it's nice to know what people's favorite songs are, and why... but there's always a good chance no one knows what the hell you're talking about. so here's the thread for posting your favorite song(s), why you love it, and the lyrics!

My favorite song at the moment is "I've Seen All Good People" by Yes. I love the way the beginning and end have almost no relation to the middle, and it's got one of my favorite lines ever ("Don't surround yourself with yourself.") It's got a really happy sound and the harmonies are wonderful.

right now my favorite song is Big Long Now by Nirvana
every time i look up the lyrics i get differnt ones for the same song, so if this isnt right thats why.
