Is it considered normal, when a game completely freezes up?
The reason I'm asking this, I recently purchased a brand new 500GB PS3, been trying to play the game:
Dragon Age - Inquisition
I'll be involved in either traveling to a new location on foot, engaged in a fight and the game will completely lock up. Freeze frame, no sound, nothing. I've even waited before having to reset my PS3.
My PS3 console has informed me that the file(s) could be corrupted and does a scan check. Everything seems to work, then the game crashes again. Seriously, what is going on??? Is something wrong with the game???
I am completely at a loss here.

It was doing that when my sister's husband first got it. That bug was supposed to be patched months ago.
For this one, I'd say it's pretty normal, but bad. The developers, I feel, really didn't think everything through prior to release and a lot of gamers suffered for it.Try updating for a game patch?
