Dragonshards: Two crystals embedded into the back of her hands which, by utilizing her aura, ignite the oxygen around whatever she contacts when striking. She can also utilize this ability to launch spheres of aura ignited flames up to 50 feet, however they are without the additional force of the punch itself though they do travel as an incredible velocity.

Draconic Heraldry
The semblance grants her heightened strength and durability, allowing her to withstand typical firearms without being injured and able to punch through reinforced steel. While this ability of hers is a passive one, she can amplify her power further by entering an “enraged” state in which her aura becomes visible. Whilst “enraged” she is capable of breathing massive bursts of flame, what’s more her strength and durability increases tenfold, however it rapidly burns away her aura in the process. If she were to allow it to continue for too long it could be fatal, what's more after leaving the enraged state she will lose all effects of Draconic Heraldry for an entire day leaving her as the vulnerable as one would expect of an elderly woman.
Sister to the Flame
Her aura is fire aligned thus rendering her immune to fire though; what's more she's capable of rebirth through flame. If she were to incur a fatal strike, her body will instantly burst into an all-consuming fire. When the flames dissipate she will have healed completely and returned to the state she'd awoken that very day.
This ability has several weaknesses however. Firstly, if she were to be ill or injured from the start of the day she will be “reborn” just as she was regardless if she'd been healed by the time she'd died. Secondly, Sister to the Flame may only trigger once within a month’s time. Thirdly, this will not save her from ravages of aging nor will it save her from a fatal dose of poisoning or the like.

Gwendolyn Pern is a retired huntress, having been praised for her tremendous power and tenacity in battle along with her very distinct manner in which she conducted herself. During her prime very few people as physically powerful as she, though she'd never appeared as such given her rather diminutive stature. Her most well known feat of strength which lent to her fame was when she toppled a Goliath on her own merely because she refused to move out of it's way as it stampeded towards her. Once she'd graduated from the academy she traveled country to country acting as huntress for hire before settling back down again for a time in rural countryside village.
It wasn't until she'd reached her 50's when she'd decided to officially retire from being a huntress. Returning to her hometown of Vale and using her amassed wealth to purchase a building and start an orphanage. However from time to time she has taken it upon herself to step out of retirement for a time when she deemed it necessary. Such as when she'd eradicated a sect of White Fang supporters who'd attempted to take her children away roughly ten years prior which had led to one of her children's throats being lacerated horribly by a grim. If she hadn't already despised the White Fang enough, this act would gain the White Fang and any supporters therein her ire. Even through retirement her presence was known by many, though her name had faded into obscurity by the youngest generation of hunters and huntresses, those who dealt in the dark dealings of the city knew well of whom to avoid.
