Hey guys! Its been a loooong time since we've held any giveaways
Halloween is coming up (it will be here before you know it!)
Just wondering if we're still going to make another even thread?
I have some items stocked up to give away, just in case!

Sure! II just have to advise you that the richest person account won't be taking donations as it is difficult to maintain. Any ideas for theme?

Any ideas for theme? the only theme i can think of is, "Halloween" :'D but let me ponder on it a bit more i can help out and make banners i do have some prizes stashed away so i can do another giveaway

Vandalizing houses with tp and eggs or collecting candy in fun costumes?

Darksp I've been thinking of some possible themes: -A Very Spoopy Halloween: a goofy Halloween with lots of tumblrisms. -Scooby Doo: A bunch of mystery solving animals with their human friend solve mysteries -Murder Mystery: someone is the murderer and keeps killing off paws! -Terror: Actually scary stuff -Trick Vs Treat: What's more fun? Vandalizing houses with tp and eggs or collecting candy in fun costumes? i like the idea of a murder mystery and the trick vs treat

I like the sound of trick vs treat.
But I don't know how it would go about playing that?

maybe they have to pick trick or treat? and depending on what they pick (maybe there's dice involved?) depends on what they win? Maybe it can be a on going game where you earn points? and at the end, they gather up all their points and base prizes on that?

I havea couple questions..
gaia_spoons Is there going to be a drawn board that everyone can see and if so are there going to be little pins for everyone as they move along the board?

Like they roll the die and then if they land on an "activated" (as apposed to a plain square that does nothing) they get read a card?
gaia_spoons (I just scrolled through your trick or treat board game thread and going off of my card and die thoughts-) Should they RNG and say in their post either "Trick" or "Treat" to determine what happens?
Say treat for instance, they RNG a number and depending on what number they could recieve a card that says something like "You rang the doorbell and nobody was home. Pass up one turn" or "The old man down the road gave you toothpaste instead of candy. You move on with no new points" and of course some will give candy as well. Like the crazy cat lady gives you TWO candies instead of one. Etc.
And for trick could be things like "Uh-oh, you woke up the house. They chase you back three squares" or "The police show up go back to start". Obviously they can't all be bad otherwise nobody with pick trick (I just cant think of anything at the moment for trick).
gaia_spoons There could also be random squares with pros and cons like "Boo! A ghost jumps out and scares you. You miss one turn" or "you find an abandoned bag of candy. +3 candy."
gaia_spoons There could be arias too with their own pros and cons. Like festive neighborhoods who give out twice the candy and dark forests where you wander lost until you land on a square where a stranger leads you out.
Things like that?

I was thinking about making a board and making markers for the players

I could! I know im using dice, but cards would work for mini events i have planned.

That's pretty much what it is, I show the house, tell a little bit about the house they're at, and they decide if they want to Trick them or get a Treat. They roll, and depending on what number they get, determines the outcome.
There could be random events where they approach a dark house (no lights on) and then they can decide what they want to do. Or something else, like finding other treaters or something. I haven't planned out all the mini events yet.

Yeah I have some festive and not so festive people in mind for the players to encounter.
