In terms of humor, she has a sense of it, but she doesn't laugh much. Her fists are indiscriminate: whether you're in the gang or not, if you bother her, she'll have them to do the talking. That being said, she's a gentle soul, and could almost be described as bashful. She's quick to anger and slow to forgive. It's not that she holds grudges, it's just that one bad experience spoils the rest.

Bio: Rhys was previously known as the gentle giant based on her career as a florist. It was something that came as a shock to her family. With her height and her muscle behind her,they expected her to do something that involved strength. She became a florist, working a humble shop in the city of Reim. The reason being that she enjoyed dealing with such delicate herbs and flowers. Other than a having general affinity for plants, it taught her how to be gentle. This was in a previous life, though. When her shop mysteriously burned down, a different kind of fire was ignited inside of her. It was the desire to protect. It had been passed off by the police as an accident. "Her plants got to dry and were the cause of the fire," they told her. But Rhys knew a hate crime when she saw one. She was a demon, an due to her front teeth, there was no mistaking her for human. Crimes against demons were common in a city run by humans.

So, fueled by her desire, she joined the Voiceless ones, a gang who's name finally held meaning to her. If humans had destroyed what she had built, she was going to protect what could bring them down in return. She devoted her loyalty to them, but that does not mean she has to be kind to everyone, only to those who matter. She has rebuilt her flower shop, Spines and Spices, with her savings and the money she has earned from becoming the Lead Sentinel of the Voiceless Ones.

Before all that, however, Rhys came from a past littered with troubles. Like any child, self awareness didn't come naturally, nor did the ability to control herself. She was a loud, outgoing, and fiesty child. It often lead to her unintentionally picking fights with other kids, or breaking the playground equipment. There had never been any serious trouble, a couple bad bruises and a few close calls, but Rhys had managed to keep a tight grip on her strength. She had yet to learn to control her temper, however. One day, after her friends had gone home and she waited for her parents at the playground, another kid approached her and began to antagonize her. Naturally, she got angry. She aimed a punch at the kid's face and snapped his neck.

Rhys was 6.

She was not convicted, due to her age, and her parents tried to be as supportive as possible.

Rhys visits his grave every year to place flowers on it.

With the first life lesson tucked under her belt, she had a growing hatred and fear for her abilities. She had picked up a habit of going to the ruins, or walking through neighborhoods by herself. She walked by a house where someone's pet dog had just had puppies. Their door had been open, and the dog charged at her. It was a relatively small dog, but out of fear of getting bitten, Rhys kicked the dog, not hard, or so she had thought. She broke a rib that punctured a lung. The scolding she received from her parents mirrored everything she felt about herself, and left deep wounds.

She was 9.

It took a long time to heal, and the scars have barely faded.

Learning to fight, and endlessly practicing as a teenager gave her the self control she needed to function with a bad temper like hers, but she struggled with being delicate. Glass, plastic, cloth, and other flimsy materials were her enemies. What gave her an interest in botany was a semester-long project in school. They were instructed to grow plants and record the progress. Rhys was terrified of failing, or destroying her seed, but the plant managed to survive. In fact, it thrived. Going from a seed into a beautiful bloom. It was the first time she had ever dealt with something so delicate, and it gave her hope and confidence.

She was 15.

The fire happened when she was 50. Her shop had been running for over two decades without harm or problem. It shook her to her core. Should it happen again, there'd be devastation and hell to pay.


Abilities: Super strength: She has physical super strength, meaning she was born incredibly strong, her body can withstand a lot of pressure and take a lot of damage without being wounded. Since her strength is physical, she can continue to get stronger and her body can adapt accordingly to carrying the weight. The maximum she can hold is 6,000lbs (3 tons).

Healing factor: She can quickly heal minor wounds, and more slowly recover from major ones. The larger the wound, the harder it is and longer it takes to recover. If she is kept alive long enough, she can even repair fatal wounds. She can not regrow limbs, and if something is completely destroyed in her body (an organ being completely removed) she can't heal it.

Engraged mode/Demon form: When she enters this state she gains more power and speed at the cost of very very extreme fatigue afterwards, as well as a partial loss of self control and rational thought during it. The power lasts for at most 5 minutes if she is completely rested, but usually only 3 minutes.

Intimidating rap skills: She never misses a beat, and she's got rhymes so sick they can kill (not literally)

Dancing: She's able to dance, and do it well, but only does it drunk. This skill helps with her flexibility when fighting

Personality: He's flippant, has no respect for authority, Sylvanus, or anyone else. He's charming, educated, cunning, confident and resourceful, as well as ruthless and heartless. He doesn't care about anyone else other than himself, and it's unbelievably hard to phase him. It's not because he's not self-aware, he just couldn't give a damn, even if he tired. That being said, he knows his place and, out of self-preservation alone, he doesn't push his limits.

