To get to the grounds you have to go a little ways into the forest, once you come to the arching trees you pass through them and enter the enclosed area. Somewhat big in size, there is grass and it is well lit on even the gloomiest of days.

Gato smiled as he entered the area. "Inumma is just misunderstood. He likes things done the way they are supposed to be and without little hesitation." he nodded as he pulled off his wet coat/cape thing and threw it aside. "The one good thing is that it remains dry here now matter how rainy it is outside." Gato looked around and noticed neither Aya nor Saori were here yet, "Um...well once the two girls get here. We shall start."

Gato smiled at all of his students, "John. I do not think so, I honestly don't mind if people talk," he paused, he liked peaceful words, "crap...about me." Gato sat on the ground across from Aya. "Okay. John, Saori, please sit." he made a motion for them to sit and then began talking again. "You three are all now gennins, and that is a lot of responsibilty. I take full honor in being assigned your teacher, for our first task. You shall introduce yourselves to each other, give your name and hobbies and anything else you might want us to know. Once you have all gone, I will reveal stuff about myself as well." Gato smiled, he loved doing this to students, make himself seem earthy and nice but really be a fun and exciting, making them do unthinkable things. "So, who would like to start??"

Gato smiled and nodded. "A most admirable spirit you have." He thought for a few moments, "Let me guess. You want to be the next Hokage, don't you?" He laughed to himself, "I belive you would do well with that. But first, we have to do missions and other sorts of things before you even come close to Hokage." Gato turned his attention to the two girls, "And which of you will go next? That is, unless John wants to contiue."

Saori watched John once again; lie down on the soft grass to nap. She herself sat down on the grass as well next to Taicho (Gato). She thought that he was a rather open person and cheery too. She was glad that he was not as perky as Aya... there IS such a thing as too much of a good thing.

"I'll go next," she said for Aya hadn't reacted in any way, "My name is Saori Lung. I've been in Mizu village for only four years learning the basics of ninjutsu. I wasn't born here though... my real home is some place far away. I was brought here by my obaasan when I was ten and was raised by my ojiisan. He runs a small restaurant in the village. I specialize in Ryu family sword and staff style."

Saori felt better saying these things. From the first day she met Aya, she wanted to blurt everything to her like a normal, psychotic teenager but her nature held her back. She was glad she didn't though. It might have ended up differently. The thought of her grandmother reminded her of her flute which were neatly slotted on her belt next to her folded up staff. She fingered it as memories rushed in her mind. Flashbacks were happening frequently to her nowadays.

Aya looked up at him, her neon blue eyes staring him down. She didn't want to talk about her past, but it was obvious Gato was going to make her. Letting out a sigh she began, "I am Aya. My last name is a secret. I've been in Mizu my whole life," she looked at down at the ground upset. "My parents died when I was very little. I have no other family at all, at least not to my knowledge." she paused. "Well I do have a sister, but I don't know where she is or what she is doing. I don't even know what her name is anymore...she left two days after I was born." Aya pulled her head band down over both of her eyes and buried herself into her knees.
