GATHERING NECESSITIES-again
You know what was Terrible? Not having the internet. At first it was just boring, but now it was that nagging feeling, that back of his mind questioning if he really was better off without social media. As a intern, he didn't get to do much, but as a reporter in training? Social media was vital, and now after so long he felt like a man dying of thirst. What were they saying on the outside. Was there an outside anymore? Were servers even up? Did anywhere have any sort of communication? It was a gamble to say yes and have hope, a gamble to say no and have no hope at all. A question that couldn't be answered, and was better off not asked, not thought about.
Still, he wondered. He wanted to know what others had going on, what they thought, as words flowed so easily on face book feeds, twitter, tumblr, hell he'd even be fine with looking at grindr profiles at this point. Anything that might shed a light on it all. Though, Grindr might have just been d**k pics. Probably could live without grindr then. But that was probably a good thing. Less dicks in the world. Figurative dicks anyway. Digital dicks? Whatever, there were zombie about, he had better things to do than worry about the world state of affairs and how many d**k pics existed on an internet that might or might not be down.
One thing he should have been concerned about was gathering umbrellas for the reasons he still didn't quite get but were apparently needed to show he wasn't all lumpish and just existing to exist and complain about lack of memory or a charge on his DSLR. Which was a very real problem like, how was he supposed to live and spread the images of terror he'd witnessed if he had no photos? A man doesn't just grab a prize for most picks not taken at worlds fair or whatever contest he happened to be entering.
