CONCEPT: So this is just a generic outline., but the idea is a roleplay between the characters Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow (Scarlett Johansen). This plot date is between the Avengers Movie and Thor 2 where Loki has escaped and returned to Earth. What happens there is unknown, though it is believed feelings will have changed, alliances switched, and lives altered.

Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow
Natasha watched as Thor escorted his adoptive brother Loki back to their planet curious about what would happen once the men were back on their world their planet? She figured the penalty system of the 'gods' was going to be different from Earth or similar as she had no idea how things were done. Certainly she had never seen anyone gagged and humiliated in the way Loki had been, of course he had tried to conquer the planet with another alien race to become a king or dared she say it? A god? Yes it was clear that the two Asgardians had different abilities from humans, even the super humans that were created scientifically.
As she returned to the base she continued to think on this and how Earth as a whole would respond should such things happen again. She was a spy, had no real ability, yet she was a valued member of the Avengers, so was Hawkeye, though he seemed to have better aim with his arrows then anyone else. She had some skills that were useful thanks to her rather colorful past, but she wasn't proud of that. With a sigh she soon went to the training room set up and decided to do a bit of an agility course, with firepower naturally.
Loki felt the familiar jolt of being magically transported from one world to another. The Teseract had the same feel to it as the bifrost when used in this way. His methods of traveling to other realms were much smoother and easier to use. Still, the worst part wasn't the trip back, it was the arrival.
Home, sweet home, back in Asgard where everyone here was forming a line to kill him if given the chance. Thor roughly grabbed Loki and started walking him to the kingdom where Odin was no doubt sitting on his throne waiting to execute his adopted son for his treachery. Loki had other plans though. He walked alongside his brother without so much as a word (not that he could talk through the metal gag they had placed over his mouth anyways), pretending to be compliant until his chance came. And then it did.
All it took was the distraction of a guard asking Thor to state his business (a stupid question because everyone knew exactly what he was there for) and Loki disappeared, turning himself temporarily invisible with his sorcery. A sharp jab with his elbow into Thor's side had the oaf confused enough to let go of Loki and then he was gone. Sometimes it was too easy with Thor. It was almost boring. After sneaking his way back the way they had come, Loki diverted off the path and made his way to a familiar, secret gate, invisible to the naked eye but not to him. He knew exactly where it led. Midgard, or Earth as the mortals called it. He slipped through easily, finding himself in an abandoned part of the partially destroyed city he had just left.

Natasha went through her training session feeling much more relaxed now that she had gotten the tension out of her system. She no longer thought of the two gods that had left her home and left New York in shambles. It would take months maybe more to actually repair everything and more money then they really had available.
Natasha put her weapons away and grabbed a towel to dry off as she made her way to the locker room to clean up. While it seemed normal for men to be alright with sweat and signs of physical activities, she wasn't and intended to clean up right away. As she finished her shower she dressed in civilian clothing and left shield headquarters wanting to see just how the city was going to go about repairing itself. Sure it might take a bit of time for the city to begin to organize itself, but she had the belief that Shield and probably Stark would help with some of the damages.
Black Widow was currently walking down the street a bit surprised at how few people there were though it was late at night and so soon after an attack. While she could understand the fear of the common people, she thought that to show their strength as a race they shouldn't be cowering in fear behind closed doors that clearly couldn't protect them properly.
It seemed that those that were still out on the streets avoided her, well, she was easily recognizable at the moment. They didn't forget those that fought to save their lives from an alien invasion. Someone appeared to be trying to sneak up behind her and she turned at the sound of their footsteps. "Nice try, but you have to do better then that to sneak up on me."
Natasha continued to walk through the city wanting a quiet spot alone. She didn't wish to return to shield at the moment and didn't want to be near other people. It made sense to go to the abandoned part of town and have time to think. If she was needed she could be reached on her phone, but she didn't think they would need her so soon.
Now that he was here, first thing's first, he had to get out of the cuffs he wore on his hands and get this ridiculous gag off his face. Unfortunately for him, if he wanted that, he would need either Thor, or someone from S.H.I.E.L.D. to remove them. The Avengers used their technology to lock it and unfortunately, Loki didn't know much about their technology. If he could find any other way around it though, he would. The last thing he needed was one of the Avenger's to find him here. They would likely attempt to kill him. If he had to go to one of them, though....
Ironman would surely give no sympathies. Perhaps the soldier, Captain America, would be willing to reason with him... He wouldn't kill him, but he would surely turn him in to S.H.I.E.L.D. and then he would be right back where he started.... Hawkeye... of course not, at least not after Loki had taken over his head once. Agent Barton would definitely be vengeful about that. Loki was in no rush to meet the green monster again either.... that left....
Perhaps Agent Romanoff would be willing to help him, with some persuasion. After all, out of all of them, he could relate to her most. Lies and secrets, both of them were built from deceit. Yes, if he had a chance at all of getting free, she would be his ticket. Unfortunately that was still a difficult task. He supposed the first step would be to find her. Then he could come up with a bargaining strategy.

