Mostly the Words required to learn them (if the technique mentions a number of posts, multiply that number by 100 to get the number of words) will stay the same and the general effect of the ability will remain the same as well. Name: Chiyudo #1: Shining Light – 500 words
Type: Chiyudo
Element: Light
Range: Close Range
Division: N/A
Description: A low strength healing spell that can only heal wounds up to an inch deep and four inches in length; longer wounds can be healed but the depth healed decreases, for instance a half inch wound that is eight inches long could be healed. This skill is a beginners healing technique and doesn’t absorb much spiritual energy to use; the amount is so small it can go un-noticed.

Name: Chiyudo #2: Shining Aura – 600 words
Type: Chiyudo
Element: Light
Range: Area of Affect
Division: N/A
Description: A low strength healing spell that has a range to it, this spell is similar to Shining Light but it extends out from the user in a 20 foot radius. Unlike Shining Light though to use this skill the user has to use 10 Spi and then remain still while the skill is being cast. But once it is cast it will heal all minor injuries within its range that could be healed by Shining Light, more major injuries won’t be affected by this skill. The skill keeps generating the healing feed for no additional cost until the user moves.
Incantation: Light of the heavens let your power envelop those around me so that they may rejoice in your shining light. Chiyudo #2 Shining Aura!


Name: Chiyudo #3: Healing Waters – 800 words
Type: Chiyudo
Element: Water
Range: Short Range
Division: N/A
Description: Uses liquid, usually water, to heal wounds. By covering the wound with water, or immersing the target in water they’re able to heal small and medium wounds by charging the water with spiritual energy. The largest wounds possible to heal can be up to four inches deep and eight inches long, for every inch deeper the length decreases an inch, the inverse is also true. This technique costs 4 Spi to use.
Incantation: Like the small rivers that feed the great ocean may my power flow into those who need aid more than I. Chiyudo #3 Healing Waters!


Name: Chiyudo #4: Hand of the Heavens – 800 words
Type: Chiyudo
Element: Non-Ele
Range: Close Range
Division: 4th Division
Description: The user’s dominant hand begins to glow and by passing it over a wound they can heal it. Minor wounds are healed instantly for an insignificant energy cost, medium wounds cost 2 Spi to heal and major wounds cost 5 Spi to heal. Even broken bones and internal damage can be healed instantly but the cost is 10 spiritual energy. Fatal wounds, part of the heart or brain destroyed, cannot be healed.
Incantation: The lords and ladies of the heavens grant me your strength and guidance so that I may pierce the darkness that surrounds this life. Chiyudo #4: Hand of the Heavens!


Name: Chiyudo #5: Benevolence – 900 words

Division: 4th Division
Description: A healing spell that protects the user from harm by rejecting damage on the body, it needs at least 10 Spi to function once activated it begins absorbing half of the user’s Spi per Gaian Post. For instance if the caster has 50 Spi, their next post they will have 25 and still be able to reject damage, the 3rd post they will have 12 and still be able to reject damage but on the third post they are left with 6 and they are unable to reject damage. This skill can only be used on one person at a time.
Incantation: The light of the heavens shine down upon me and those of my flock. By the Benevolence of God I bind thee in a protective embrace. Chiyudo #5 Benevolence!


Name: Chiyudo #8: Seijou (Purity) - 800 words
Type: Chiyudo
Element: Non-elemental
Range: Close-Range
Division: 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 12th
Description: A simple chiyudo that can be used to neutralize certain negative effects on the target. It was developed not only as a necessity, but also to help the Divisions that are prone to danger from more than simple cuts and bruises. This chiyudo heals poison, paralysis, and other medical conditions (in other words, it does not affect bakudou because there is nothing wrong with one's body) but has no affect on wounds. Every effect that is negated costs 2 Spi to do away with and that negative affect can not be applied to the cured person again for five posts.
Incantation: "Light shine strong, our woe be gone! Chiyudo #8: Seijou!"


Name: Chiyudo #11: Tsuitaiken - 800 words
Type: Chiyudo
Element: Non-elemental
Range: Single target
Division: 4th
Description: This chiyudo is meant to help bolster the user's stamina, as typical battle strategy will target a good healer first. When this kidou is cast on an ally, the user will receive +5 Sta for every hit, physical or not, the target lands on an opponent. This kidou may only be cast on one person at a time and each hit that the targeted person receives drains two Spi from the user who cast this Chiyudo.
Incantation: "Bound through battle may the torrent of offenses against thee be turned into the gentles breeze. Chiyudo #11 Tsuitaiken!"

