Hi there! I'm Krabkri. As of this message, I am now the leader of this community. I understand that it's been pretty inactive lately. Therefore, I find it only appropriate to ask: What can we do to help you participate or feel more connected?
If there's something you want to see in the community, post here! Don't be afraid! Any suggestion is completely valid, save for a special few (no we cannot have virtual taco tuesday.). Things like "more meetups" or "events" or maybe "more roleplays" are examples of things you can ask for. Make sure to be specific so the mod team and I can work towards helping out this community!
Go ahead!
UPDATE: All suggestions will be thrown in to a special little raffle for 15bil gold! When's the cut-off? I do not know, the thread is still new. It shall be thought over.

Well i was hoping that meet up date should be set up, like in which towns and what times and which date, but keep it consistent so that every ******** knows and aint got to worry bout it. Say like every 2 weeks on Friday or at some random town in either choice of towns one or towns two. (hopefully towns 1) But itll get everyone to all up and help figure out who each of us is. Maybe set up another place or a new spot for people to introduce themselves, and which characters they cosplay. Maybe a different spot for peeps to tell each other skype names and s**t. thats all i got.

I would be up for that.

I guess kicking off some new roleplays is hopefully a given. But rather than having people make roleplay threads and then hope others join, maybe have a sticky thread where they can first discuss ideas for roleplays and see how who and how many are actually interested in joining up. Or if someone has an idea and doesn't wish to use it themselves, or people can help with ideas that improve some ideas from just a scenario to a full out story arced thing.

I do like the idea of creating a thread to discuss what people would like to roleplay. I could easily set that up. As for the second suggestion, how would that be implemented? It sounds like a roleplay workshop from here, but I could be wrong.
Regardless, I am happy to hear feedback from you. These sound like great ideas that would help people feel more inclined to participate-- especially when they get a say on what kind of roleplays they want.

I guess it could be considered a kind of workshop, but I may have worded it a little badly...and I'm not really sure how I can explain what I mean...I know I've come across roleplays before that whilst the concept for it was very interesting and I'd have loved to get involved with it but the execution of it where say it was lacking in direction or anything that could have lead to it being a really great roleplay and no one really knew what to suggest to save it so it died off really quickly whilst everyone still wanted to continue it...if that makes anymore sense...

I suppose that could double as a recruiting board. Would it work like this? --- Let's revive pokestuck! I make a post about it in the new thread. People say what they want, or the ideas they have. Like, "Hey, I think there should be an antagonist." It gets reworked. Maybe more people are added.

I guess pretty much like that, of course then once one has been started/revived encouraging communication outside the forum on the direction/things the roleplay needs would be an idea so that it the thread doesn't get cluttered with a lot of talk for idea in ongoing roleplays.

I didn't initially have in mind a separate thread for each rp...which would have made things a cluster of varying conversations for different rps, so then when one was sorted out the conversation for that rp could withdraw from the thread and more to say pms or something. But now that you've put the idea into my mind that actually sounds like a rather good idea having it with separate threads in a subsection to the subforum (...is that even possible, I have no idea anymore) that could specifically be for ideas and such. If it can be done that way then there may be no reason to close it...however if that is not possible then yeah go with the closing it and discussions can move to pms.

Thank you for discussing this with me. I just wanted to get a full idea of what you had in mind. My apologies for going on for so long! Are there any ideas for RPs you want to see? Or perhaps one you want to see revived?

As for ideas, I get a lot of ones that are mostly just small parts of things...hence why a place to expand and improve ideas struck me as a good idea since I also like to have rps at least some hint to some sort of storyish thing happening. Off the top of my head, uh, zombie apocalypse ones I've found usually end up being interesting. Thing is I can also look to old rps for inspiration too.

For the smaller ideas, do you mean for existing RPs or for separate, original ones?
I feel that right now, to make a thread for every RP would be rather difficult! Especially when most of them have been inactive for a considerable amount of time. I'm unsure about the amount of interest for each. A megathread may be best to start off.

Yeah, that's a good point, starting off in one sounds like a good idea since you can always split it into separate ones later if it turns out that is what's needed.

How does an "Idea Box" thread sound? People could place down roleplay ideas there and if enough interest is gathered, an RP could start.
