A notice is put up on the board reserved for house announcements, written in crisp, black ink. Whoever wrote this has good handwriting.

      Attention fellow Lucians,

      Thank you for allowing me to be your house representative this year. As house rep, it's my job to take care of my house. And one thing I have noticed is that there is quite a bit of squabbling amongst ourselves. While you may be inclined to blame the problems on one specific person or another, keep in mind everyone is at fault here. Some people stay out too late in Justus. Some people eat everything in the fridge. Some people throw other people out of windows. We're all a little to blame.

      Therefore, I have decided that my first move as house rep will be a sit down dinner. Yes, this is mandatory. No, you cannot skip it. You will be back in the dorms and on time for dinner. (If you would like to help me in the kitchen, feel free. I am not very good at cooking.) There will be no exceptions. If you try to skip, there will be Hell to pay.

      I will see you all tonight.
