It is a very embarrasing topic, but important.
I don't know if someone had thought you this once in your life, but I learned in High School that a women hygiene is normal if the vaginal secretions are colorless and odourless. Also, many website online mention it too.
I went to see my doctor and told her that my secretions were abnormal and always have a color. After taking medications, and other appointments because the problem was still there, I asked my doctor if I should see a specialist in gynecology. So, I did.
However, the gynecologist told me that all woman had secretions and having a color is normal. It's not normal when the smell is strong and itchy. She said there's always bacteria and yeast , but it becomes problematic when there is a unbalance. I just felt totally dumb.
Extra story: I almost got hit by a car that was getting out of the parking lot. The driver kept looking at his right when I was at his left. I was angry, and told myself to calm down at least I moved away before it hit me.
She prescribed me a medication to bring back the balance of bacteria and yeast. I went to the pharmacy to get my medicine, and I argued that they forgot to put my health insurance in my bill...
I don't know how your country's health care functions, but over here no one looks happy working in health care. We are missing medical staff everywhere, so patients wait longer and the medical staff works longer, and have more stress.
