Located in what could almost be considered a Caribbean paradise, the house on stilts sits only a short walk from the beach while securely surrounded by lush tropical trees. Given it does seem to be strange location for a creature that is somewhat fiery in nature, it suits Artemis quite well. The secluded, almost private nature of the estate he lives in gives him the secrecy he so desires. Artemis can take a more human form if need-be, but hiding so much of his dragon features is hard, so living away from prying eyes is handy. Not to mention the safety of his land is vital for bringing up a young dragon child.
The house is fairly open in planning; sleeping quarters on one end, eating and living on the other. With all the large windows, you get the most amazing view of the sun setting over the ocean beyond, while down in the garden you can watch the sun rise over the house and the tropical forest surrounding the secluded hideaway.
