Meet Captain Ariiya Middleton of Air Ship 4, Special Ops Division. She and her crew were the ones you called when things went sour in missions against Varuga and Kafta. Normally whenever someone was injured, they were supposed to call them but they werent very well liked, espeically by Air Ship 1. Something to do skill and wanting to be superior, she didnt understand, nor cared. She was there to work, not make friends and socialize.
The young air captains navy eyes narrowed as the whiny voice on the other end of the line seemed to start rambling about things that didnt need to addressed. Did he not recognize that this was a company line? Not one to gossip on, espeically about new recruits. "So yeah, what time are you going to be at the new recruit ceremony? You cant ditch this one! Besides they are all so cute, you have to see them!" said Yogi happily on the other end of the phone. Ariya could only pinch the bridge of her nose in annoyance. Yogi was nice guy and all, but his personality was just...out there. "Yogi. I thought this was an emergency. I specifically told you to call me on here if there was an emergency."
The phone went silent for a moment before the blonde hyperactively started speaking again. "I forgot...But still ill see you at the ceremony, ok?" he shouted and hung up before Ariya had a moment to respond. "W-what!" she called out but the line had gone dead. "Damn it, Yogi!" she said frustrated before making the phone dissipate into thin air. She had no plans on going to the new recruit ceremony. She never did which made the higher council rather upset, but now it seemed she would have to show her face because Yogi would soon start to spread the word that she was going. And if she didnt show?...Oi she did not want to think about that.
"Ready my coat, please?" she asked kindly to one of her subordinates and fixed the golden crown of some sorts that rested upon her head. Maybe she could make a quick appearance and then leave? Yeah, that sounded like a plan.

Ariya wasnt sure as to why they decided to hold entrance ceremony in a hospital, but it seemed like that was the only place that had the space. Oh Dr. Araki must have been pissed. Making her way down the hall, her cape and long navy hair fluttered behind her. Her hand was rested on the hilt of her long blade and she seriously walked down the rest of the way and into one of the meeting room. Eyes were immediately drawn to her and she lightly bowed. It seemed that she had arrived a bit early. Damn! "Captain Ariya Midd-" "ARIYA! YOU CAME!" yelled out the happy blonde that came charging at her and cutting her off mid sentence. "Hey! w-watch it!" she exclaimed and braced herself for the impact that almost knocked her on her feet. "Its nice to see you! We really wish you came to these more often!" Yogi said excitedly. "No we dont." said Kichii flatly that made the girl frown and smile sarcastically. "Trust me. I wouldnt even if they paid me to."
Yogi looked between the two worriedly and frowned. "Guys. Lets not fight! I hate when we do that!" he whined and looked over to Ariya with a smile. "Come sit with us." he said excitedly and began pulling her over to where his fellow crew members were sitting. Of course the girl was trying to fight her way out of it. "Yogi! I would like to sit by myself!" she struggled before being pushed into an empty seat next to a white haired boy. He looked happily up at her and she could only frown back. Before she could ask him what he was so happily staring at, the higher council presented themselves.
Everyone immediately stood up and bowed in respect before being asked to sit down. "As you know we have a couple new recruits that need to be placed on appropriate Air Ships. Do your best to make a good impression." said a member of the high council before calling out a couple people. Ariya could only mumble to herself. She didnt want any more people on her ship, but that really wasnt up to her. As the new recruits began to file out, her eyes fell upon a girl. She was one of 2 in the entire group and looked to have a lot of promise. "Interesting..." she whispered to herself. So far there were only three of them in the entire field. Another wouldnt hurt.
"Young lady! State your name and glance upon the 3 Air Ship Captains before you. You will be living with the person you choose, so i advice you choose wisely." stated the council. Talk about no pressure. Yeah right.

 Sky stood as still as she could be as the new recruits each said their speech and why they should be accepted on the air ship they wanted. she could help but giggle at how hyper the blonde boy was acting she stood and watched him greet each member that join his airship. then thought to herself i sure feel bad for those new recruits if that is their ships captain but in away he is kinda cute maybe i'll say hi to him after the ceremonyas time passed it was soon Sky's turn to speak she gluped a little before addressing Ariya saying I'd like to join your air ship ma'dam i have heard wonderful tales about it and if you'd would i'd be greatly honored to be a member of it."she said with a small bow showing respect.  Hirato sat and watched each new recruit explain why he or she wanted to join his air ship he would say a simple "Sorry your not why we're looking for." to anyone he didn't want on his airship and send them away the few lucky ones that did get accepted was then greeted by the bubbly blonde helper of his Yogi.

