Good to see you aren't enjoying your no mercy run... The only advice I can offer is just not getting lost in the music. Also... Don't attempt a true pacifist run after this. You'll... Er... To put it spoiler free, you'll regret it.
I'll just leave it at this... Chara is very serious.
Anyway, I found an interesting thing on Tumblr. It's kinda long, so I'll put it under a spoiler thing.
I just had the freakiest undertale dream/nightmare and I wanted to share it now before I have time to forget. I’m playing the game like normal, shooting for a no mercy run. There are a few things different in this play through, such as sans is alot more present and chuckles very dryly when he sees what your doing complete with actually audible chuckling; but I don’t fully register at the time thats different. (It’s a dream whatever) Then I get to the fight with Undyne the Undying. For the most part its the same. However there were “acts” to attempt to talk her down (I think in the actual game all you had was check.) I tried it out of curiosity and naturally she ain’t having any of it. Then before I can make my next move, I get called away from my desk for a moment to quickly do something. I left it on the battle menu for a good couple minutes. When I got back, apparently the game registered this as an action: doing nothing. Undyne started to believe me and reverted back to her regular self in tears saying she’s finally understanding what Papyrus was telling that anyone can be a good person if they just try. She breaks down in tears saying that this whole time you’ve been doing this and she didn’t stop it sooner makes her feel so worthless. Helpless even. Now I’m here thinking “holy crap I never knew you could do this! Sure! Forget the no mercy run! Let’s see where this goes!” Happy that I don’t have to fight her undying form. But when she said she felt helpless, that’s when it got freaky. The music shifted to a much more sinister tone, I heard the character brandish their knife, and in Undyne’s moment of openness the character shrikes her down as the screen faded white and you hear her scream. I didn’t make that happen. I didn’t want that to happen. Chara took control from me and killed her when they had the chance. I was horrified, stepping away from the screen and my arms shaking. The i woke up. This must be what Frisk must feel like on a no mercy run. That was…awful.

heart tbh the only reason im having a Bad Time is to see how far i can go with my savefile trickery... im going to attempt to cheat Chara out of my soul >:3 heart hearti know almost every possible ending. we're still finding out some more on the dataminer portion of the fandom heart

I'm in the same place as you lol I'll give you some advice, Her arrow patterns are the same each round EXCEPT the third round. Also the slow arrows WILL NOT trick you, pay close attention to the red ones
