Escaping her house, Lucrezia took a deep breath of night air. "Freedom." At least for a few hours. She couldn't stand to be in that place. All that sickening love. Gross. Maybe it would be easier if she had someone. That was the main problem. She had no idea who or what she'd like. She had some inkling but...Each day that passed without that special someone made her more and more irritated. She needed a night out. Maybe the halfling wouldn't be back before morning. She hoped not. Whistling, she set off for a night on the town.

Gabriel loved the feel of the night air against his skin driving down the back roads of town. Being the alpha of the local pack was a hard, lonely job. Coming in to town, Gabriel pulled up outside the first bar he saw and cut his engine, putting down the kickstand of his motorcycle. Standing, Gabriel looked around. It was an unusually quiet night. Shaking his head, he strolled in to the bar and took a seat at a booth in the very back, ordering a drink.

Ah the bar. Stereotypical place for picking up random people. Perfect place for her to find someone to try out. She doubted anyone else there cared about lasting commitments. Surely someone will catch her eye that would be alright with a short fling. Which there better be. Emptier streets could mean that people were inside businesses right? Fixing her vest to make it sit a bit more open, Lucrezia entered the bar. The damphir kept her gaze on the bar counter as she made her way to it. No need to let people know she was in need of someone. Not yet. Ordering a drink, she sat on a stool in the middle of it. Only once it arrived did she swing around to look around the bar over the rim of the glass. Now, to see the prospects.

Gabriel sighed and ordered another drink. This wasn't like him. Usually, he would hang out at Luca's with the rest of his pack. But with all the girls coming to breeding age it was becoming difficult to find time by himself. Being the leader of the pack, all the girls wanted to be his mate. But he didn't want any of them. Having all these young females throwing themselves at him was driving Gabriel crazy. He hadn't been with a female in years. All this pent up frustration was getting to him. Sighing, Gabriel downed his drink and ordered another.

Some movement in the back caught her eye. Or a little bit of it. It was hard to see from this angle. But either there were short people sitting at that table with what little she could see, or they were all alone. And why sit at the very back if you were all alone? Intrigued, Lucrezia picked up her drink and made her way over to the booth. Not a bad looking dude once she saw him. He did have a good taste in clothes and accessories, monochrome as it all seemed to be. "Mind if I join you?"

At the sound of a females soft voice, Gabriel looked up. Seeing the beautiful female in front of his table, he cocked a grin. "Don't mind at all. Help yourself." Gabriel slid over in the seat to make room for the female and smiled at her. "So mind if I ask what brings you here tonight?" Raising his hand, Gabriel ordered a round of drinks for the two of them.

"Well, since you were so kind to let me join you," Lucrezia slid into the offered seat, making sure though to keep a little bit of distance between the two of them. There was such a thing as too forward. She refused to be that kind of female to just throw herself at anyone and pretty much ask, or beg, right off the bat to be taken home. "I suppose I could in turn answer your question." She finished her drink and set it on the tabletop. "What would bring anybody to a place like this all on their lonesome? To forget something, to find something."