It seemed like a lot more people these days had the physical ability to join Circus. Things had definitely changed from when she first started. Way back when. It was sad to see that the few people that chose Air Ship 1 were all declined due to Kichii being stupid. Apparently she wanted to be the only one that was the best. That being said, Jiki didnt say anything to stop her final decisons so he fell in the same boat as well. Stupid Air Ship 1. Why didnt Tsukitashi say anything? Wasnt he the captain?
Her eyes slowly went to Air Ship 2's captain, Hirato. Hirato was an interesting one. Everyone claimed that he had some ulterior motive, but from what Ariya had witnessed, he wasnt all that bad of a guy. He was patient and cared for all his recruits, even the two that werent even Circus members. If anything she considered him...special? Was that the word she wanted to use? He didnt seem to be any more lenient with picking and choosing whom he wanted aboard his ship. Damn, no one was being nice today were they?
Ariya's thoughts were soon derailed when the young girl known as Sky approached her asking if she could join her ship. Taken aback, she could only look at the girl up and down. Could she handle the physical work that they had to do on a daily basis? Plus there line of work was more dangerous and...hands on, to say the least. Ariya's navy eyes scanned over the girl once more before opening up her file. "Special Ops is dangerous work. Only the elite make it here." Ariya said articulately, making Kichii scoff a bit. The girl did her best to ignore the sarcasm and continued her speech. "You have to be strong, quick willed and intelligent. From your charts it says that you excelled in all those categories, but im asking you as a captain; Do you think you have what it takes to be in Special Ops?" she asked as she handed the girl her file back.
Ariya was willing to take the girl in under her wing. She needed a combat fighter since she ended up running the other one away. But that being said she wasnt about to let a girl on her ship that she was going to have to take care of.

Yogi as well listened to all the recruits though was a bit sad that Captain Hirato turned down all his favorite choices. Man, everyone was being picky this time around. Well, they couldnt afford to have slacking members. Circus needed strong independent people, not children that needed to be babysat. "You could have at least been a bit more nice to them?" Yogi said to his captain as he looked over to one of the girls that approached Ariya. A large smile appeared on the boys face as he walked over to the navy haired girl and gave her a smack on the back, a hard one, that almost sent the girl flying foward.
"I think you made a great choice in choosing a captain!" Yogi said to the new recruit, happily. "Ariya is one of the hardest workers we have here. Not to mention she is super strong and a weapons engineer. If there is anything you ever need to know about anything weapon related, she's the one to call!" Ariya grumbled as Yogi's large hand kept smacking her in the back. "Dont you have your own recruits to talk to? Leave mine alone." she said rather annoyed. "Nonsense! Plus im on your ship a lot of the time too so its best to get to know everyone!" Yogi said happily. "My name is Yogi! Im on Air Ship 2. Its very nice to meet you!"
Ariya pushed the boy away, making him whine some. "Yes, its best to avoid him. Its been said that if you hang out with him for long periods of time, you become dumber." she said a bit annoyed.

Hitaro glared at yogi who was flirting with every cutie he saw and scold "Yogi instead of flirting with every girl you see why don't you greet our new recruits and help them feel at home by offering them some of the sweets and tea i bought for them?" he then walked over to the young girl and bowed ashamed that yogi had ruin the girls lovely speech before saying "i'm terribly sorry that Yogi ruin your wonderful speech but please don't let his rudeness stop you from continuing"Sky blushed as Yogi walked up to her grabbing her hand and gave her a warm welcoming "oh why thank you Sir but i believe i know how to address an airship captain. Also you should listen to captain Ayria as well as Captain Hitaro and greet your own members" she said with a small smirk trying to impress the air ship captains

More like annoyed her. “Don’t worry about it. That’s just Yogi.” She said and turned her attention to the new recruit. A bit taken aback at her sassiness, it brought a smile to her lips. Oh she liked this girl. “Welcome to Air Ship 3.” She commented with a smirk and made Yogi hang his head low in sadness. “Why does everyone hate me?” he whined making Ariya smile. “That’s a better suited question for Air Ship 1.” She responded with her own sass as Kichii seemed to complain about how the other two were able to recruit people. Maybe she did go a bit too hard.
Standing up, Ariya smoothed out her dress and looked down at Sky. She hadn’t realized how much taller she was than her. Well, she was much taller than most girls so it didn’t bother her too much. “Gather your things. When you are ready, meet me at the platform. Ill give you a tour of Air Ship 3 and get you situated.” Ariya said down to the girl before turning a heel and trying to walk away. Of course Yogi wasn’t going to make it that easy.

