With so many to choose from, how can you just have one favorite character?
List your top 5 favorite Naruto characters

I have an abundance of love for so many characters, but here's my top 5.
1. Itachi Uchiha
I loved him as a villain, I loved him as a hero.
2. Kakuzu
Too real.
3. Naruto Uzumaki
I don't hate him as much as I do most other protagonists.
4. Konan
The real deal.
5. Kaguya Otsutsuki
I get shivers every time, best villain; most creepy.

1. Jiraiya
He didn't even want to be a ninja dude was complete pacifist and just wanted to write. I can respect that. Also has the distinction of being the only character to make Itachi drop his s**t and run at the prospect of a fight. 10/10 would husbando.
2. Sakura
b***h knew what she wanted from day one and didn't d**k around stuttering and passing out and s**t. I kinda wish she would've wanted Naruto instead because her bull-headed determinism with his would have made them a city-smashing army-wrecking battle couple making every other village their b***h. The only reason she's not number 1 is because she activates doormat mode whenever Sasuke's around. 9/10 would waifu her and her precious daughter away from dickwad husband.
3. Rock Lee/Maito Gai
They're pretty much the same character since Lee never got the chance to crawl out of Gai's shadow. But Gai get's to be here because he got to put his foot through Madara's ribcage when the collective ninja army couldn't do s**t. He just wanted it bad enough. 10/10 would employ as personal trainer for life
4. Itachi
I wanted him to be number 2 because he's selfless as ******** and has not acted on his own interest even once in-series but he also didn't kill Sasuke so I have to take some points off for that. 8/10 would start small business with but withhold most of the shares.
5. Tobirama
Saw the Uchiha plague for what they were. he didn't stop them, but dammit he tried and that's more than anyone else did. 10/10 would conquer small country with.

Itachi
Specifically because he's just an overall awesome guy. His love and and desire for peace is what makes him amazing.
Naruto
He's dumb, but he's still lovable.
Gotta love his ambition tho.
Kakashi
Ninja still gonna hide his face tho. Gotta admire his devotion to secrecy.
He's also really skilled.
Rock Lee
Great optimism. He's an inspiration to all with bushy brows or folks who can't get a girl. Cause ya know, he ends up getting a girl pregs, so there is hope!
Tobirama
He's known all along that them damn Uchihas were up to no good and were also vermin. Gotta admire his ability to see things from a logical perspective.

Ok you did better this time. But jiraiya was a badass but itachi couldve taken on jiraya pretty well. But I'm still not ok with your comment on Tsunade. She probably is the only reason you lived throughout the series...

1.Iruka
One of the few adults who first came to Naruto's defense and believed in him. He wasn't just a teacher for Naruto, he was an older brother and a father figure.
I love their scenes together.
2.Jiraiya
He was a great character. Strong, passionate and completely entertaining.
3.Yamato
TBH, I thought he was a better leader for Team 7 than Kakashi was. He really put in the work. It's too bad a lot of his overall history was spent inside fillers.
And that wood jutsu is amazing. Dude rebuilt the village after Pain wrecked the place. And after being misplaced in the plot, I thought he deserved a better ending than what he got.
4.Itachi Uchiha
A great villain/hero.
The only Uchiha I don't dislike.
5.Shikamaru Nara
A respectable ninja, a genius, and an A+ friend.
Thank goodness he was lucky enough to be in the healthiest end game relationship after the series ending. (Even though Temari looked depressed af.)

These two need their own spin-off series where we can laugh at their married life shenanigans.
Kakashi
Yeah, I know what I said about him under Yamato's section, but that doesn't mean I don't think he's an overall decent character.

He had such a minor role that I bet people don't even know who this guy is.

1. Yamato.

There is literally no reason to dislike him.
NONE.
2. Hashirama Senju
I just adore him.
Heart of gold, gracious, humble.
Total boss.
3. Naruto Uzumaki
I lied in my introduction. Hashirama just barely pulls ahead of Naruto for me.
Hated him at first, but he became so much easier to tolerate in Shippuden
and started following a character motif along the lines of
Goku and Yusuke (Yu Yu Hakusho - watch it), two of my other favorites.
He's a little lower because he was such a brat in part 1.
4. Might Guy
Following with the heart of gold theme,
Guy is the best sensei we see in the series
and he dealt with sooooooo much of Kakashi's s**t
and didn't give up on him, even though he totally should have.
5. Killer Bee
He's the only jinchūriki we have seen with mature coping mechanisms.
Hell, he's one of the only characters to face adversity that had mature coping mechanisms from the beginning.
Granted, Naruto and some other's ended up fully adjusted,
but he was the only one who really dealt with s**t well right away.
Especially comparing him to people like Sasuke, Madara, Obito (Uchihas in general),
he's a ******** saint.

I personally think that no matter what happened, Jiraiya would forgive Tsunade for it - and vice versa if the opposite happened. They were both really great characters!
I'd like us to take a step back and realize what we're talking about here are just characters we really like. sweatdrop I mean, I understand where you're coming from; if someone hated on Itachi too I'd be really sad. But then again, he made a lot of mistakes and did a lot of bad things too, along the way, as a result, and that's sorta why people would very much dislike him. I personally think it's great that all the characters are at least more than one dimensional, don't you think? 3nodding Understanding why someone doesn't like something doesn't always mean we're agreeing with them. We could learn to love that character's flaws too, and allow others to love them over time. That's what I think. emotion_yatta
