So I have been trying to decide on the genre of the particular
role play that I had in mind. Since it will be a group I wanted
input from other group members as well. The main genres I
have in mind are:

Mafia: two-three groups - two being old money, one being up
rising or new money - they're all duking it out, you know beef
and what not

Pirates: kill me later but pirate role plays tend to be pretty lit
when people are posting haha. With these things it's not limited
to just one place or one scenario. It's pirates! They land, they
sail, they recruit, do whatever.

Final Fantasy (tactics): if you have never played this game all
you need to know are: races and classes. So certain races have
certain jobs or class systems. The idea is to protect the world or
destroy it. It's not a real world, it's been fabricated from the minds
of those who resent the real world and their resentment has been
stored into crystals that keep the world whole.
