Everything was absolutely terrifying! The whole world was falling apart at the seams. Helios had found himself a girl that actually accepted the challenge of going on a date. Let’s not get too far ahead of ourselves though. There are several questions that needed to be answered first. One, how did Helios meet this girl and why is the hell she wanted to go on a date with Helios out of all people. To answer the first is simple. This new girl that Helios found was straight out of his home town in the United States. That’s right, this girl was from the real world! Her name was Faith Agistein. She was the same height as Helios and was slightly thinner with green eyes and light brown hair that was usually tied up into a bun. Now for the exciting part! Just kidding, it’s just the second part. The two met after the conflict in wonderland ended and for the better. Helios was visiting his home after spending a couple years in London England with his cousin Yuki. The young boy was trying to forget the horrors of war and found himself unable to escape the madness fully. So Helios did what any other kid would do to go crazy and let out some steam. He started taking martial art classes. That went over real well with others. Here comes some crazy lab rat looking kid who unbeknownst to them already has Spec Ops level training. One after another, each of the Dojo’s Masters went to gauge the boy’s potential level and each landed flat on their backs. That’s when Helios met Faith. Faith was one of apprentices just a few belts shy of entering the Black Belts. Normally in close combat, you never gauge an opponent solely on looks. That’s what the others failed to see. This girl did not make that mistake. “Alright Helios, come at me with all you got.” Faith said calmly. Had Selene or Yuki been there…they’d be singing her funeral song. Helios did exactly as she said and began to start what looked like a dance off of punches and kicks. Helios had no official style of fighting which threw most others off. Helios’ fighting style was more of a break dance than anything else. That was what Faith saw anyway. It didn’t matter in the end however. Faith ended up on her back all the same. After the fight Faith pulled Helios aside to ask him a few questions. Now Helios being excitable as he is, bounced around like a 3 year old. Believe it or not, that’s what got her interested in the boy. NO no no, not that he acted like he was 3, but the fact that someone could go from…okay never mind. She liked the fact that he acted as crazy as he did. So that’s how the two met, but the real juicy stuff is what happened during the date. And admit it, that’s why you’re still reading this, right? Am I right? Course I am! I’m the Narrator, I have to be! It was on a late Thursday night, and Helios was getting all spiffied up and looking good for the date. Of course mom was there to help out. Helios was a lost cause when it came to things like this. She was still dumbfounded that a girl even wanted to date him in the first place. Helios’ mom even laid out a simple enough plan that even he could understand. Go to Dinner, Walk, then take her Home. How could you screw this up? Well it being Helios…apparently very easily. HA, and you thought that was a spoiler! Oops, spoiler.
Faith and Helios met together at a restaurant like any other dating couple would. Immediately Helios began being Helios. Scary thing was that Faith was enjoying it and couldn’t help herself but laugh at the boy’s antics. Sitting down at the table, Helios started telling stories about wonderland without directly saying it was in wonderland. No sense in making himself look mentally insane just yet. Most of the stories were about the fights between him and his cousin Yuki. How the two of them settled differences to see the bigger threat around them. This sounded kind of odd to Faith. She hadn’t heard of anything like this before but it still held her interest. Maybe Helios was just telling stories. The fighting kind of matched though. This boy was quite the fighter.
The two went back and forth telling stories about one another, then something odd occurred. Faith mentioned Wonderland. Not that she had been there, but that watched the animated movie of Wonderland. This came to a shock to Helios. “Was it a horror movie?” He asked with a serious and questioning look. “No not at all, it’s a children’s movie.” This baffled the boy completely. What had gone through in that place and someone made a movie out of it? It had to be something different for sure. The Wonderland he knew was not for kids. The couple did not dwell on the subject much longer as Helios has the attention span of a squirrel. Luck have it, the dinner is not when Helios messed up. Nope keep guessing! It was on the walk around town that things started to get interesting. The two started walking side by side exchanging words. They ended up at a small play ground that was lit only by a few lamp posts. Faith walked calmly to one of the swings while Helios ran wildly laughing his brains out. After a few minutes of acting like a complete goof, Helios made his way to the swing next to Faith. Both of them stared up at the beautiful starry night. “You know Helios, this was a great night. I haven’t had this much fun in a long time.” Faith said softly. “No problem! This is probably the most normal thing I’ve done in years and it’s been great!” Helios replied happily. “Now that I think of it. Where were doing of all this?” Faith asked. “Hm, oh you wouldn’t believe me if I told you heheh” The boy said spinning the swing in circles. “Why wouldn’t I? I mean I’ve been to some crazy places before.” “…HA! I can show you actually!” Helios jumped off the swing and turned to face the girl. Faith paused for a moment very puzzled and slightly nervous. Helios reassured her and slapped on the goofy smile that Yuki, and the rest of the Family knew him for. Faith sighed and smiled lightly at the crazy boy, and hopped off the swing. She walked over to Helios and took his hand. The two looked at one another and smile softly. Mom’s plan ran through Helios’ head and thoughts of Wonderland started to appear. ‘Take her to dinner, go on a walk, and take her home.’ Helios knew the only way to see if Faith truly believed him was to take her to ‘his’ home. “Hey Faith, if I asked you to close your eyes and wrap your arms around me….would you?” “That’s a bit of an odd request on the first date don’t you think?” “OHHHH it’s not like that! I’d wouldn’t warn you for stuff like that!” “O-oh…uh…t-that’s good to know I guess…okay I’ll trust you.” Faith was now quite nervous and blushed a little as she closed her eyes and wrapped her arms around Helios’ waist.
Helios was clever for an idiot but this was only because Faith didn’t know the strange things about rabbit holes. They’re everywhere. With one motion Helios put his arms around Faith and started to fall backwards. Faith’s grip tightened as she felt them falling, but she never felt them hit the ground. After a few more seconds she felt something change. As the two fell, faith opened her eyes and realized that they were nowhere near the ground!? Helios was not in his handsome outfit either. “Where are we and why are we falling!? We’re going to die!” Faith yelled out with a panic. “Oh sorry about that, this happens a lot! Hold on tight!” Helios replied with an absolutely calm tone as if this very thing happened quite often. Actually it did. Helios had a knack for finding the Rabbit holes that were the worst. As Helios and Faith were now falling through the skies of Wonderland, Helios now had his abilities back and before Faith knew it, they were darting around the sky. Her screams filled the air as they were now approaching the ground and fast. Faith kept screaming and screaming. She hadn’t realized that Helios had already landed on the ground. The boy set her on ground gently and the screams stopped immediately. “WHAT THE ******** WAS THAT!?” screamed Faith. “We could have died!” “That wasn’t fun? Oops my bad there Faith. I figured I’d show you the place where all my stories took place….Welcome to Wonderland!” Helios said happily and begun to dance in place in front of Faith. He wore that classic stupid grin on his face. Now that was the biggest mistake you could make on a date. Hey, we just met and this crazy. Take my hand and let me take you to wonderland!
Faith took a few moment to soak in what she was just told and slowly it began to make sense…somehow. The funniest part was that they landed right in the middle of the Castle of Spades…right in the middle of the garden. Faith wasn’t too sure how to act right then. Not knowing whether to be extremely pissed or really happy. She was in the world of one of her favorite kid movies and it was amazing! One question popped up in her head and that was if was able to get home? Helios answered that quickly with a positive answer. It was a sigh of relief that was the next sound coming out of Faith.
All in all, First date with the craziest man she ever met in her life, she had a perfect dinner, and pleasant walk through a park and terrifying entrance to Wonderland. What else could go wrong.
