☆ ★ Tori's riverside home and ranch. ☆ ★

The kitchen, all four bedrooms are the same (though two are upstairs) as designed by the Indian himself. There are two identical and rustic bathrooms, one on either floor of the home. Followed by the main dining area. Lastly the lounge and far right crafting room.

Ah yes of course; that was exactly why he chose a train in the first place. So he wasnt thrown out of a plane at fifteen-hundred feet. Tori wasnt a flier and he certainly didnt want to learn how to break a fall without a parachute without having an instructor bound to his back. Skydiving was not on his bucket list. However, with the eight-hour train ride, the Indian and Kasia arrived to his Texas home, and once there, he would remove the leash in favor of dragging her around by the hand. "Come, I will bring you inside before I allow you to eat." Of course, this was out of manners than anything else, directing the Vampire in to sit on the living room couch, the leather was real and had just been polished before his adventure to the Hotel.

Of course asking if she wanted something to drink was ridiculous-- he knew the answer right away. "Now, I will make you this deal. You may feed from me when you desire to do so, but on the other hand, you must remain here and atleast give an effort into being friends." And how he knew this would work? Apparently in the book he was reading on the way back home, Tori discovered that in darker skinned humans, the blood was much more valued; that or this novel was a load of crap. Either way, their blood was thick and sweet, satisfying if there was no sense of fear lingering within the host. A good plus for Yiska indeed. Perhaps Kasia would enjoy it enough to stick around? Probably not, but worth a shot.

Kasia was sullen and silent the entire train ride. Sure, the scenery was nice, so she could at least enjoy that much. She pointedly ignored the human the entire way, arms crossed, stubbornly looking out the window. It seemed likely that she wouldn't say a word while the leash was on her - what was the point? Pets didn't talk, she said to herself in her head, snidely as she ever was. It gave her time to think things over anyway, and relish the feeling of being somewhere other than that damned boring room. The only thing it had going for it was the television, since it kept her from completely insanity. It was a wonder she wasn't insane from age already, plenty of vampires went a bit bonkers after a while. Well, maybe she was, but no one had ever accused her of being anymore more than cranky.

His house - estate? - was very nice indeed and had her looking around. She was too curious to even object to him dragging her around by the hand, mostly because he'd taken off the damn leash. The collar was still on, no surprise there, she didn't think that he would be dumb enough to remove it. Taking a seat, the vampiress raised an eyebrow at his deal. So...she'd have her own personal dinner walking around and she had to...be friends? Really? That was what he wanted? A bit unbelieving at this, she simply peered at him for a few minutes, scrutinizing him with all the patience of someone old enough to have learned it. His house was nice, she'd get actual warm blood again...hm. "Sure, we'll try it," Kasia finally said with a shrug of acceptance.

The moments of silence passed and Tori figured she was ignoring him for what he had done the entire train ride. And although he had fallen asleep, the Indian woke to see Kasia still there. Well. Apparently he had made some kind of connection and was very pleased to hear her agree. "Alright then. If you vanish, of course I wont be able to feed you and you will be back to the streets to fend for yourself." As harsh as it was, Yiska knew it was only the truth.

Sure Kasia could handle herself, but he was hoping his blood was more than enough to keep her coming back. "I dont want to revoke that promise, I can and will prevent you from feeding." Tori warned, the Indian pulling that thick pink hair from around his neck, settling it to hang on one side. He stood in silence, waiting- his face unreadable though fear was clearly absent.

How he thought he could prevent her - that was funny. But she didn't bother to argue that. She hadn't been lying when she said that she preferred willing donors and he seemed more than happy to volunteer. Watching intently as he pulled his hair aside, clearly in hunting mode even when she didn't have to stalk her prey - it was instinctual by now - Kasia's eyes narrowed. Not out of anger, but hunger. Calculation, how much she could take without draining him, etc. It all took but a heartbeat for the experienced vampiress and she smiled, fangs flashing again. They always grew longer when she was about to feed, otherwise they just got in the way and looked stupid. Thank goodness for small favors. "You'll want to sit," she said, lisping just a tad from her newly-grown fangs. That she hated, it was embarrassing, so she didn't say anything else.

Waiting for him to do as she suggested, more like ordered, Kasia took a seat next to him. She was almost in his lap, it was easier to hit the vein properly from that angle, and she closed her eyes as her fangs sunk into his neck. It would be mostly painless for the human, they were too sharp to rip, and she hummed happily as she drank warm blood for the first time in months. One of her hands tightened on his opposite shoulder, while the other braced herself on the back of the couch. Drinking blood was almost always closely associated with sex for her and she groaned a little when she pulled away, feeling full and not wanting to kill the man. Kasia licked her lips clean of any blood, her saliva sealing up her bite marks, her skin flushed. "Mmm, delicious," she purred, looking content, her eyes heavy.

