Raeburn sighed and looked around. He truly used to love this place. But after that incident last month he can barely stand to be there. It was lunchtime but the bar was fairly empty. Turning back to his table, Raeburn poked at his food, thinking. Maybe he should just move. Get away from this dreadful place and all its terrible memories. Maybe he could go to the big city, find a nice apartment, and perhaps a female to call his own. Laughing at himself, Raeburn stood and threw some money down on the table. As he was walking towards the door he saw her, the girl he used to watch. Her striking silver eyes were what drew his attention the first time he saw her, but her personality was what made her interesting. She was so upbeat and always smiling. He used to foolishly wish he could approach her and start up a conversation. But he couldn't bear the thought of being rejected, so he held back. Raeburn smiled, kicking himself mentally for being such a wuss. Sighing, he continued on his way out, pausing to breathe once he was outside.

Taking a deep breath, Raeburn looks up and down the street. What should he do now? Turning to walk down the street, the door of the bar bursts open in front of him, nearly knocking him down. Regaining his footing, Raeburn looked at the young man and growled. "Watch where you are going you little punk!" The boy stared at him before he bolted across the street, dropping a cell phone. Raeburn shook his head and picked up the phone. He figured it didn't belong to the boy so he decided to go through the pictures and see if he could figure out who the owner was. He was a little shocked when he saw a familiar face smiling back at him. Raeburn sighed and cursed to himself. Looks like today was the day he spoke to the mysterious beauty with the striking silver eyes. Composing himself, he turned back to the door and walked back in to the bar. Slowly, he approached the girls table and grimaced. He couldn't believe he was going to talk to her. Raeburn stopped next to her table and lightly cleared his throat. "Excuse me miss, but I believe this belongs to you." He held out the phone and placed it on the table, sliding it to her.

Raeburn cleared his throat and nodded. "It's not a problem. Some punk bumped into me outside and dropped that." Glancing out the window, he sighed and tried to smile at the girl. "My name is Raeburn, by the way. It was nice to meet you Dallas. Be careful around these parts. This place may have amazing food, but the clientele isn't the best." Raeburn sighed and shook his head. "Sorry to have bothered you. Please enjoy your lunch and have a good day." Turning to walk away, he gave himself a mental punch. Why hadn't he tried talking to her before now?! She was such a kind, sweet thing. But, No one so pure belonged in his life though.

Raeburn looked down at his hand where the girl was holding him and slightly blushed. Clearing his throat he looked the other way. "No thanks. It's no problem, really. Just doing what's right, ya know?" Raeburn shrugged and looked back at the girl and felt his face heating again. Damn she was beautiful and so sweet!

Raeburn gnawed on his bottom lip as he contemplated her offer. Damn was it a tempting offer. Glancing around, he sighed and nodded. "Alright. Why not? I can't turn down a lady asking for some company." Raeburn grinned and led them back to her table.

Reburn smirked at the girls enthusiasm. "Well, not much honestly. All I really do is work and hang around this place." Glancing around, he sighed. "What about you, lovely? What are you doing here?"
