able to find the freshling who had lost the dear fennekit plushie. Arren finally got a call she then made plans to meet up with a little elf who was still dressed as a fennekit from the hollows eve festival, their were tears in the little females eyes when she saw her treasure that she had dropped. Arren felt sad that the treasure had been lost and felt like she had to find the owner.
Arren's heart filled up so much, she wanted to have freshlings some day. Arren gave the plushie back to the little elf, then watched the little girl run off with her plushie friend. She shook her head, then headed back to cafe, other things to do. Arren's meeting with the little freshling was far from her first time helping others, she had been late for work many times because she stopped to get a vespercat out of a tree or stopped to help a little freshling in need. Arren felt warm in hear heart when she helped others in little and big ways.

"I agree to your terms then." With the two she wanted most gone now, she decided that she would look for a guard now, instead of a companion-like figure. She took once last glance at the two and noticed that Mao seemed to be just as confused about what he wanted as her, even though there wasn't any time left to reconsider the choices. Sending the two one last apologetic smile, since it was her that left them in the first place, she waved a good bye and walked back down the aisle, a small frown on her face. [/align][/color][/size]
