Sting: Though she constantly wears gloves, tiny spines all over her body causes her to poison anyone she touches with skin-on-skin contact. While nonfatal, this poisoning can lead to severe and extensive pain.

Spine-shot: When threatened, she can shoot her many spines, making them mini projectiles for any unsuspecting foe.
[Ability 3]:
Waterbreathing: She is a fish. And fish have gills. This was kind of a given.

Personality:
A tough-as-nails buccaneer doesn't earn that reputation on mere talk. While jovial and hearty, Verdigris can be just as ruthless as the best pirates who ruled the seven seas and more. Honorable by nature and loyal to a fault, this prideful fish puts her crew first and any others second. It truly was a stroke of luck that she found employment with Reeves, considering plundering the seas is difficult without the actual seas. Lord of the seas? More like lord of the trees.
Fears:
Fish fries, fisherman, fish sticks, those cute little knick-knacks that are just dead fish with googly eyes, that big mouth billy bass that Reeves has hung up behind her desk. It just ain't right.
Backstory: Once a lionfish enjoying driftwood in the tropical bay of Oz, Verdigris spent her time being a fish among a colony of shrimp and one man-o-war when a multi-dimensional hurricaneAs Oz is prone to having since Dorothy decided to make her entrance swept through the sea and thrust the lionfish, shrimp, man-o-war, and driftwood into the world of wonderland. As if things couldn't get worse, they were no longer in the ocean, but on land. After a good ten minutes of thrashing around and hyperventilating, the crew stopped long enough to find that, while they were in many aspects still fish, they were humanoid. They also found that they could indeed breathe, though walking was still proving to be quite the problem. Their driftwood home had become a huge pirate ship that was currently stuck in a rather large tree. After many attempts, Verdigris managed to shakily stand, only to fall off the ship and onto the ground below. Needless to say, they took time to practice and, while still clumsy, they can now stand and walk with the best of them.
Goal:
To be the most swashbuckling buccaneer in all of Wonderland.
Extra: When passing by fish tanks, Verdigris will stop to shamelessly flirt with the fish inside.
