troll territory

User Image

User ImageUfira

---Ufira is the northern most capitol of the troll territory. While the weather is not as harsh as Trutrux, the trolls that reside in this capitol are still heartier than those in the southern areas and can withstand the cold better. They experience a wider variety of weather than their northern neighbors. However, the waters around this capitol are still very cold year round, mostly thanks to the run off from the snowy mountains.

        User ImageTutrux

---The northern most village in the troll territory, Trutrux has so of the harshest weather and climates of the land. Almost always covered in snow, there is a few brief periods of time (lasting less than a month, usually) where the snow melts and the temperatures rise enough that one does not need to be bundled up.

        User ImagePruipt Mountains

---Located on the northern most continent and to the far east, lays the Pruipt Mountain range. Unlike Tutrux, the village situated in the mountains in the west, Pruipt is always covered in snow. Not many outsiders venture up into these icy and snowy mountains because of how dangerous they are. If they do, a guide is most often hired from Tutrux. However, there are a select few who have chosen to forgo a guide though it is dangerous.

              User ImagePruipt Hot Springs

---Setteled high into the Pruipt Mountains lays a natural occurring hot spring. Take the journey up into the dangerous mountains, and survive, and you'll be rewarded with a dip into these springs (don't worry, they're not too hot that they'll burn you!). Some believe that the springs have healing properties and will cure aches and pains if you submerge yourself into them.

User Image

User ImageCodurh

---Codurh is situated next to and over the lake on the western most continent of the troll's territory. Bridges cross over the river, connecting the two sides to each other and house run along the edges at the narrow side of the lake. A few homes are scattered north, along the river that flows out of the lake. Fresh water fishing is a big staple of this capitol and, despite there being laws against intermingling, the trolls of Codurh have a close relationship with the merpeople inhabiting the lake. This capitol is probably the most welcoming, out of all the villages, to mixed race couples.

        User ImageIkesh

---Tucked back in the forests, the trolls that live in this town are a secluded bunch and tend to keep to themselves. They've learned the best ways to build their homes in trees and prefer this to being on the ground and vulnerable. You will find a few mixed race couples here that have migrated from Codurh or other areas of Osaia but there aren't many as the trolls in this village are slow to trust.

        User ImageNekuhr Moutnains

---Located on the south western continent, the Nekuhr Mountains are dry and in habitable. It is home to some of the tallest and rockiest mountains in Osaia. It has even been said that if you climb to the very top, you can catch a glimpse of the floating islands the harpies live on. These are just stories as it is very dangerous to climb to the very top, as the air becomes very thin the higher up you climb.

User Image

User ImageAdend

---Adend is the main capitol of the troll territory. If there are things to decide, leaders from the other continents travel to meet at a special place not far from Adend. The eldest troll will always reside in this capitol. The trolls of this village have a very special task --- to care and watch over the great tree that houses their crystal. Outsiders are welcomed but are treated warily and are not allowed to wander past a certain point in the village.

        User ImageSudone

---Sudone was once a thriving village that boasted a welcome to any of those of mixed race couples and anyone else that wished to reside there. However, over time tragedy struck. The few, hardy, crops that could survive the desert setting slowly began to fail and eventually the river dried up. Soon after this the village became desolate and mostly abandoned as the residents scattered to more hospitable areas. Those left behind either had no where else to go or were old and stubborn. You can still find trolls living in the mountain caves here but they're mostly just passing through. And those that are living there permanently aren't too friendly.

        User ImageAhand

---Despite the failure of Sudone, Ahand is still thriving and the lake has created a sort of oasis in the middle of the desert. This town is mostly made up of mixed couples and those who don't mind living around the other races. Back when Sudone's river dried up, Ahand had come under attack. Despite the ambush, those that lived in Ahand was able to fight back the weaker residents of Sudone.

        User ImageMezoya

---The prison of the trolls. Break enough of their laws and you'll find yourself taking up residence in this mountain prison. In order to get to this prison, a bridge and fortress must be passed through. Visitors are not allowed, though that doesn't not stop some from trying to sneak in to see their loved ones or even try to break them out. Get caught doing either of these, though, and you'll find yourself thrown in with said loved ones. The toughest and strongest trolls are sent to guard this place.