Even Yogi was taken aback by both captain Hirato and Sky’s sass and it made him rather down in the dumps for a few moments. When Ariya had told him to ask Air Ship 1 why he was so hated, he laughed nervously and stepped back. “No thanks!” he said and looked over to Ariya and Sky. So it seemed like she had taken a new apprentice. Maybe Ariya was starting to open up just a bit more. “We should celebrate!” be blurted out, blocking Ariya so she wouldn’t leave. “Celebrate what? Get out of my way!” she was started to get irritated. “Celebrate the new crew members! We should have a dinner!” he exclaimed excitedly. Ariya was less than thrilled. “Move.” She said flatly.
Yogi wasn’t one to give up, especially when Ariya became antisocial. “Oh come on! It will be fun! We can have it on your ship! DINNER ON AIRSHIP 3!” he called out to everyone. “There will be no dinner on my ship!” she yelled out, obviously annoyed with the boy. “Too bad! You have no say! Even Captain Hirato agrees.” And pointed to the purpled haired gentlemen. “See you at dinner!” he exclaimed before running away so she didn’t kill him. “Yogi!” she yelled after him. Just what in the hell was up with that kid!?

Sky was thrilled that she got accepted to the airsip and hugged the first person near her which strangely was Yogi and hide her face in his chest screaming screams of happiness. which made everyone look at her like she had gone mad. she the let the blonde boy go and looked away blushing like mad. only to hear him saying something about a dinner party. "wait what did i do to get a dinner party and i don't hate you i just don't like how your taking your job so likely anyone of us recruits would be honored to have your job"

Yogi hid behind Hirato and watched as Ariya angrily stormed away, saying obscene things under her breath about the boy. Because of him now she had to host some stupid dinner party and she wasn’t looking forward to it. As long as those stupid people from Air Ship 1, excluding Tsukitashi, didn’t show up she would be ok with it. Oh well, now was just a waiting game where she would wait for Sky to get ready so she could take her back to the ship.
On the other hand, Yogi couldn’t help but smile brightly at the girls happiness for getting accepted. “You are lucky. Ariya normally doesn’t take new recruits. Well not since…”The boys voice trailed off, his demeanor changing a bit before another pretty blonde approached and cut him off. “Its best we don’t talk about the past, especially when it really inst our business.” Said the girl. Bowing lightly, she looked over at Sky. She had potential, that’s for sure. Perhaps that’s why Ariya took her in. “My name is Tsukumo.” She said introducing herself. “Wait!” spoke up a dark haired boy with goggles. “You cant just start a story and not tell us the rest!” he said angrily. Yogi could only scratch his head nervously. “Perhaps it would be best if you ask Ariya, Gareki.” he responded. Tsukumo was right. It was a touchy subject and if anyone wanted to know about it, it would have been best to ask Ariya herself.
Gareki grumbled and now his curiosity was peaked. He hated when that happened but perhaps it would give him a bit of insight on the girl. It must have been something tragic since no one wanted to talk about it.. “Fine.” He said rather annoyed and Yogi returned to his much chipper self. “But enough about that! You should run along and get ready. Ariya will be waiting for you! We shall all see you at dinner!” he said waving to her. Tsukumo bowed once more in agreement and Gareki could only scoff.

Sky was confused on what Yogi meant by Ayira not accepting any new members but figured it was best to take Tsukumo's advice and not ask questions unless she felt like Ayira could trust her completely. she then notice a black haired boy and notice he was kinda cute but much to young for her. maybe i'll ask Ayira to tell me what happen so i can tell you all the full story one day. she then noticed Ayira storming off and ran off after her.

