Cody Rivera is a scientist, working on a few formulas to help families who can't have children normally. He himself is one such person who is sterile, so he was using his dna in the serum to test to see if it can be possible to help a person become able to have children. Cody was working on bringing some things home when he discovered a little kitten that was homeless and young. He took her in and took care of her, treating her like family. One day he had brought the serum he was testing on to work but when he had thought he had closed the door, the kitten got in and had knocked over the serum onto herself by accident. Cody returned to his lab when he heard a noise, only to find that the kitten had turned into an anthro due to his human dna mutating her with the serum. He was surprised but was even more surprised she saw him as her father, but he happily took her as his daughter, knowing she would need one now that she was part human.

Cody was in the other room when he heard her meowing, he thought that it sounded off but seeing that it was coming from his office, he gasped and rushed in, seeing her covered a bit in the serum, he gasped as he went to her but she was changing, "Heather... um... hold on!?" He said as he went and picked her up, but rushed her to a sink where he began to try washing the serum off of her but it was too late as she continued changing.

Cody saw that she soon stopped changing now that she looked like a mix because a cat and a human. He looked at the anthro but was even more shocked when she spoke and hearing what she called him as she looked at him, he was shocked, "Heather... are you okay?" he asked softly, looking at what had been his cat.

Cody looked at how she called him daddy again but he gently noticed that she was purring. He was surprised but he gently picked her up and dried off her fur but held onto her. He wasn't sure what to do with her but let her snuggle up to him, "Can you understand me?" he asked hoping to see her nod.

Cody looked at her when she nuzzled to him but seeing that she feel asleep, he gently held her but sighed, taking her out of the lab to his bedroom where he gently sat on the edge of the bed, gently laying her down, thinking about how he was now a father it seemed.

Cody heard her soft voice and walked to her, seeing that she was in the hallway but he knelled by her, "Its alright Heather... im here... did you sleep well?" He asked kindly to her, thinking that he had spent the time trying to figure out what had happened to her, having taken some blood and was making sure she would be okay and not harmed by the serum.

Cody looked at her when she hugged him but he heard her purring but he gently hugged her back before he noticed that she tried to tickle him. He wasn't really ticklish but he smiled, "Oh... are you trying to tickle me... you can't tickle the tickle monster." He said feeling really fatherly as he began to gently tickle her back, gently tickling her stomach playfully to make her happy with playing.

Cody smiled when she laughed, it was adorable but when she tackled him he gently smiled as he hugged her and heard what she said. The fact that she learned how to say that, must mean she is smarter or has the ability to learn a bit faster than a girl her age.