He'll need to sit? Absurd, but glad he was ushered into a chair. The way Kasia sat in his lap had the Indian rather pleased despite the pressure on his neck. She seemed eager to delve in, and Yiska chose to sit back and allow it, though his head buzzed with a certain tingling he got when he donated blood some time back in his city life. Kasia's voice crept back to him, reality coming back in a few blinks as his body began to regenerate the lost fluid. Talk about straight from the head, Tori might have blanked out, thoughts empty as he watched the wall. So that's what it was like? No wonder Kasia had a fear of fetishes.

It wasnt painful but how could someone think it was pleasurable? It was more thrilling and he wouldnt mind being her walking meal. Though as he continued his train of thought, he'd cant his head to one side, eyes scanning over the now hopefully pacified Vampire. "Im sure you're satisfied? Keep in mind you have to now live here; as our deal remains." Tori adjusted himself, a hand finding the woman's slim waist to keep her propped up-- not that he had to either.

Kasia didnt kill him so obviously he had to keep his end of the deal up. Though he was aware she may become more bold later on. "I was thinking being we've now had some type of understanding, you could come with me; say in the next few days, back to the Hotel. I forgot I needed more than two hands to help with the animals in the back, I dont want to bombard you with too much on our own." Tori admitted, he was there for some handy men to put to work, but it would be nice to have some women here as well; the Vampire herself would be given the less extensive and dirty work of the animals; such as feeding and the occasional walk of horses. The boys, like himself were to clean the stalls, shovel manure, construct new fences or even repairs. Not that he thought women were more... less able to do those, but he figured Kasia would rather not.

She was certainly pacified. Feeling his hand on her waist, Kasia didn't move and didn't care about it. She'd just had the best meal she'd had in months, maybe years, and wasn't going to complain much at all. At least for the moment. Raising an eyebrow when he told her he was going back to the Hotel for someone else, she wrinkled her nose. Yes, let someone else do the dirty work, she had done more than her fair share of hard work over the centuries and didn't feel like it. Gardening, maybe, she wouldn't mind that too much. But animals? "Animals don't care much for me, just so you know. Legends about that are true, they don't like vampires in the end. Predators do, but I doubt you have wolves in the place," Kasia told him with a shrug, not bothering to move off of him. She was comfortable where she was and always a bit lethargic after feeding.

"If you have a garden, I'll do that. Though not in bright light. I won't burn up into ash, but it's uncomfortable for me," she continued, figuring it was best to lay it all out for the man right at the start before he got any funny ideas as to what she was going to do. If he wanted her in bed, she didn't care, though she didn't think he did. Licking her lips again, still tasting the sweet copper aftertaste of blood lingering, she smirked a bit. Maybe whomever he got wouldn't mind being a meal, variety was the spice of life, after all. Not that her new master wasn't delicious, she'd be happy with just him, she supposed. For now.

The haze slowly dropped off, and the Indian was quite content with how they were situated, a woman on his lap and the calming of the tingling along his neck. Gardening? He hasn't touched the garden in who knows how long, though there are rows on either side of the house, so depending on the time of day, there would be atleast one spot for Kasia to attend to whenever she felt it necessary. "That can be arranged, but I dont want to own any wolves." Though the Indian didnt know if he should bring the Vampire with him; although she could amuse herself with the television in the office while he himself went off to purchase some new pets.

Decisions decisions, Tori had his work cut out for him then. He hoped he'd atleast got to keep the Vampire around while he made this trip- too soon but his horses and other livestock needed the tender loving care he could provide with just a little expense of his savings. "Then it's settled, would you like to come with me, or house sit for me while I go back?" Her option, though he wished he didnt come back home to an empty house. "There's everything here to sustain you until I get back, or you can come and we can spend a night in the Bungalows?" They hadnt had the option last time with their need to come here immediately -- He still needed to check those animals of his.

She snickered at the remark of not wanting to own any wolves. If she ever got this collar off, he'd have plenty at his door - it had been too long since she'd used that part of her magic and it would be nice to see some again. They were like big, overgrown dogs, at least for Kasia. Rolling her eyes at his question, she shook her head when he asked if she wanted to go with him. As if she was willingly going to go back to that place. "I'll stay here and watch the house. Gives me time to poke around and find a room I like," the vampiress said, sounding more than satisfied with that idea. She'd get some privacy too, no one just barging into her room like she was at a zoo. That still bugged her and she hoped there were locks on these doors. Otherwise she'd put one in herself, and she wasn't very handy to start with.

