About Me
Favorite Color: Dark Blue
Weapon of Choice:
Loyalty: a massive suit of mechanized armor, designed after the armored sailing ship taken into naval battle by his father. It's incredibly bulky, and can take many hits. The armor is also equipped with three small, but high powered cannons inside: two in the arms, and one inside the dragon head on the chest. This armor has three major drawbacks, though. When wearing it, Yi becomes incredibly slow, and his cannons have a limited pool of ammo. Six shots per cannon. The third weakness is electrical attacks, being able to short it out and render it immobile for a short time. Also, if the cannons are damaged in mid-shot, the armor will take a good amount of damage from the backfire. If the armor takes too much damage, Yi will have to get out of it and fight with only his sword.
Crane's Wing: A simple Korean-inspired curved sword. Yi prefers to fight at a distance, but he'll draw this blade if enemies get too close or he runs out of ammo.
Auras/ Semblances:
Seafarer: Having years of sailing experience, Yi's senses are extremely heightened, including his senses of sound and smell. His hearing is incredibly strong, and can pick up strange noises from miles away.
Martial Lord: In desperate times, Yi emanates an aura of determination that motivates others and gives them a boost in power. It only lasts one minute, but even a minute can turn the tide in battle.
Likes: Sailing, fighting, his homeland of Kuroshima, fishing, studying history.
Dislikes: Failure, letting others down, being lied to, losing, corrupt officials.
Bio The people of the island of Kuroshima live peacefully among the neighboring islands, making a living off of fishing and trade. They enjoyed decades of peace due to the efforts of the local Huntsmen and militia, led by Chen Seong-Kwon, Yi's father. Chen's forces kept bandits and ocean-dwelling Grimm away from the shores of Kuroshima for years, and Yi wanted to be just like him. One day, a massive Leviathan Grimm came up from the sea and attacked his father's ship. No one survived. Yi was left to led the militia, but the island council kept him from taking his father's place until he was properly certified to be a huntsman. Yi went to Beacon, eager to become a great warrior and leader, and become worthy of filling his father's shoes.
Favorite Fairy Tale: Yi doesn't let fairy tales and legends dictate his decisions. He is inspired by history, and wishes to become a historic figure of combat. (He's also inspired by Admiral Yi Sun-sin, an actual Korean war hero who defended his homeland from Japanese forces with devastating efficiency on the sea.)