Natasha had managed to make it to the abandoned part of town and was going to "relax" a bit when she saw a bright light and went to investigate. The only time she had seen that was when Loki, or Thor arrived. So either Thor returned or....
She moved closer and saw the man. Loki had managed to get back to earth which meant he had outsmarted Thor again. Not surprising actually, the man didn't seem to know very much. Keeping to the shadows she moved closer studying just what he was doing before she made a move.
"Loki.... Outsmart Thor again?" She asked without much feeling an eyebrow raised as she looked at him. "Not the best plan to come back here, though it is probably the last place anyone else would look for you."
Loki spun around to face the fiery red head and gave a sheepish smile that was difficult to see through the mask he was wearing. Internally he was cursing himself for allowing her to sneak up on him like that. Damn woman was the only person he had ever met that could do so with such ease. He raised his hands in surrender even though they were still bound together. The last thing he wanted was to start a fight, that would get him nowhere. He hated to say it but the best thing for him to do right now was play along in submission to her until he could convince her to unbind him.
Kneeling on the ground with his hands still raised, he used his magic to speak in her head. Something the mortals might call telepathy, they were foolish if they thought the gag would prevent him from communicating, all it really did was look silly and embarrass him."Look, I'm not here to start another fight, I've had my a** handed to me by you and your avengers already and I'm not eager to try again. But they are going to execute me if I return to Asgard and you can't blame me for not wanting to die. Just help me stay alive, that's all I ask, I'm not looking to cause you mortals any more trouble." He held his wrists out to her as if to ask her to remove them. After pausing for a moment, he went ahead and added a "Please?" as an after thought. He knew she didn't have any reason to trust him but he was certainly going to try and find a way to win that trust from her.

At first she didn't know what was going on. He had the mask that was to prevent him from speaking yet here he was talking with her. That was when she realized he was thinking the words to her. "Seems that mask is rather useless." She stated before moving closer to him cautiously at first. No point in keeping it on if he could still speak without it. It was easy for her to remove the mask, but she kept the chains on his wrists.
"I never thought I would see the great Loki beg." Granted everyone fought for survival, it seemed he was no different. She could understand that completely. "Don't think that this has gained you anything. I don't trust you, but I do understand the need for survival." If she could be turned to shield, it was possible Loki could be changed as well. After all, he wanted a place to belong didn't he? It was something she wanted at one point as well.
Loki allowed her to remove the mask from his face and gave a sigh of relief. "Ugh, thank you." He said, noticing her cautious movements and the fact that she wasn't moving to remove the chains around his wrists. Still, it was a start.
"Now let's not get too used to that." Loki said, standing up straight again, slowly as not to alarm her. "Besides, I wouldn't say I was begging, merely asking nicely. I have to admit though, I was hoping you at least would understand. After all, you and I are similar in some ways."He knew Natasha would know exactly what he was talking about. She didn't exactly have a perfect record either. They had both done some not-so-heroic things but at least she had managed to clean her slate to an extent. At least enough that she could find a place to belong. Loki was still an outcast in his own home as well as here. Now more than ever. "Look, I'm going to be straight forward with you, something I'm sure you can appreciate. I obviously need to lie low for a while and you are the only one that can help me do that right now. I promise I won't cause you any trouble, just... Keep me off of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s radar for a while, couldn't you? And of course don't alert Asgard to my presence here. We could work out a deal, right?"Loki hated playing this game but what choice did he have? He had definitely gotten himself into a sticky situation this time.

