Beat Fallout 4 for the second time, ended up sididng with the BoS (like always) and all of a sudden Ronnie Shaw approaches me when I take a vertibird ride back to the castle to inform me of another Synth invasion.

I was a bit surprised because if you side with the brotherhood you automatically complete the quest without having to do it.

At first I thought I thought it was a glitch, but the dialog was different. I ended up saving back though because I wasn't ready.

Now that I'm ready she still hasn't given me the quest again

Does anyone know how to re-trigger this quest?
'Cause honestly I really rEALLY wanna do it.

i want to say it's just them doing sort of time filler stuff again. I worked for the railroad and I got a courser elimination mission at the same place twice, once before i beat the game, once after. I'm assuming synth invasions are the same kind of thing but for the brotherhoodl

I would think this might be a glitch perhaps.

Okay finally on a computer so I can reply easier now

I know it's not a glitch because the Dialogue it different.
Before the quest Ronnie will instead say something like
"It's good that you're here. It's important for his general to lead his men" or some s**t like that, and after the quest she'll instead make a speech going
"we lost some good people but can't sit around mopping about our losses or bragging about our victory minutemen blah blah blah", and instead of telling you to go see Preston she instead says "Don't worry General, we got everything else taken care of from here"

So I'm sure it isn't a glitch

This happened to me yesterday. After helping a lot of settlements and stuff. Preston tells me the castle is in need of help and the quest is activated.