Bio: The youngest of the Alvain family, he was constantly overlooked by his parents in favor of his three siblings. He did whatever he wanted with scolding only coming from servants, or his parents at special events. He would never be the head of the family, and the heir already had several spares to turn to. With minimal control over him for most of his life, he adopted some pretty bad habits. The only sibling he attempted to connect with was Sylvanus, the b*****d child with the crazy powers. They were the same age, but they weren't close. It was more like Elijah just kept trying to find new ways to annoy Slyvanus until the other paid attention to him. It only made sense that, after the fight with the eldest brother Ezra that Eli would side with Sylvanus. Ezra had it coming for a long time, and it showed that Sylvanus was insanely strong. If you wanted to make it in that kind of family, you hung out with the strongest one, not the one with the most privileged. Elijah already had more than enough freedom.

When looking for work he was approached by a recruited for the Hellfire Syndicate. Apparently his attitude had caught the guy's eye, as well as the fact that he was a fire elemental, and they already had a job picked out for him. Really, it made his life easier, and he didn't feel like trying to find something respectable that he could agree with. Something in the arts would probably have been his choice anyway, much to the chagrin of his family. They didn't really care, though. They still had two good kids out of four.

When Vincent mysterious disappeared, there had been a rumble amongst the gang, but everyone agreed that no one could take dear Vincent's place. They didn't want to be Jayce and Jayle's caretaker. This included Elijah, of course. When Sylvanus swooped in and beat the beast down a peg, it was a relief to most, and a gift to Eli. A bit of a burden, too, since he had to do what Sylvanus said, and put up with his... tendencies... but he also had a window to non-stop bother him again. Love you bro.

Abilities: Generally Eli has a very tight control over fire, and can conjure fire from his hands that he can shoot into fireballs. All of his fire he can make quickly fizzle and turn into ash, which he can ignite.

Fire Breath: he can breathe fire at will. It doesn't last forever, and is biologically based. He can also able to spit balls of fire that also quickly fizzle out and turn into ash.

Smoke breath: he is able to manipulate the smoke in his lungs in a way that allows him to shape the exhaling of smoke. These shapes can include bursts of smoke, streams of smoke at the enemy to make the enemy suffocate, spheres made of smoke to blind their enemies, even a mist of it from the mouth. He can ignite this as well, but it is only lit for an instant and is more useful to singe or distract enemies, and can't be used while trying to blind or choke people.

Fire web: He can place strings that are near invisible in an area and ignite them, creating a trap or blocking the path of someone else. Limited to how much string he has with him.

Envious Urge: A version of his smoke has the properties to fill people or animals with feelings of seething envy when it's inhaled. Affected people/animals turn upon the nearest person and attempt to disarm/take their weapon, steal something they're holding, or take something from that person that they know they have.

Weapon of Choice: Throwing cards, but he can also throw other objects, like knives.

Personality: He's nice, but incompetent. Devlin is an easygoing person normally, but at the slightest upset he really can't hold his own, and ends up making a mess of a situation. Whether it's entirely based on how unlucky he is, or how his nerves manage to frazzle him enough to render any rational thought void in the moment, we'll never really know. Probably both. Devlin is quick to work up, but hard to get frustrated or angry, and fast to forgive and trust.
Bio: In regards to Devlin's life, nothing extraordinary happened. He had a large family with many siblings, and he was the oldest. While things were cacophonous and disorderly at best, nothing was terrible. His family was low income, and so he got a job right out of school to help pay for that. Or, he tried to, at least.
Devlin has a history of rotten luck, making large and small mistakes, and butterfingers. He's a bit of an unfortunate soul, and even though his abilities should have always been able to help him out in a pinch, he doesn't have enough wit to figure out how to properly use what he's given. That being said, it didn't phase him. He was happy just to be around, and always kept a positive, optimistic outlook in face of adversity.

How did he landed a job as a receptionist to the governor of Zlido, no one asked ever? Easy, Devlin met Ambrosios personally. When out of work, which happened a lot to Devlin, he'd been running around handing out his resume like it was a candy sample that he had to get rid of before he could go home. And he actually did have to get rid of all his resumes before he had to get home. With a fair number in his hand, he ran into a lamp post and tripped backwards, papers spilling out of his hands and onto the street and sidewalk. Then the wind had blown a majority of them away. A passerby plucked one of the resumes from the air. That was how he managed to land that job, and also stain the governor's expensive clothes with coffee.

Abilities: Lucky Charm: he can call forth any reasonable item that can aid him, but is given no direction on how to use it, he has to figure that out on his own. Only one item can be called at a time and the ability also saps his strength; he must do something (eat, rest, etc.) to regain his energy and get rid of previous item (if one is called forth) in order to use the ability again.

