It's gaudy, it's an eyesore, but to the current Duchess of Wonderland, it is a work of art. His magna opus—the construction he put most of his time and money into after his mama dearest decided to wander off and never return from whatever otherland she decided to go to. Though it pales in comparison to the Queen of Spades's castle in size and region, Aine's palace still is remarkably large, and sticks out like a sore thumb near the Caterpillar's forest. During the day, it looks like a painter's palate smeared with too many colors, but by night, it lights up like a star from the heavens fell to Wonderland's soil and continued to burn. The peace of night is always interrupted on the Duchess's property because there is always a party, always something to revel about. However, this happiness seems to only be seen in party goers and reflected in odd contrast to Aine who's haughty attitude is never far away. Only to crack a smile when something does please him, the Duchess will give you the cold shoulder, but come and go as you please from his home as long as no damage is done. Heck, even if there is, a servant or two can clean that right up. Just don't insult his art; it may be jarring to you, but it is beauty to him, and it is quick way to get oneself escorted off his property.