Natasha looked at the fallen god for a moment before nodding. "Don't thank me yet Loki. I still haven't decided what to do with you yet." She said after a moment watching him stand. She could get into a lot of trouble for helping him and she was pretty sure he was aware of it.
"Get used to you asking for help? Certainly not." She didn't changer her facial expression as he hinted at her past. It was no secret she had done some pretty bad things when she was an assassin, but in order to survive, she joined shield. As Loki spoke again she scanned the area around them thinking. "There really is no way to get you out of here without notice. Your going to need that mask on again for a bit." She said deciding to help him though why she didn't know. The only place she could think of was back at her place. She didn't like it, but it would allow her to keep an eye on him and at the same time keep him out of Shield's radar.
Picking up the mask again she handed it to him. "It will only be temporary, until I get you back where I can keep an eye on you." She wasn't going to tell him where she was taking him. He would have to wait until they got there.
Loki had to hold back a smile as she told him she was still figuring out what to do with him. Oh, he was sure she was, though he wasn't sure just how strong the illusion of control was for her. Still, at this particular moment she did have more than him. He would have to change that soon.
As Natasha looked around the area with focused eyes, Loki watched her intently. She was difficult to read, but he could still imagine what might be going on in her head. His guess wasn't too far off when she spoke her thoughts. An almost childish groan escaped Loki's lips as she handed him the mask and told him to put it back on. "I thought we had already decided this was useless."Despite his complaints, he still put it back on. He could understand Natasha's reasoning, it was more for appearances than anything. She must be planning to make it look like she had caught him and was escorting him as a prisoner. He had already had more than enough of that today, but again, if he wanted to survive he would have to be compliant for now.
With his mouth once again forced shut, he gave her a curt nod, signaling for her to lead. He couldn't for the life of him understand why she was helping him, but if he was to gain her trust he would have to in turn trust her. Or at least pretend to.

Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow
Natasha was well aware of how tricky Loki could be. She might know him personally, but as a spy and assassin she knew the art of deception and he was the master of it. So whatever control she had she was sure wasn't really "control" in the usual sense.
"It is useless, but if you want to get out of here alive, you have to put it back on." She said as he placed the mask back on his face. Once he had it on she pulled out a gun and grabbed an arm pulling him along with her. She was sure to make it appear like he was difficult to bring back with her.
It took longer for her to make it home but when she did she let out a small sigh and unlocked the door. "You can remove that mask now." She said turning on the lights of her rather nice apartment. It wasn't like Starks, but she did have an image to uphold if she was doing any kind of business.
Looking at him she debated about the chains on his wrists before she undid those as well. "Don't make me regret removing these."

Once he was properly humiliated again, Natasha grabbed hold of Loki rather roughly, not unlike Thor had earlier, and started pulling him along. He was sure to join in the act and ignored the few gawking people they passed. Not entirely sure where the "black widow" was taking him, Loki was sure to remember the path they took as they went.
Eventually they arrived at what must be their destination because he could see Natasha drop the act as she sighed and opened the door to her apartment. Loki looked around, amused that she had actually brought him to her own home, inviting the enemy in through the front door. Her living space was very.... polished. The architecture was alien to him, but he could still tell that it was very luxurious and expensive. Everything was so shiny, it reminded him a bit of the Ironman's home, for the short amount of time he got to spend there before getting thrown around like a rag doll by the Hulk.
Loki was so wrapped up in examining her apartment that he almost didn't take note as she removed not only the mask, but his wrist chains as well. With surprise he looked down at his now free hands and then back up at her with a smile that was perhaps a little too enthusiastic for his own good. "Don't make me regret removing these." Natasha said with a very serious tone. "Oh, I wouldn't think of it. After all, you've been so generous to me, inviting me into your own home and finally getting me out of those uncomfortable binds. How could I show you anything but gratitude now? Of course, there's still that little incident where you made a fool of me in the helecarier, but I suppose I can overlook that for now." He teased at her, striding over to her sofa and sitting down, making himself look far more comfortable than he should be here.

Natasha looked at Loki knowing he didn't like the treatment, but there really was nothing that she could do about it. She had to make it appear realistic if she would be left alone.
Yes it was a risk to bring him to her home, but she had a feeling he wasn't going to attack her just then. "It is the best place to keep you without anyone looking for you." She said in response to the way he seemed to glance around her home.
As he sat down she looked at him for a moment. He seemed to be rather comfortable for not really knowing where he was going to end up. "So much for forgetting the past." She stated sitting opposite of him. Of course she was more comfortable here because she was aware of every weapon she had there and exactly which routes she could use to defend herself or use as an offense.
((Feel like a timeskip? Or see how they end up interacting?))
Loki looked around at her home a bit more, nodding to her as Natasha told him her apartment was the best place to keep him out of sight. He noticed how impersonal her decor was. Even her home was a closed book, just like the woman herself. Perhaps it would be entertaining to try and crack that book open a little wider than he already had though.
At her remark about forgetting the past he just chuckled and folded his fingers together, resting his chin on them while his eyes followed her movements. She sat down right across from him."I suppose I'll be sleeping here then? Hmm.... Do you really trust me enough to sleep in the same house with me?" He asked with a playful smile. There was no doubt in his mind that she would keep a watchful eye on him all night. She would be lucky to get a wink of sleep tonight, having him there would keep her weary.
