Welcome to J e l I I y's gallery yo!

Here is where I will be posting up my artsies (which are good enough to be shown).
I rarely draw but when I do, I feel so chill and want to just keep drawing, heh.

self taught, but not that great lol, I mainly do traditional and paintings.
I do a lot of different types of art, but I enjoy realistic drawings.
I have tried chibi and fantasy and all, but wouldn't even come close to people on gaia's artsies so I don't even try

Here is just the equipment I use for my sketches and whatnot.
(just posting for fun really
and advice for different ways I can use my equipment)

Drawing/Traditional

considering I'm not so good at shading
I usually stick with:
♠ H and 2H for my outlining
♠ 2B and 4B for light shading
♠ 6B and 8B for dark shading
♠ 6B Graphite for rough shading

♠ Knetgummi Eraser (for details and small to erase areas)
♠ Normal Eraser
♠ Sand Paper (to sharpen my pencils for different pencil textures)
♠ Knife Sharpener
♠ Charcoal Soft and Medium (rarely ever use)
♠ Artline Fine 0.4

Painting

♠ Chromacryl paint
♠ Paintbrushes ... sweatdrop
♠ Sponges (for different textures)
♠ Watercolour pencils

and I always have to have my trusty
"The Art of Drawing" technique book
to let you know I'm pretty professional (;
I keeed of course

Elephant
First sketch i did in my a3 sketchbook
Used H, 2H, 4B, 8B and 6B Graphite
I've planned to draw an adult elephant and a little lake in the desert
But, haven't been able to draw the adult elephant properly,
so I've kinda given up on it, for now.

Another Hand Drawing
Used Artline Fine 0.4 and H along with 2H pencil
Saw a hand drawing on google (can't remember what I actually typed)
It was bare so I decided to add a yin yang symbol
I also found a bunch of different indie patterns
(type "indie patterns to draw" in google)
and added them in randomly.
