Has anyone ever had a WIP be a WIP so long that you forgot what it was supposed to be?

(WIP = Work In Progress)

Updated 7/13/2016 and will remain as the QOTW until there are more answers/remarks to this question.

I'm sure I must have some (since moving house), but it's more likely now to have a project unfinished, where I forgot what point I left off. >.<

In that case, it probably makes more sense to just start over. I have a project like that right now.

I have started a project only to come back to it and wonder where I left off as Dana has but I've gone further that that. I've found some of my early work and actually not recognized it as my own work. cat_rofl Seriously! I don't remember making it. At all. lol.
