Vale of Tears: Alice cried that much? *cough* moving on this area is valley of tears as you can see the waterfall isn't water but tears you can tell by the saltiness.
Zane sat at the head of the statue as he waited for the time to come where he will meet the queen here. ' I'm sure that they wont mind that I'm out again so late or not even come home after all i sometimes travel distances just to get some items for the shop. ' Zane was playing with the wind as he was bored then he took drew out Mortem and Vitae " Et exsurge a mortuis, et ipsum velle facere." Zane drew out his hand and spirits came towards him surrounding him in great numbers. ' Test huh?' he started recalling what the queen said about a test. ' What kind of test could she be talking about?' It was the Queen of Spades after all so he knew he could not take this lightly for anything in this mad world nothing could be taken lightly.

"My you are awfully early." a soft gentle voice came from behind. How she got up there without getting notice was beyond a mystery but everything is possible in Wonderland. The white haired woman placed both hands behind her back and analyse the man in armor with her royal blue easy like a scanning device. "Aie, are you ready for the test." she said with glee and a bright smile on her face.
Zane got up calmly not really taken by surprise he didn't know the queen much so she must have some hidden powers no one knew about. " Early as the morning breeze that kicks in when there is no light" Zane gave out a grin as she smiled. " May i ask what is this test of yours composed of your majesty?" He analyzed the queen thoroughly, scanning her from head to toes rapidly, he placed the sphere back at the hilt of Vitae and the light wore out turning lifeless as the spirits continued revolving around me in white misty orbs.

The Queen snapped her fingers, "Durability is the key~" she answered with a bright smile. "It's quite simple, I want to see how much damage you can withstand before you are broken." she explained. She wasn't interest in strength, speed, power and all that just durability; so she can see which point will her toy turn useless and broken then get a new one. She clapped her hands together, "Before we start do you have any more questions~?" she asked with glee.
Zane released strain on his right hand and the spirits that were revolving around him vanished. ' Durability huh?' Zane looked at the Queen and nodded lightly. " I am ready. I will not question your methods, after-all I am the one that offered my services to you" As he said that he knelled before the queen in sign of respect, he then placed his right hand on his chest. " I will do as you command m'lady"

"Ohhh you are a brave one, I like you already~" The Queen said with a glee with a clap of her hands. She has notice the temperature has gone done and a fog is slowly emerging, she lightly bit her lips that she needed to go back to the castle soon to organise other eventful businesses. She placed a hand on her cheek while she examined the Dark Mist's armor up and down then her eyes trailed down to the ground since their on top of Alice's(the statue) head, "Alice, cries a lot...jump down into her tears." she said casually, it didn't sound much of a challenge but she wasn't finish, "Find me a ring I carelessly mess placed, it is gold with a beautiful red ruby shaped as heart. It holds dear to me." she said while sounding like a damsel in distress then her royal blue eyes darken slightly, "Don't come up until you find it." she with a closed eye smile with her hands behind her back.
Zane eyed her for a bit and grinned " I shall do as you command but next time don't try hiding things where one could never suspect, say for example having what you say you misplaced at hand or such" with that he let himself fall into the tears and stood there submerged thoughtful more than anything as he eyed the bottom for said ring. ' Hmmm she has something at hand, this endurance test is just mere child's play but if i am to gain her trust and allegiance i have to withstand all that she throws at my way. Hmm the spades i wonder what they had to do as an initiation or if they had any at all to begin with but even their ranks are illusions some choose to stay at their rank but i can tell some lower ranks are with the highers at best the three of spades. Interesting.' Thanks to his ability to control spirits he used this even when he was running out of breath to replenish a bit of his life force by absorbing theirs.

Yuki hopped off from Alice's head but she didn't totally fall as her dress was used to defy laws of gravity, anything is possible in wonderland. She simply glided/float to show as she hummed a tone until she land on both feet on the ground. She turned towards the pool of tears and walked with her hands behind her back as she slightly leaned in towards the big body of salty water, wondering how long would it be for the body to surface from lack of oxygen or found the item she has miss placed. Yes, it sound like a simple task and didn't sound life threatening unless he doesn't know how to swim and all that. She waited patience on shore for her prize.
' Hmm well i guess i should find this misplaced ring...' he swam for a bit letting out air slowly to try to make the most of it until he found the ring. ' When did she find the time to drop this here i doubt it was misplaced. This is a test after-all, but endurance i mean well... ' he gasped a bit letting out a big bubble of air then stated swimming back up slowly as the armor despite being light did limit his movement on the water a bit which was ironic since it rlly helped boost his agility and speed. After a bit he surfaced panting as he took in some air again. " Is this what you misplaced?" he said rising his hand which hold the ring she described.

Yuki moved away when the man in armor emerge from the water, she smiled widely when she caught sight of the ring in his palms. He took the ring from his hand and carefully slipped it on, the once beautiful golden ring with the beautiful shade red shaped ruby was quite...off. The ring turned a dull silver replacing the rich gold colour and the heart turned eternal dark with no sight of that beautiful radiant colour anymore. The dark heart brought out an eerie/ominous and unpleasant yet small aura sipping out of it. The ring turned to a complete opposite description the Queen gave in the beginning; it didn't sound like the kind of item you would see her wearing. "Thank you so much, I wouldn't misplace this again!" she cheered while revealing her pearl white teeth. She clapped her hands together, "That's it. Test over~"
Zane looked at her still analyzing the whole thing as he got out and the wind dried the water off him and the armor. " What was the whole purpose of this test if i may ask your majesty. You say endurance but that is not quite it all is it?" The spirits gathered around him again as his full energy came back. ' She is more than she appears as expected from the queen of spades i suppose but this uneasy feeling I've felt it before and i do not like it one bit. What is she really up to? I hope i can get in closer and find out'.

Yuki at first gave him a confused look that soon turned into realization, "Oh that... You see... What if I said I told you I was using you." she said with a smile. She waved her hands, "Yes, all this was fake and wasn't interested in your offer in the first place." she said with a wave of her hands but she didn't show any sign of disgust or anything physical to provoke him just words and a smile. "And only wanted you because I didn't want to get my dress wet, what would you do?" she asked with interest like it was a trivia question, while hiding her hands behind her back again, removing the ring from his view. She wasn't done.
Zane grinned a bit. "Well then perhaps there wouldn't be any of this, and we wouldn't be here in the first place. " Zane smiled lightly " I see where you get at"

Yuki placed a hand over her mouth, "Really? Enlighten me, please." she asked with curiosity. She stared at him with her arms folded and one white eyebrow raised, wondering if he tea did figure her out or he was only bluffing.
