That was a big loss for the whole world...

I did a report on him in 5th grade. I was TRULY INSPIRED.

It was the president of his fan club.

John Lennon has been my idol for years. I have many souvenirs and all of his albums. I celebrate his birthday and the anniversary of his death. I try to make the yearly trip to Central Park to the John Lennon memorial for those events, but it's hard to work in a trip to New York between work and school. Last year I got snowed in for the anniversary, which was depressing since it was the 25th anniversary. crying A bunch of people sitting around in Strawberry Fields, playing guitars and singing John Lennon songs well into the morning. It's magical. heart

I love him so much, and even though I wasn't around when he died, I miss him.I had this dream one time, and I was there when it had happend, but I had jumped in front of him so he wouldn't get shot but I would.When I was getting taken to the hospital he asked me what he could do for me, and I said"Be my friend, and keep being yourself."Later in the hospital, I died.What's weird is I've had that dream many times before.