Personality: In a word Kries is laidback. He's easygoing and hard to work up, and lax to the point of frustration at times. Nothing seems to phase him, either because he inuldges too much in illicite substances, or he just doesn't care. In terms of how he views other people, the less human, the better. Humans are simple, carnal beings to him that are far too easy to manipulate and control. The people that protect humans, mainly the members of Eternal Dark, are like shepherds to him, taking care of their loyal flock. The people that fight them he sees as putting them back into their place. He wouldn't ever dream of trying to harm a human in this day and age though, it'd be horrible publicity.
Bio: Kries in his younger days he did what all sirens did. Lured men into the ocean with his songs and drowned them in order to eat them. Back when it was appropriate for people to just go missing, or races to do what they needed to to survive naturally, it wasn't seen as anything wrong. Then the government came and began regulating things, and Kreis felt a yearning to gain back the control he once had over humans. They used to practically beg to be drowned.

But that was then, and this is now.

Kreis established Siren's song because he is, in fact, a siren. It was an easy way to lure a mass of people into one spot and control large crowds. He liked the power of it, being able to influence a mass of people with just the sound of music. It had humble beginnings, but picked up widely due to his abilities. When your music can lure people in, it's pretty easy to get them to stay.

Abilities: Siren's song- Kreis is able to lure and hypnotize people with the sound of his singing voice. The ability is more like heavy persuasion, it is not irresistible, but more like something is calling to you and tempting you. This ability does not work on someone who has an ability similar to this. If the song is interrupted the listeners will quickly be able to recover themselves.
Siren's Voice- Similar to Siren's song, but with a normal speaking voice. It is mostly used for giving orders. An even meter and a calm tone are needed to make this ability effective. Like Siren's Song, it is more like being heavily persuaded and influenced to do something, but is not irresistible, and if the speech is interrupted or the tone/meter is lost, the person will easily come to their senses.

He can also change forms at will, even out of water.

When provoked scales start to appear on his skin, his teeth sharpen, and his eyes change to be wider and more fish-like and his pupils turn into slits. His gills also flare up.

He is very fast and agile in the water, and knows the waterways of Cleka well. He's lived there for 500+ years, after all.

Personality: Harsh and chatty, and blunt to the point of rudeness. It wasn't because her parents couldn't raise her right, she was just a spoiled brat. Loud and obnoxious as a kid, she was loud an obnoxious now. But above all that, her energy and boisterous attitude make her generally pleasant to be around. She brings a vitality to the conversation and to the atmosphere. Despite her obscene nature, she's extremely bright with mechanics.

As a contrast to that, if she doesn't feel like doing something, she'll do anything to get out of it. Lazy days are a guilty pleasure that turned into an almost every day pastime for her, and when it's time to chill, she likes to bring along friends to enjoy her breaks.

Bio: Playing with toys, and breaking them, had been a near every-day occurance for Jin. She was too rough and tumble for her parents to keep up with. Buying more toys for her would just get to expensive, so her parents began to buy builing sets and teaching her how to make those. If they broke, her parents always told her that she knew how to fix them

It lead to a habit of building, and while her troubled teens were filled with the amount of superficial drama you'd expect from someone like her, in college she finally decided to take action. She learned how not to be a two bit mechanic, and got into robotics. Jin obviously had a fascination with them, and was inspired to make them bigger, stronger, smarter, and better than anyone else. Of course that's still a dream in this moment, but it doesn't mean she isn't fairly adept at building and programming. Her passion is nearly boundless, but her motivation is.

Personality: Vajra is confident in herself, but very cautious, and easily lashes out when afraid. The response isn't anger, though, it's purely panic and fear at whatever is startling or threatening her. Often times when she gets too afraid, she'd break down into tears in order to prevent a more rash reaction, or to stop herself from lashing out. Another reaction to fear she has is to be paralyzed for a moment, unable to react before panicing and breaking down. Despite this, she is usually optimistic and tries to keep a cheery attitude around friends. Around people who she isn't acquianted with she appears rather cold and moody.

Bio: Varja's past was relatively uneventful. She'd been put to work at a young age to hone her skills and someone who can manipulate stones and minerals, and she learned to smell, feel, and taste various different stones in order to detect veins in rock. She was basically picked and chosen to be a miner and she despises the job with a burning passion, but is too worried about the repercussions to quit. Besides, money is money, and if she's lucky she gets to hand deliver cut gems to jewelers.

That's what she's been doing and she loathes it. Her house is modest, her things are modest, she can't take care of houseplants for s**t, so she uses semiprecious gems as decorations. They were easy to find with her capabilities. Despite how much she hates her job, she does, however, love the ground, and rocks, and is appreciative of her abilities.