"So, when are you going back there? Since I'm apparently not enough for you," she added, just a touch offended and mostly snidely. She didn't share space well and also didn't like the implications that she wasn't good enough. Then again, more people meant a better chance to escape, she reminded herself, huffing at the thought. Still.

A hefty sigh left Yiska, one hand carding through the loose strands of hair at the back of his head. "That isn't at all what I meant. I gave you my reasoning for another set of hands." It's as if Kasia had already taken the role as princess in his home, and true it did guilt the Indian some, he was just not ready to deal with this type of aggression. "Im leaving tomorrow, enough time to show you a few simple things here and there beforehand." Now with the doubt at the back of his head for doing this, Tori moved to stand, giving Kasia's hip a slight tap to entice her to do the same.

"Unless you would rather me work you to the bone because I certainly cant handle the load myself with my horses during this time of year." Tori was atleast honest and sincere, offering to guide Kasia down the hall to her rroom; which lay to the right. "Here is your room, luckily I have five of them. Mine is upstairs, across from the bathroom. Just if you're wondering, I do have a cellphone and the number is written down beneath the phone in the kitchen should you need me while Im away. There's a bath and plenty of towels in each bathroom, though Im only going to be gone one day. Make yourself at home."

Kasia rolled her eyes. Honestly, she quite preferred him going and buying someone to do manual labor. At least he wasn't dumb enough to think she would do it. The vampiress couldn't help but want to give the strange human a hard time, it was her nature, after all. If she was a pacifist she'd have been staked years ago - or not found interesting enough to be turned at all. Sashaying after Tori, she pursed her lips at the room. It was certainly more rustic than she wanted, but the bed looked large and comfortable. The bathroom was up to snuff, she decided privately, as she poked her head into it. If he thought she would share, he was insane. As if. Sniffing at the idea that she would make herself at home, like she was some sort of equal when she knew where she was on the food chain - lower than she would have liked, with the collar on - Kasia frowned. She'd made a deal and while she wasn't literally bound by it, she didn't like to go against her words. After so many years alive, she'd learned to believe in karma and didn't feel like having it bite her on the a** because she went back on a promise. Besides, she had said she'd try, not that she would be overly sweet and nice.

"I'm a big girl. I sincerely doubt I'll need to call you for anything in a day," she remarked, rolling her eyes. She did know how modern things worked, after all, she wasn't some sort of idiot.

"I suppose if that's how you feel." Tori would acknowledge her, and turn to head down the hall, adjusting the thermostat on his way. "Im going to leave early in the morning, so make yourself at home." Returning to his room, the Indian made quick to pack another set of clothing, nothing large, but enough to fill a small shoulder bag he would carry with him. The nights chores were fulfilled, his daily ritualist prayers were completed, and the house was all locked up for the night.

Early morning came; six AM to be precise, and the Indian was boarding the same train he took to come home. The eight hour ride didnt go silently though; every other hour he would end up calling his own home to see if Kasia needed anything, or if she was even there. Such a worried man he was when away from home.

The vampiress was not a morning person, certainly not an early-morning lover, and so was rather grouchy when he constantly called to bother her. "You are a worrywort, leave me alone or I'll turn the phone off!" was the last thing Kasia snapped at him, finally fed up with the constant - to her - ringing. It gave her a headache and was utterly stupid. Unless there were hunters around that she didn't know about, armed with silver and blessed weapons, she wasn't in any danger at all. Huffing as she stuck the cordless phone under the couch to muffle it if he kept calling, she headed outside to explore a bit. It was cloudy, much to her liking, and she wrinkled her nose at what he called a 'garden'. It was disgusting, is what it was, and since no one was around she decided to have herself a time of it. Leaving her shoes inside, Kasia began to pull the weeds out to give herself some space to work.

After a few hours, she could hear the horses and assumed that her Master wouldn't have left them hungry. After all, she had warned him that animals didn't like her. Which was a shame, since she liked some of them, other than wolves. But she'd just spook the horses if she went near the stables and Kasia was sure he didn't want to come home to injured horses, or a bashed-in stable. So she left them alone and went inside, browsing the channels and digging through the kitchen out of sheer boredom. By the time they got home she'd be lounging on the couch as if she owned the place, feet up and looking quite at home, despite her earlier complaints.