Name: Chiyudo #30: Houren Restoration- 800 words
Type: Chiyudo
Element: Non-Elemental
Range: Self
Division: Gate Keepers
Description: This Chiyudo can only be used after successfully fending off an intruder at the Gate; and then only if there is another opponent immediately waiting to challenge for entry. This skill allows the Gate Keeper to immediately bypass the Houren Pills' exhaustion period and fully heals the caster so that they may fight their next opponent. As this is an extreme tax on their endurance; a Gate Keeper who uses this technique cannot take the 3rd Houren Pill after casting this spell until they properly rest for 5 Gaian Posts out of combat; thus forcing them to use only their first two pills.
Incantation: "Guardians of the North, my task is not yet complete. Guardians of the South; breathe warmth and life again into my body. Guardians of the East, bring forth your soothing waters. Guardians of the West; allow me to stand and fight again! Chiyudo #30: Houren Restoration!"

Division: 4th and 5th
Description: An extremely accurate reconnaissance skill, the Eye of the Sparrow lets a Shinigami scout out or locate enemies from miles away. The Eye of the Sparrow allows the user to materialize their sense of sight in the form of a ghostly sparrow. This small spirit sparrow works as the Shinigami's eyes for maximum of 5 Gaian Posts or until the bird is either destroyed or called back into the Shinigami's body. While the sparrow is materialized the Shinigami's normal eyes are left blind and if the sparrow is ever destroyed by an opponent’s attack it takes one full Gaian Post for the Shinigami's eyesight to come back; as opposed to coming back instantly if a Shinigami calls it back. While using this skill it is possible to locate and lock onto targets from long distances and strike them with long distance kidou without having them in the direct line of fire. The bird's speed is determined by the Shinigami's Spirit +20.

Description: After years of experimenting on bodies; the 12th Division has devised a Kido to partially corrode a victim's muscles! This kido costs 5 Spi to use and reduces the Strength of an opponent with less Spi than the Caster by -10 for 3 Gaian Posts. This spell may only be cast once every 5 Gaian Posts.
Incantation: "Ahi Whakamatiti; wither thy foe's muscles and drain their strength. Bougyoudo #26: Jellen!"

Type: Bougyoudo

Division: 8th Division
Description: As if to counter the 12th Division's Kido, Jellen; the Experimental Tactics Division immediately whipped this Kido together to propose their own tactics to weaken an opponent. Zalure creates the illusion of a false sense of security; luring an opponent into lowering their defense. Costs 5 Spi. An opponent with less Spi than the caster will become enticed by the illusion and have their Defense reduced by -10 for 3 Gaian Posts. This spell may only be cast once every 5 Gaian Posts.
Incantation: "Spirit of deception, lure thy opponent and weaken their guard. Bougyoudo #46: Zalure!"


Name: Bougyoudo #52: Hayameru [To Hasten] - 1000 words

Division: 2nd, 3rd, & 5th Divisions
Description: The 2nd Division, well known for stealth and special ops; and the 3rd Division; known as the fastest-acting members have coordinated their skills to create this Bougyoudo. The 5th Division, having a natural mastery of kido can learn this skill as well. Hayameru increases the user's and up to 2 Allies' Speed by +5 for 3 Gaian Posts. After this effect wears off; the user cannot cast this spell again for 3 Gaian Posts. Costs 5 Spi per use.
Incantation: "God of the gales; grant upon us the speed of your kin. Let us join among the dance of the winds, Bougyoudo #52: Hayameru!"


Name: Bougyoudo #54: Double Incantation - 800 words

Range: Self-Only (Passive)
Division: None, but 4th and 5th Division members only require 30 Spi to learn it. All others must have 40 Spi.
Description: The user alternates the lines of two kidou spells to be able to cast them in quick succession without losing power.
In other words, first they say the "oh ruler..." line, then the (rest of) incantation to the first, then the second, then the names of both.
arrow Example (because I think I made it confusing): Oh ruler, the mask of flesh and blood, all creations of the universe, fluttering of the wings, ye who bears the name of man! Carraige of thunder, gap of a spinning wheel, together with light, divided into six. On the wall of blue flame, etch a twin lotus. In the abyss of great fire, a scorching sun awaits. Bakudou Number 61: Rikujou Kourou! Hadou Number 66: Souren Soukatsui!