She also has many fears. Being easily startled makes them worse. Her main fears are spiders, small spider, giant spiders, spiders in general, ghosts, the dark, and going alone through the dark because of aforementioned fears. Needless to say pranks by scares are a bad idea on her, unless you want to make her cry.

Abilities: Earth manipulation: based on martial arts techniques, she can push move rocks and pull out sheets and other various shapes of rock. It takes a great deal of foundation, but not a lot of concentration for someone who uses it on the daily like she does, making her unintentionally use her abilities.

The largest sheet she can pull out is 10 feet in one direction, and 5 feet in another. Her sheets can stay up in her control, but once she looses focus physics decides their structural integrity.

The rocks can be picked up, thrown, and recalled, but once they break into smaller pieces, she can no longer control them. If they are too large, she also can not control them. If the rocks or stones began small, she can control them, but it takes a lot of concentration and does little damage.

Taste, smell, and touch mineral detection: Basically that, she has a very good sense of smell for finding minerals, and pick out each different one. If there are too many, it gets jumbled, and her ability to judge their exact location is good, but mostly relative and based of years of educated guessing. Touch and taste are basically to judge quality.

Transmute Rock to Mud (and vise versa): This ability turns natural, uncut, or unrefined rock of any sort into an equal volume of mud. The depth of the mud created cannot exceed 10 feet. Stone buildings and concrete are immune to this ability, since transmute rock to mud can't affect worked stone and doesn't reach deep enough to compromise a buildings' foundations. Transmute mud to rock spell restores its substance, but it will not regain it's original form. Evaporation turns the mud to normal dirt over a period of time.

Personality: Most would describe him as charming, but not flirty. Laidback, but not easygoing, yet not a complete stickler for rules either. They're made to be guides, in his eyes. The most important thing he can do is help people, a main factor for joining the military. He dispeses gang violence, yet recognizes that the gangs fight for mostly valid reasons. Tyrone is a fanatic for whatever new electronics and robotics are coming out, and while he can't build anything himself, he greatly admires those who can. He also is in love with music, and DJs on the weekends for parties and clubs, as well as makes remixes in his free time. His favorite company is Drowwood-based Tetra Tech.

Bio: Tyrone grew up in Drowwood, the technology central of the country, but once his parents noticed more gang activity involving the androids, they hightailed it out of there to Zlido, where they could be closer to the military and feel some false sense of security. In hindsight, Zlido was no safer than any other city where was. They were still pretty corrupt, but that's a face that he would find out only after joining the military.

His parents instilled him with the knowledge that fighting for something good wasn't wrong, and that the android's fight for equality wasn't wrong either, but they wanted to avoid the violence. Violence was never the answer, yada yada yada. It's what prompted his decision to join the military on the misguided assumption that they actually would be able to help. That really wasn't the case, but once in, he found it too hard to quit. When you worked most of your life trying to get somwhere, it seemed like such a waste to just quit at a moments notice. Perhaps they'll soon get better, is what he's hoping.

Tyrone's house is probably one of the most technologically advanced in Zlido. He's equipped it with many luxuries he remembered having when still living in Drowwood, and more. Aside from being a huge buff on that front, he developed a taste for music in his teens. Ty DJs on the weekends to ear some extra cash and fill the hole in his wallet that buying new electronics often leaves him. It's done a pretty good job at doing that, seeing how well equipped he is. Like most people, he also loves video games and sinks hours into them as a hobby, often times inviting people over to play with him.

He's also very into street fashion.

Abilities: Tyromancy, which includes...

Cheese divination: He sees visions of the future, and warnings, through cyptic messages by tasting and smelling different cheeses. It only works for one cheese once, he does have a very receptive memory for visions, and can call upon them or write them down very accurately.

The ability to change the smell, taste, or texture of cheese at will, but only once, and the effect wears off after a minute or two.

Healing Cheese: He can imbue cheese with various magical abilities that can cure status effects, like curing or fending off most known poisons, being able to ease or cure paralysis, using the scent to wake someone up from slumber, and cheese that can give small boosts of energy to ease fatigue. It only works on one person for a few bites, and there is a limit to how much the cheese is able to cure based on how strong the effect is. The stronger the effect, the less the cheese is able to do. It also is said to improve moods.

Force Fields: the ability to create walls or a bubble that stretches up to 10 feet in every direction around a target. The bigger the field, the harder it is to maintain. The largest can only be used for about 30 seconds to 1 minute, while the smallest may be able to be maintained for up to 5 minutes. They get weaker with each hit, and can only take up to 5 normal hits, or 2-3 very powerful hits. The stronger the hit, the less it can take. Depending on the size, more fields can be generated with little time in between, however the less time Tyrone has to recover, the weaker the field is, with immediately generated fields barely able to stop most hits.

Weapon of Choice: Knives, throwing knives and daggers. He's also able to fight unarmed proficiently, but it's very strong.
