Liustraes followed the bird to where the it was taking him to, but he was also pleasantly surprised that the bird semi-understood what he asked. Then again, a lot of animals in wonderland could talk and understand English, but regardless, he was glad. It was then he saw the bird slightly change direction, which meant they were probably following a person. Meaning, they were probably taking him to be able to ask questions. When they got closer, Liustraes pulled out the note, and it was then he walked into the insect circus, at first his sight while reading the note was put into vertigo, as he was not expecting himself to change in size. Another thing that he was not used to in Wonderland. Then, the bird flew over someone's head with red hair, and they began pulling on the man's collar. He looked at the name of the person, and then the hair thinking, How amusing, this person has red hair, and the message is from the red king... So, I think it's safe to assume this is the red king. Though, it's kind of coincidental they have red hair. He looked at the red king before asking, "Mei, is it? The red king? If it is, I was wondering where I am supposed to go to watch this. I am very new to Wonderland."

Liustraes relaxed himself a bit, as he felt slightly drained because of the amount of energy he had. It was then the energetic king would talk to him rather cheerfully, shaking his hand as if he was going to tear the arm off. The man chuckled, saying, "Yeah, I kinda fell out of the sky a few days ago. Not sure exactly how long ago, but regardless, yes, it is nice to meet you. And, the battle arena is just beyond the queen of spade's castle, ugh, that sucks. I was literally just in town, then I went to that ship in a bottle. Oh well, luckily I can walk pretty fast. If I really wanted to, I could turn into an animal to get there faster anyways, but yeah, I'm just going to watch. I figure my friends are participating; I'd be kind of useful, but also kind of not. I'll need a little time to decide before I actually want to watch or participate." It was then he said something about not being afraid to ask questions, to which he smiled, and then the person asked for his name. He replied, "Ah, my name is Liustraes, but if that is too hard to pronounce; it is Luster. And, I think the only question I have is why are these two groups fighting?" The man had a stern face, as he was slightly worried about the fate of Wonderland.

Liustraes smirked as the king tried and failed to pronounce his name, and he replied, "Don't worry, most people cannot easily pronounce my name. And, a history lesson, that reminds me of a teacher from the school I used to teach at, well, anyways, I'm definitely willing to listen." The man would watch the king, as he explained the story, as the book of Alice did not really go over it, or if it did, it was in the background where Liustraes was not paying attention to when he read it. But, one thing was for certain, Liustraes was not sure who he would join. He would like to join the spades to help them, but his rationality also makes him want to join Silver for the preservation of his life. Though, he had a lingering feeling that Cortez would join the Spades, which would give him the feeling to want to join their cause. He just hoped that Silver was not all scary as they say they are, even if he knew that was a bad thing to believe. He noted the last thing Mei said, replying, "Don't worry, your secret is safe with me. I think I will join the Spades if I actually participate. Something tells me I won't regret joining them for the event, and it was smart of you to convince them to do it. Otherwise, you might have a destroyed wonderland. Other than dragons, I take it Silver is very attached to dragons, as normally, you'd see a lot more. But, I'm guessing the spade's killed a lot of dragons, I may not agree with mindless violence, but I do not believe in unfair trials, which is why I would fight for the spades."

Liustraes smirked at Mei's childish request, but he sighed holding his pinky out, gripping the other man's pinky and saying, "Okay, I pinky swear to you that I will not tell anyone." After he said that, he would ungrip the man's pinky, returning his arm back to his side, while listening to the man speak. Surely, he seemed reasonable; probably a bit childish, but he seemed to look out more for the people than himself. He replied, "That makes sense, if I had a child and a wife, I still... well, I still would kind of know how you feel, though, I would make sure I was the one fighting. I'd rather have me die." It was then Mei started talking about the prize, which did bother Liustraes, but he shook his head saying, "If people are given enough reason, they will do something. The people should not be afraid of their government; the opposite should be the case. If the dragons win, yes, they will have the advantage, but, I don't think they understand the strength some of us humans possess, even if they are strong themselves. I just say that I hope your wife isn't put up against my friend Cortez. He, is very strong. He could disintegrate me."

Liustraes sighed at Mei's talk, as he had basically had a wife, very close to one at least. So, the man talking about the lines definitely did not bring up great memories for Liustraes, especially because he saw his wife die right in front of him because she did not remember him. His wife was actively trying to kill Liustraes, which is why Cortez saw her as a threat and destroyed her. At the end of the story, Liustraes would just look down, sitting for a moment; he had not thought about the things of Solaria that really hurt him for awhile. Just allowing the pent up emotions to build and mutate more. He stated to himself, "I need some time; this whole, dragon thing is... not going to make thinking about this stuff easier. Maybe, I should join the dragon side. Maybe, but I just want to watch.... I don't know. Maybe I'll join the Spade's side. Either one probably has unnecessary blood and baggage. So, I'm probably just going to watch, it's not my fight to be in, not this time." It was then Mei began freaking out and said he had to leave, where Liustraes stated, "Tell your wife to be safe, this is not a battle that will be easy. It was nice meeting you too." It was then that he would think about whether or not he wanted to leave yet. Sure, he wanted to go see the battle, but the island memories made him want to stay here, so he could actually sort through them. Saying to himself and to anyone that was around and could hear, "Should I actually go to the fight? Should I watch? Or should I just stay here to fix my problems? Why are my problems better than the people of the town's problems? Fine... I'll just watch the fight, then sort through my problems." To that, he would stand up and walk out of the insect circus, heading to the Battle Arena, as he just wanted to watch, instead of participating.