Name: Bougyoudo #58: Shinyuu - 1000 words

Description: Summons a small spirit of one of the four listed elements to protect the target. These spirits will reduce the power of one attack of their own element by -10. Only 2 may be out at once, and they will disappear after 5 gaia posts. The same spirit may only be summoned once per target every battle, and only one spirit can protect a person at a time.

Name: Bougyoudo #66: Spirit Materialization - 800 words
Type: Bougyoudo

Range: Zanpaku-Tou
Division: 6th Division
Description: The casting of this kidou is usually very time-consuming, considering the amount of time it takes to build up the necessary spiritual energy. In casting, this kidou allows the spirit of one's Zanpaku-Tou to physically manifest and fight alongside the user with identical techniques. This technique is limited to those shinigami within the 6th division, usually, due to their immense bond with their Zanpaku-Tou- yet another requirement for the kidou's successful casting. The kidou requires 1 Gaia post to charge up the necessary reiatsu, and even then takes up 1/2 of the user's total Spirit and lasts for one gaia post every 25 points in Spirit the user has left.
Incantation: O Lord, Come Hither, and Reveal Thyself in Glorious Form! Passion and Pride Merge to Form a Single Being, it's Name Scribed Upon the Tower of Godly Light! Bougyoudo #66: Spirit Materialization!


Name: Bougyoudo #70: Shifta - 8 Posts (800 words)
Type: Bougyoudo

Division: 7th Division Captain
Description: The 7th Division's special Kido. To use; the user must have their Zanpakuto sheathed and it must remain sheathed; else this Kido's effect will immediately negate. A 7th Division member using this spell shifts their body's structure to become a lethal weapon without the need to use a Zanpakuto; fighting unarmed. At the cost of 15 SP per Gaian post; increase Speed, Strength, and Defense by 50% of their Base Amount.
Incantation: "Gods, grant me the strength to battle without my blade. Transform my body into your weapon; allow my fists to become my sword. Bougyoudo #70: Shifta!"


Name: Bougyoudo #73: Raging Elements - 10 Posts (1000 words)

Division: 9th (Anyone with Shikai)
Description: Upon attaining the Shikai state and discovering one's element, the user of this technique may boost the power of any elemental Hadou spells which matches that of their Zanpakuto's. Raging Elements will double the power of the aforementioned Hadou, but at 1.5x the cost, if any. To gain this boost, the user must first state the incantation to Raging Elements, proceeding to the incantation of the Hadou being used.
Incantation: Mother Earth and Father Time, hear my plight, and grant me strength! Bougyoudo #73: Raging Elements!
Other: Because it is based around your element you must have your Shikai unlocked to learn.


Name: Bougyoudo #90: Divine Intervention – 12 Posts (1200 words)
Type: Bougyoudo
Element: Light
Range: Self
Division: 13th
Description: For a number of posts equal to their Sp/10 the user is able to add their Spiritual Power to another stat of their choice, or simply double their Spiritual Power. Once activated this cannot be stopped and upon its completion the user is completely drained of Spiritual Power. It is a last minute fall back plan to get you out of seemingly hopeless situation.
Incantation: Benevolent and holy, bringers of life and creation, grant me thy power as I pledge myself to you. Bougyoudo #90 Divine Intervention!


Name: Bougyoudo #92: Shunkō [Flash Cry] - 12 Posts (1200 words)

Division: Captain of the 2nd, 3rd, 5th, and 7th Division
Description: A specialty Kido first invented by Yoruichi Shihouin. It is an advanced technique that combines hand to hand combat and kidō and causes high spiritual pressure to accumulate at the shoulders, legs and back, greatly enhancing Speed and Strength. At the initiation cost of 10 SP; take the amount of your Max SP and divide it in half; add that number to both Speed and Strength for 3 Gaian Posts. This boost is added last and will not alter other boost Calculations. After this skill wears off; it cannot be used again for 2 Gaian Posts.

Name: Bougyoudo #100: Extended Reach – 10 Posts (1000 words)
Type: Bougyoudo
Element: Non-Ele
Range: Self Only – Passive
Division: 5th Division or Captain; must be taught by 5th Division Captain.
Description: This skill is known only to the 5th Division's Captain and those she sees fit to pass it onto. This skill is a passive one that can double the reach of any kidou currently known by the user at the cost of 1.5x the spiritual energy cost of the ability. The Captain of the 5th Division uses this ability to extend the reach of her kidou and defeat her enemies without having to get close to them.

