Well, the bad news first:
My Endocrinologist left the facility he was with. I am now back at square one. No meds down the line after my prescription runs out, and no doctor to prescribe them.
This leads to problem two:
New Endocrinologist wants me to get a letter of approval from a therapist. I already did that before, and can't afford the time,etc... to get the next one to believe me. Convincing someone of something you already know is sometimes hard as hell.
Problem three:
If and when I get into the next one... $200 for the first visit. $100 for each subsequent visit. This is a dent where I don't need it.
Now for the good news:
I've gotten the previous place to give me a few months worth of prescriptions for BOTH my medications. I also have the new doctor willing to accept a note from the previous one instead of a random therapist.
All this means is that I will be broke, longer. Le Sigh.
