Elysha let herself into her apartment happily after another day working as a medical clinic receptionist. But she still had studying at home to do in addition to chores before winding down for the day. She was an early high school graduate by one year due to having started kindergarten at nearly the age of four. And then, she completed her bachelors degree and her clinical sciences half of med school in the Caribbean before moving to Destiny City. Since the online masters degree program she concurrently enrolled in at the same time she began med school is still ongoing, at present, she is juggling her online course work with her job while determining if she can manage and afford to go on to the clinical sciences portion of med school.
Thus, here was another round of basic sciences review that she was transitioning into for today. She turned her desk lamp on for added light to illuminate her study desk and sat herself down to continue where she left off yesterday, reading the clinical vignette of the next question she was going to paraphrase information from as part of her learning and review process. She took note of the patient's age and other characteristics. Then, with her pen starting to move on a blank space in the sheet of paper before her, she added to her notes. Episodic leg cramps can be treated with a drug that activates GABA B receptors both in the brain and the spinal cord; the activation opening K+ channels.

Alright, she reread what she wrote and since she felt she was able to draw a good conclusion from that question, she went on to the next one and applied to it a repetition of the process she had taken on the other one before it. And she was in the swing of doing so, but then she spotted the side note she had written next to the immediately previous question. So, she consequently could not wrap her head around why she had missed said side note earlier. An example of such a drug is Baclofen. She decidedly made the note mentally as opposed to write it at first. But then, since she next noticed that she had not reach the point of writing any notes for the following question yet, she changed her mind a moment later and wrote the latest note that went through her mind. Sure, she could have just read her already existing notes. But, she discovered in the latter half of basic sciences that it helped her as part of her learning and review process to write in addition to read even it seemed redundant.
And thus, in similar fashion, her home study time continued on that day.