Name: Bougyoudo #101: Incantation Bypass – 8 Posts (800 words)
Type: Bougyoudo
Element: Non-Ele
Range: Self Only – Passive Skill
Division: 5th Division or Captain rank and equivalent.
Description: A special Kidou created by the first Captain of the 5th Division after this kidou is learned it becomes a passive bonus to the people who know it. Users no longer have to say the incantation to cast a kidou; they only say the type, name and number. The downfall to this is that the power is 3/4 as powerful as it is without the skill. When a user learns this kidou they can say the incantation and use a kidou’s full power but the inventor of this ability figure, who would when they could cast the slightly weakened skill three times in the time it takes to say the incantation.

Name: Bakudou #-1: Threads of Fate - 12 Posts (1200 words)
Type: Bakudoua

Description: The user dashes around the field at intense speeds using reitsu to push themselves forward. (Works better with flash step) The heels of the user will have threads of reishi stretching out of them. After the threads have circled the opponent enough to the user's liking he may then pull the thread off his heel and then yank it back causing the threads to close in and bind the enemy. If the user pulls more it can have the same effect as a metal wire piercing through the skin if the user says the incantation. Due to the range of this powerful spell of binding 1/4 of the users total spiritual energy is used to bind the person. However the technique can be broken by a good amount of concentrated reiatsu, the same amount of reiatsu as the user who activated the spell. This technique does not necessarily have to be said. It only has to be said when the user pulls the threads to bind. The threads cannot do more than cause the body to make blood but may not cause fatal damage.

Name: Bakudou #1: Obstruction – 5 Posts (500 words)

Description: A binding magic that binds the opponent’s hands behind their back. If their Strength, Defense, or SP is higher than the user’s SP the technique fails. If the technique succeeds the target is bound for their next post; but their legs are still free so movement is possible.

Name: Bakudou #4: Hainawa (Crawling Rope) - 5 Posts (500 words)
Type: Bakudou
Element: N/A
Range: 20 Feet
Division: N/A
Description: An advanced variation of Bakudou #1; Bakudou #4 creates an energy rope that entangles a targets arms. As with Bakudou #1, the target is still free to move their legs; but the target can only break through the rope if their SP is *1.25 then the user's SP. If it isn't; the energy rope binds their arms for one Gaian Post.
Incantation: "Strike, serpent of light. Ensnare and bind thy foe. Bakudou #4: Hainawa!"


Name: Bakudou #9: Conquer – 5 Posts (500 words)
Type: Bakudou
Element: Non-Ele
Range: Close Range – Single Target
Division: N/A
Description: The target is surrounded in a bright red light that restricts the target’s ability to move. It doesn’t stop their movement completely but it make it harder for them to move around. Can be broken if the target has a higher spiritual pressure than the user. But if the user’s Sp is 2x the target’s Sp then the target’s speed is cut in half.
Incantation: Disintegrate, black dog of Rondaniini. Look upon your burning soul and sever your throat! Bakudou #9 Conquer!


Name: Bakudou #35: Personal Space – 12 Posts (1200 words)
Type: Bakudou
Element: Non-Ele
Range: Close Range
Division: N/A
Description: This art is passive in nature and can not become active unless certain conditions are met. The user must be placed in an immediate life threatening situation created by someone or something that can not be sensed through other means (i.e. – Sight, Sound, Smell, or Taste). Once this condition is met, then Bakudou can become active at the cost of 10 SP per use. The user will be given the chance to perform only one defensive type movement to defend against the attack. (The 10 Sp doesn't affect any costs of the defense technique in any way if there is one.)

Name: Bakudou #55 : Frost Bite - 6 Posts (600 words)
Type: Bakudou
Element: Ice
Range: Area effect
Division: N/A
Description: The spiritual power of the user is released in a envelopment over the field causing extreme dips in temperature and thus slowing down the movements of their opponent. It cost 5 SP to activate and last for user's SP/ 20 Gaian Posts. The speed decrease depends on the comparison of the user to opponent SP. If they are far under (2x at least) the opponents SP then the opponent will only be slowed up to 10% at most, if they are slowed at all. If they are close the opponent's speed is cut by 20-25% if their SP is lower speed can be cut by up to 30-40% and if the caster is 2x the target the target’s speed is cut in half.
Incantation: Lords of Snow and Ice descend upon those in my way and bind their movements in your frozen hold. Bakudou #55 Frost Bite!


