Hey guys! I want to start out saying sorry about Halloween. I wasn't able to do the ToT thing I had planned. I actually injured myself quite badly. I fell off my bicycle riding to work and in the process, dislocated my ankle and broke my fibia. (also tore ligaments which later resulted in surgery) So the end of October was pretty shitty for me. I was on a lot of pain pills and slept for a long time. I felt like s**t and couldn't focus on much. For that, I apologize.
Buuut... I am now feeling a lot better (haven't needed pain meds for days) so I can finally focus on stuff again. I'm still in a splint (much better than the cast) and basically stuck in bed, so I have time to kill.
Any ideas for an Xmas giveaway? I still have some items stocked up for prizes (I can leave out the Halloween ones and save those for next year)
Maybe something with caroling? maybe a silly song writing contest? 8D (write to the melody of such and such song but make it about paws?)
there is a secret santa going on in the main thread, so i dont think we should do that o xo;;
avatar contests
white elephant gifts? maybe? i'd have to look up the rules, there is a game to it.

I wanted to do a splatoon style snowball event, but I wouldn't know how to pull that off without some self reporting.
I ran a tree decorating contest last year if you want that. If not, I can do the avatar contest. I'll buy the RIG tomorrow for prizes I guess.

Like it would a snowball throwing event with red v green where people would quote who they want to hit and roll dice to hit them. People would gain points for hits and they could gain turf by just posting on the page (Like if red team had more posts on a page, they get it) There would be prizes for the top hitters, as well as a raffle for both teams (top terf team would get more entries than the loser team though)

As for the tree decorating contest thing, I would do it from Gaia's home feature as not to alienate people who don't do christmas trees irl and they would just take screenshots.
I would love to do a white elephant. I was thinking about one and how it would work out with Paws. I figure people could send in their present to a mule for it. (Def dressed up as a white elephant, okay)
We'd generate a list to see who goes first and what not.
White Elephants are generally junk, so people can just throw in whatever item from their inventory that they don't want.
I don't know what kind of house rules we should make though, ie how many times each gift can be stolen max.
I just know the person who starts also gets the very last turn.

I think I'm going to drop this in favor of a simple page number thing (Like top poster every ten pages). I have pretty busy job that takes up most of my time, so I need something easy to manage. I'm still able to do the tree contest and maybe the avatar contest if nobody else wants to do that. I have 25 Pawty Patrols to give away, as well as a few other surprise prizes.