        User ImagePreinora

---Another fishing village, Preinora specializes in those catches found in the salt waters of the ocean. They are the closest village to Adend and supply said village with plenty of fish. A lot of boys from this village are sent to train in Adend, after a certain age. It seen as a privilege and some of the most known guards have been from this town.

        User ImageEkamt Mountains

---Located on the south eastern continent (on the lower section), the Ekamt Mountains are green and lush. Lay lowing mountains benifit greatly from the ocean life that lies beyond them. There are many valleys in these mountains and they could even be made into a livable habitat if one knows how to cultivate the land the right way.

User Image

User ImageEkix

---Ekix is a very remote roll village found amongst the southern islands. Despite their remoteness, they have a close relationship with Adend and are one of the villages that is on call to help protect the great tree should the need arise.

        User ImageIre Volcano

---Ire volcano is a dormant volcano that has not erupted for centuries. It is not known when exactly the last time it erupted was, as it's been so long ago, but the villagers from Ekix are ever vigilant in keeping a close eye on it. If it were to erupt, it stands to do some damage to the great tree and other surrounding areas.

mer territory

User Image

User ImageAetinea

---The northern most capitol of the merpeople is a very cold place. The surface of the water freezes over a few times a year, making surfacing for a mer impossible unless they travel farther south. Most that live in this underwater city are just fine with this and don't surface anyway.

        User ImageUmish

---The mers that live here are hearty and heftier built, allowing for their survival int he frigid waters. Umish's waters, unlike Aetinea's, are almost always frozen over. They are the most remote of the merpeople and are a rather small settlement. Most who lived here, in the past, have either passed on or moved farther south as the waters get colder and colder each year.

User Image

User ImageLayane

---Layane is the one mer capitol that has remained in one of the lakes of Osaia. They still have a close relationship with the trolls of Codurh. Older merpeople that live in Layane are less likely to venture out of the lake. The longer they remain in the fresh water, the harder it is for their body to survive in the salty ocean. If a mer leaves the lake early on, their body easily adjusts to the ocean's salt.

        User ImageRadroa

---The merpeople prison, most of Radroa is located above the ocean. Being sentenced to this place is a very harsh punishment. The prison dips below the surface, as well. The worse the crime, the higher up the prisoner is kept --- with those being held above the surface being the most dangerous. They are forced to live without their tails and kept dry and weak. One does not want to be put into this prison.

        User ImageLifica

---Tucked away into a small gulf, Lifica is a lush and plentiful mercity, despite being situated next to the dry desolate Nekur Mountains. Because of their location, their defenses against outside forces is high. The only way into their city is from the ocean, as the rest of the water is surrounded by cliffs. The merpeople from this city are trained and battle ready and are almost always the first in line when battle happens.

User Image

User ImageKauolri Reef

---Kauolri Reef is the main capitol of the merpeople. The queen resides here and is heavily guarded. The reef allows for a more hidden city, hiding the colorful mers that live here the best. The crystal that is under the mer's control is located somewhere within this city's surroundings. The exact location, however, is unknown.

        User ImageVoyica

---This mer village is a small one, tucked into a gulf in the norther part of the eastern continent. Most of the village is situated in a cave system that runs deep under the desert. It's almost like a maze and should a stranger get lost inside, they will stay lost for some time without help. This mer village probably experiences the mildest of weather and temperatures.

        User ImageSadeth

---This mer settlement is less of a village and more of a clan of misfits. It is located in one of the deepest parts of the ocean and houses a lot of unwanted merpeople --- from criminals to outcasts that didn't want to follow the queen's orders to anything in between. Normal merpeople tend to stay away from this village. Every once in a while the queen will send guards there to raid the place and try to capture as many traitors as possible.

        User ImageAikrith

---The city of Aikrith is situated in the cliff sides of the eastern continent and spreads up into the underwater mountains to the north of the main settlement. This city is home to a variety of different merpeople and some have even moved to settle on land, on the small swamp island south of their city. These merpeople have chosen to live with legs most of their life and train to fight best on the ground. They can still survive underwater and need to go below every once in a while or their scales will dry out.

User Image

User ImageIkoa

---The southern most village of the merpeople, Ikoa is home to some of the most colorful mers. They use both the waters and the smaller islands as their hunting and playing grounds. They tend to stay away from the remote troll village of Ekix, though the leader of this small mer capitol does keep in contact with the leader in Ekix. It is both villages' job to keep an eye on the volcano as an eruption from it could cause catastrophic damage to both race's villages.