Name: Bakudou #57: Hyoukai – 8 Posts (800 words)
Type: Bakudou
Element: Ice
Range: 30 feet
Division: N/A
Description: Water envelops the target and then freezes them in ice from the head down, making them unable to move for their next post. Additionally, they may not use any movement techniques (flash step, flying screen step, etc) for their next four posts after breaking from the ice. This bakudou can be broken and will have no side effects if the target's strength is greater than the user's SP. The technique costs ten Sp to initiate. And this technique can only be used on the same target once every five posts.
Incantation: "Ice the bind, a heart frozen in time, surround my target and bend him to my unrelenting will! Bakudou #57 Hyoukai!


Name: Bakudou #58: Summoning of the Tracking Sparrows - 5 Posts (500 words)
Type: Bakudou
Element: N/A
Range: Anywhere in the same dimension, can track multiple targets
Division: N/A
Description: The user draws a circle in the ground, then divides it into four quarters. Each quater has a symbol in it, and the incantation activates the circle. It can then be used to find anyone in the same division by honing in on their reiatsu. Various numbers appear in the circle acting as type of coordinate system to pinpoint the exact location of the target.
Incantation: Heart of the south, eye of the north, finger of the west, foot of the east, arrive with the wind and depart with the rain. Bakudou #58: Summoning of the Tracking Sparrows!

Name: Bakudo #62: Hyappo Rankan (100 Stepped Binding Rails) - 8 posts (800 words)

Description: Fold in ring and pinky fingers, forefingers up together. Thumbs out and touching. Face both hands together and then turn palm side out with your hands in the same position. You end up making a triangle with your fingers, thumbs turn up and pull outwards in a straight lateral line as if you are sliding your fingers along a pole. A white energy staff will form and stretch with your gesture. Throw it like a javelin at your target and it will split into many staffs in an attempt to pin the target to the ground or some nearby object. This is a spiritual binder and does not harm the body. This binder has the potential of binding multiple people at a time. It has a range of 30 feet in a straight line and no wider than about five feet. It literally skewered the target. This does not leave any wounds on the target, but it does cause pain as one might expect. It works at x1.50 sp and lasts for 3 Gaia Posts and has a cool down of the same time. It costs 10 sp.

The spell can be broken if the target’s Strength is at least 10 more than the user’s spiritual power. This kidou lasts for the targets next post if it succeeds. It is known as one of the few bakudou that cant be canceled out by SP or Defense unless it is by a technique specially designed to negate binding techniques. No bakudou can be used for the next two gaian posts.

Description: By gather the static electricity in the air, the user is able to charge and compress that energy during a short amount of time. After having gathered enough energy, they can rapidly expel the energy outwards in all directions, creating a large shock wave of energy. Gathering the energy is very hard and requires concentration. The user must concentrate, without moving, for 25 lines before releasing the schock wave. Anyone hit by this shock wave is paralyzed for their next 2 Gaia posts. Because of the strain, the user is unable to move for their next Gaia post. If the target has an SP more than 2x the user's SP, they are not affected. For those with an affinity to Lightning only need to have an SP higher than the user's SP. Costs 10 SP to use. Can only be used once every 5 Gaia posts.
Incantation: Dark storm clouds covering light, blast of pure energy sparking forth, by the violent thunder neutralize those nearby. Bakudou #79: Shockwave!


Name: Bakudou #81 : Danku (Splitting Void) - 12 Posts (1200 words)

Range: 15 Foot * 15 foot Square around the user. The barrier radius cannot be moved once cast.
Division: Captain; or a Captain-Level Shinigami/Vizard ((400 Reiatsu; must be given instruction from a Captain))
Description: One of the strongest shielding Kido. Splitting Void creates a cleric-like barrier to block and absorb spirit attacks. Costs 5 SP per Gaian Post to hold. Unlike a cleric's shield, this barrier cannot be expanded beyond its base range. Physical attacks will pass through the barrier; if the user steps out of the shield's radius; the barrier will lower against his/her will and must be re-cast. While the barrier is being held up; the user cannot attack nor use any other Kido. ((In short; the user can parry attacks if an opponent attacks them; but cannot attack while the barrier is held; and cannot use any other Kido spells while this barrier is being supported.))
When lowered, the user cannot cast this Bakudou again for 2 Gaian Posts.
Learning Incantation Bypass will not lessen this spell's strength; instead requiring double the cost on the first Gaian Post.