She wasn’t sure why she recruited Sky. Ever since Ryuunosuke had passed everything was just a complete disaster. When was she going to let that go? It had happened 5 years ago, yet the wound felt so fresh. She supposed the pain would never go away. It would always linger. She only hoped that it would subside just a bit though. It really had put her on the edge ever since it had happened.
Hearing footsteps running after her, she stopped and turned around, thinking it was Yogi about to harass her. Surprisingly it was only Sky and Ariya could only raise an eyebrow. “Sky? What is the matter?” she asked.

Sky was out of breath by the time she had caught up to Ariya but said "sorry to scare you captain but i figured it be best to follow you back to the airship so i could greet all the members and find my new room. also yogi said that you hardily recruit people is that true?" she ask kinda curios as to if that was true or not.

And why the hell was Yogi going about saying things that had nothing to do with him. As much as she wanted to tell the girl to back off and not ask questions, it was in her right to know. Besides it wasn’t like she was asking what had happened. That wouldn’t have been something she took very lightly.
Ariya sighed as she placed her hands on her hips. This girl was something though. She was either really confident or extremely stupid to be so blunt and want to ask so many questions off the bat. “He is right. I don’t recruit many people. My division isn’t as tame as Airship 1 and 2. Its hard work and only a select amount of people can do the job.” She said slowly as she looked out the window of the hospital. “We are essentially the people who go in if the others cant handle it. Meaning we risk our lives to protect everyone else.” The sad reality was that not everyone was able to be saved.
Feeling a pain in her chest, Ariya took a deep breath before turning a heel and walking away. “I tried to recruit someone to be my combat fighter a year or two back, but he was so stupid I scared him off.” It was truly the biggest mistake of her life. The question was, was she making another one. Ryuunosuke. Please tell me that what im doing is wise…she thought to herself before stopping and looking back to Sky. “Don’t make me regret my decision, please.” She said before entering a room where she looked for Dr. Akari. The way she stated her statement to Sky almost sounded worried and pained. What was up with that?
"Dr. Akari." greeted Ariya as she entered the room and was greeted by a rather handsome looking doctor. "Ariya. Its nice to see you. You normally dont come to these sort of things." he commented almost with a growl. Only because he didnt want to be there much either. "Yes, well, i was dragged." she stated as she gestured to Sky. "Meet my new combat fighter, Sky. Im sure you will be seeing her around here a lot." she said as she introduced the girl. Dr. Akari blinked in surprise as he looked over to the girl then back at Ariya. "Do you think you are ready for that? Ever since...you know." he asked. Ariya could only shrug. "At this point i dont have much of a choice. The head council was on my a**. Plus, Sky here has a good head on her shoulders." she stated and gave the girl a gentle pat on the shoulder.
Dr. Araki nodded. "Yes, well its very nice to meet you. Speaking of recruitment, did Hirato give you that folder containing the information you requested?" Ariya shook her head. "No. I just saw him too." Dr. Akari's eye twitched in anger. "Of course he didnt. Idiot. I should have just waited and given it to you myself." Ariya covered her mouth to stifle a laugh. Everyone though of Araki as a stuck up doctor who was mean and took his job too seriously. But deep down he was a nice man and was dedicated to the work he did. If it wasnt for that hard work, they wouldnt have gotten far with there research on Varuga's.
"Well i know how much you dont like working with people and are more of a 'do it on your own' kind of person but with the new information we received and the breakthroughs we have been accomplishing it had been decided that everyone was to be paired with another ship. Meaning you and Hirato better start becoming buddy buddy." he informed. Ariya could only groan. "Ive solved more cases on this damn Varuga thing and I need a partner? This is dumb!" she expressed and placed her hands on her hips. "Well...that being said, youre our only Weapons Specialist..we cant afford to lose you...as well. Hirato can protect you." Dr. Akari said, threading his fingers in his pastel pink hair. Ariya was rather insulted.
"I dont need protecting, especially not from Hirato. Have him protect Yogi." she claimed, her navy eyes narrowing some. "Dont let him hear you say that." Dr. Akari stated with a bit of a smile and looked over to Sky. "I do hope that you enjoy Airship 3. Ariya is great and she will teach you a lot." Ariya frowned. "Also, make sure you brief her on whats going on so we dont have to worry too much about her in the field." he said to Ariya. She merely nodded. "I know."
