Fear
Come and be bold, let me chase away your tears,
In a world where demons walk in darkness as shadows create your fears,
It's cold where you're standing boldness looses shape,
teeth begin to chatter, claws begin to grate.
Far from the grounds you roam , only to find you're not alone,
Far from the bounds of reality, you know there is no hope.
Fatality calls in your mind, the chill of graves unkind,
Memories distant Haunting, The Time, The now, daunting.
But in your tangled state of mind, there is a place a refuge you'll find,
you try to crawl, scream a yelp, only to be meek, not receiving of help,
as you face on your fears,your eyes flash those betters years.
And all fall to darkness, that black endless void,
a blank canvas , an empty place,
This is death, you feared to face.

Mirrors Image
There in pieces laid,
Wrought with Anger,
A figure without a name.
hidden by a shattered world perception,
her mask hiding her deception.
Those the other side of the glass,
think not to question nor ask.
Seen as a shadow within the din,
She cries to the reflexion to be seen,
the hurt is plain in her eyes, and tears do fall!
but the pain, she says to none at all.
but when it dries, her reflexion hides
and yet it is her heart hidden that contorts and swells.
bidding her in contemplation to tell.

Do you know?
Do you know how much i love you?
can you see what i try and do?
Can you see the smile you put there,
you bring me happiness true.
Your love made me fall
But that's not all,
My heart is yours, so you know,
every secret to you i show.
With you i share everything,
and you fill me with glee,
you revert me from a gloomy cloud,
so i have the strength to stand proud.
And all because I love thee,
i am glad because....
You chose me

Halloween
Halloween, hear them scream
where nothing is what it seems,
Trick or treat in the witching hour
to see them gawp and cower,
lights will dim, in the manic din,
as they dance the streets for sweets,
we are to give them candy or what is handy,
to give the demand is paid for a sweet tooth fruit,
a offering is passed, and they are mute.
To see their eyes lit with glee, a grubby hand might be greedy
to watch them scurry and flee, few might stop and thank ye.

A Mother's Love
Sleep my child rest your head upon mine deep in dreaming,
till the night is over and morning comes oh gleaming,
a soft touch of fingertips across your brow does go,
to raise your spirits high in clouds, A mother's love i show.

Doormat
I'm not a doormat i'll have you know,
I have feelings and emotions that show,
without discretion i see you wipe your feet
I see with more than my eyes as you tread me into the street,
the nasty glares you give and greet me with.
Does it sift through like a sieve?
Oh how i see your judgement as the hammer swings,
with it witness the lack of compassion for all the things it brings,
You cannot see this cage, but i see your rage,
mostly when you lack the knowledge to know,
you failed to believe what i think and what i feel is no act nor show,
unlike a television there is no off switch you know.
Sad as it is i cannot convey how i feel, as i wear this mask that flakes and peels, i shake from the tensions of what is real. only in time will i be able to heal.

Christmas
Christmas time, Merriment and Twine,
Wrapping paper and scissors and stockings to prepare,
tinsel and trimmings and jingle songs to mine ear,
Oh joy's not again..oh well atleast it's not all year.
Marzipan and icing, following a recipe not sure where to begin,
Instructions and batteries what slot do i stick it in?
which lead goes where? and why does that light blink,
oh gawd how much?! my budgets about to sink!
children winging the xmas list is long, oh gawd not again,
thats the twentieth time i heard that song!
Cards many do i write,
I don't even know this blight
okay calm down, turn that frown upside down,
its christmas don't you know and santa is in town!
Santa? you said more like Satan, the hellish man in red,
Hoh ho no.. id rather be in bed and nurse this head,
smile for the camera another year is done!
don't you just hate it..those lights pulled down one by one.