If the target has SP at least 2x higher than the user’s the fire only lasts one post. Each burn drains ten Sp from the technique’s user, and 10 Stamina from the target. If the user runs doesn’t have enough Sp the technique is canceled.

Description: After the incantation, the user then slams their palms into the ground, combining spirit power of the fire element into the ground to create even more friction, melting the ground through the area with a building volcanic fire, controlling the spirit power through the ground towards their opponent they can create a massive wall [10 feet in length. 6 feet in height] of fire hurl towards their opponent, erupting from the wall like a tidal wave for ¼ of the user’s Sp. Hot enough from the searing flames to eat into the clothing and flesh. Input half of your spirit power to make two of them erupt form the ground, one from the front of the opponent and one from behind them. Input 3/4 of your spirit power and increase both of the tidal waves' sizes half [15 feet in length and 9 feet in height]. The heat of the fire depends on how high your spirit energy is compared to your opponent's. If you SP is lower, the same SP ranging from five above or five below, or higher than your opponent's then it goes as follows:

Lower SP= Minor burns, such as burning through clothes or giving weak bruise like burns to the skin.
Same SP [5 higher or 5 lower]= Normal flesh burns, burning through the clothing and skin, nothing too deep, but can give them second or third degree burns.
Higher SP= Severe burns and wounds, burns through the skin and can cause one to go to the hospital afterwards, above third degree and can almost melt the flesh off.


Special Note: This technique is a life or death only technique and cant be used until the user’s Stamina is at least below half of it’s total.

Description: This kidou is well known because of its ability to attack from extreme distances. The user points with their dominant hand’s index finger toward their target, anywhere within their range of sight. The attack is said to feel like running into a brick wall as fast as you can. If the user’s SP is 2x or more than the target they are knocked down and are both unable to move or attack on their next post. If the user and the targets Sp are similar (within 10 of each other) the target will be unable to attack but can still move. If the target’s SP is at least 2x higher than the user’s then they can ignore the attack.
Incantation: Great Boreas blow, so that all within your sight may tremble and fall prey to your might. Hadou #37 Northern Wind!

If victim's SP or Defense is more than the user’s Sp then the technique is ineffective.
Incantation: "Banshee shriek and howl. Tear through the air with your ghostly presence! Hadou #83 Screech!"

Description: As one of the more powerful ranks of hadou, Hiyousei does require a good amount of control to utilize as a powerful offensive kidou. The basic casting of this kidou creates twin spheres of light that encircle the user, and from there can activate multiple effects. If left unspecified, the spheres will simply defend the user, and retaliate by making contact when an enemy is in close range. Otherwise, they can either be used to fire off at an opponent at long distances, creating a lance of sorts, expand into a barrier of sorts around the user which expand to engulf enemies in light damage in a mid-range area, or be fired off at a shorter distance with a devastating explosive effect upon the enemy. The barriers are each the strength of 1/2 the user's total SP + total Defense. An attack stronger than that will break through. Their attack power the users SP + Strength. Both orbs disappear after five posts and can not be used again for five more posts.

The incantation is chanted while gathering strength for the attack.

Name: Hadou #97: Spiritual Cyclone - 14 Posts (1400 words)

Description: With a decently lengthed incantation, this Hadou spell takes a bit of time to unleash, therefore giving warning to those around before it comes into use. By expelling spiritual energy, the user may produce a tornado-shaped wave of power. The wind cuts into those it touches three times over when it happens to make contact, although it does not actually vacuum up its targets, rather, it knocks them back; this will not harm the user, being the only thing allowed within the center of the cyclone as a defensive ploy, no attack being capable of penetrating it unless it was designed to bypass barriers, or if the attack is more powerful than the cyclone itself. The power of this cyclone is equal to the user's strength and spiritual power combined, travelling as quickly as three-fourths the user's speed. To maintain this Hadou spell, it costs five points of spiritual power per gaian post, costing five at the start of its summoning.
Incantation: The sky which knows not of bounds, bearing freedom on thy wings, relinquish thy power to this vessel, in the grace of thine own will ! Thou will it to be so, and so it shall be granted! Hadou #97: Spiritual Cyclone!


Name: Hadou #98: Ravaging Waters - 14 Posts (1400 words)

Range: 10-foot radius horizontally around the user's midsection
Division: Any (Vice-Captain or Captain)
Description: Once the incantation is complete, four strands of water begin to extend from the user's stomach, sides, and back, covering all four planes on such an axis. After picking up, taking five seconds to fully generate, the strands of water extend out to ten feet, having width equal to one food, though slightly thinner on the top and bottom. Once in effect, the water will begin spinning rapidly around the user like a wheel, lashing at all within range. These water-based strands do not harm the user, and carry power equal to the user's speed and spiritual power combined, counting as a spiritual attack; they spin as quickly as the user's base speed stat. The cost to keep this technique up is one-tenth the user's spiritual power or one-fifth their stamina per gaia post, able to switch between methods of paying the costs. These points cannot be restored until they rest, although modifiers may be spent if the user has any to spare.
Incantation: Element which is pure at heart, suffice thy will and lend thy grace! Hadou #98: Ravaging Water!


Name: Hadou #99: Chilling Wrath - 15 Posts (1500 words)

Description: By holding one hand directly in front of their body, arm fully extended, the user concentrates energy a couple of inches away from their palm. Taking three seconds to form, a one-foot sphere of ice is formed, hovering in place until the user decides to blast it outward toward a target. Although it seems simple enough to dodge, its true effect comes from its passing. If the technique passes within five feet of a target, they will lose access to a movement technique, building up each time it takes effect; if the ball actually makes contact, it will lock away two movement abilities at once. If the target has no more movement techniques to spare and is hit with the ice, not simply passed by it, they will lose five points of speed. The ball of ice itself retains power equal to the user's spiritual power stat, traveling as fast as the user's base speed stat. Forming this will cost five points of spiritual power each time it sees use.
To clarify this technique's effect, an affected target would first lose a custom technique in Speed, proceeding to a basic technique, such as Flash Step. If neither are available; the target would lose 10% of their Speed.
These techniques do not recover for the rest of the battle, unless the target is willing to spend five points of stamina to gain access to any one of the locked abilities. If their speed was reduced, it may also be recovered fully if the target spends five stamina. Normally spells such as this are not considered Hadou, but the level of brutality of actually hitting a foe dead-on earned it a place in this classification.
Incantation: Chill and wither, hinder the foe's path! Freeze thine enemy from within! Hadou #99: Chilling Wrath!

A large amount of smoke then billows forth, covering the area in a dense smokescreen. As it is effective on the user as well, this is primarily suggested as a distraction before escape. As an incredibly low-level spell, this smoke is neither particularly hazardous nor likely to stay around for long, and even a small blast can clear it away.
Incantation: Smoke and smog, blow forth and blind my enemies. Hougudo #1: Fumificus!

Description: A more serious spell than the single-digit jokes, Dios Tukos is a heavy hit that is most popular after a series of physical strikes on the enemy, becoming a finishing blow. Usually chanted while fighting, not standing still, at the end of the incantation the user throws their arm down and shoots a large, powerful blast of lightning at their foe. Recommended for use in mid-air combat. It's power equals to 1.2x the user's SP. Costs 2 Sp per use.

It costs five Sp to use and only lasts long enough to take an energy pill or use a single healing technique, spiritual or physical attacks that are 1.5x the user's SP or greater will easily pass through the wall of wind.

Description: Sleep-inducing Fog is a Hougudo spell that does exactly what it sounds like it should. Upon completion of the chant, a fog is unleashed that has the potential to put others in the area to sleep. However, if the target(s) has either their stamina or SP above the SP of the user, they can shake off the effects. Otherwise, they will be subject to falling asleep for either their next Gaian post or the next hit on them. Can be used on a single target once every four posts, but can be used on multiple targets at once. Each target costs five Sp.

Description: Gelmorsus Adhaero, the Frostbite Cleaver is a moderately powerful ice-type spell, spoken easily and moderately powerful. Upon completion of the incantation, the user clasps their hands together and extends their index and middle fingers, to form a vaguely gun-like shape. They will then slash somehow, the direction is usually irrelevant, sending out a crescent-moon shaped blast of ice along the diagonal chosen, the size depending on how large of an arc the user made. The "outside" of the moon is the leading edge, firing at 1.5x the user's speed. Generally recommended for targets slower than you who are more likely to be hit. Each arc generated consumes 5 Sp.
Incantation: Crux of the Frost King, shoot to join and ally against hostility. Form a falcon of ice to strike thy foe. Hougudo #41:Gelmorsus Adhaero!


Name: Hougudo #45: Crystallizātiō Tellustris - 6 Posts (600 words)

Element: Earth
Range: 75 feet

Description: This spell can only be used while on or above solid ground. Ice, water, lava, etc. doesn't work. Crystallizātiō Tellustris is a neat spell that will raise seven stalagmites from the ground with no warning in a one hundred foot radius around the caster. This would not be an issue except for the fact that these stalagmites come up one at a time, directly under the target, forcing them to do some fancy footwork in order to avoid getting impaled. Most acrobatic people can handle this spell fairly well, though if used in succession, or by two people on one target, it could be quite a headache. Each casting of this kidou has a 2 Sp cost.
Incantation: The madness of earth, forge to break out itself in this cry. Seven spikes, rise from the ground! Hougudo #45: Crystallizātiō Tellustris!

Description: Atrum Vesica is an offensive Hougudo spell that summons 4 dagger-like formations of dark energy around a target. These daggers will then stab inwards toward the target at 1.25x the user's SP.

Name: Hougudo #84: Prodigiosus Renovatio - 12 Posts (1200 words)

Description: One of the most powerful healing spells, Prodigiosus Renovatio is a spell that can completely heal a target, changing the wounds to nothing and getting rid of all potions, poisons, and other effects that might be in the system. It does, however, take fifty percent of the user's maximum SP to cast, and will reduce the target's Stamina to one tenth of its current level because of the energy needed to completely recover in such a way. Most generally used when a fight is over to prevent death. The Fourth Division's top two members may learn this Hougudo in their Headquarters without the 50-higher-than-spell-level-in-SP limit and the need to be taught by someone who already knows it. It can only be used once while actually in a battle, if it's to be used again the person must get out of the battle.
Incantation: Holy Ones, hear my cry to raise and rejuvenate my friend. Blessed Ones, once more create a miracle before my eyes! Hougudo #84: Prodigiosus Renovatio!


Name: Hougudo #87: Jovis Tempestās Fulguriēns - 8 Posts (800 words)

Description: One of the more irritatingly powerful Hougudo, Jovis Tempestās Fulguriēns is a mighty spell that unleashes a torrential blast of electric and wind power at the opponent. It is most likely to blast apart even a group of targets, as its dual-elemental nature also gifts it the power to move at twice the caster's speed. The cost is five Sp and it has the power to both push back and injure enemies with less Sp than the user.
Incantation: Come, spirits of air and lightning, Oh southern storm which blows with torrents! Bolts of lightning to cut through the night, spring forth and strike my enemy! Hougudo #87: Jovis Tempestās Fulguriēns!

Flash Step is thought of as the basic movement technique. It allows the user to travel at a speed equal to 1.25x their base Speed. Flash Step can only be used once for every five points of reiatsu the user has.

White Prostration: 8 Posts (800 words)
A high level technique that causes its target to lose consciousness for one post if the user has SP 2x higher than their target; it can only be used on one target at a time and the user of the technique must remain motionless or the techniques is broken.

Mirror Gate: 7 Posts (700 words)
A high level technique that reflects attacks from the outside but is easy to break from the inside. The technique surrounds the user but this technique will not work if your SP is lower than the stat used to attack you and it can only deflect one attack or ability at a time. It can also only be cast once per Gaian post and as such cannot fend off multiple attacks used in quick succession. It costs five Sp to use.

By focusing energy into a single part of their body, the user is able to block attacks with their bare hand or arm. This explosion of energy is as strong as 1.5 the user's SP plus their defense. It costs 20 SP per use.

Description: A special high-speed attack used specifically for assassination. This technique can only be used with both Shunkō and Hayameru in effect. This technique takes 1/2 the user's Stamina and SP to use; but it possesses both Attack Speed and Attack Power equal to the user's Modified Speed. Also; should this attack hit; both the user and the opponent Roll an 8-Sided Dice. If either character rolls a 6 or a 2; the opponent struck by this technique is Knocked Unconscious for the duration of the battle. Also; if the total of the two dice = 8; the opponent struck by this technique is Silenced (Killed) by this attack.

This is an ancient art that predates Kidou and Hougudou. It is so highly restricted that only those who meet the very strict requirements can train and master them once they are only able to be learned in a secret area of the Shinigami Academy. It must NEVER be combined with Kidou or Hougudou, lest you deal yourself damage equal that of a cero blast. There are two kinds of Kojitsu, Ancient and Modern. One must never assume, however that this list of Kojitsu is complete in any way. The ancient kind, once the dominant art, was declared unsafe and out of date by time the other techniques became popular. However, the truth is more complicated. The modern variety has been developed by those who studied the art of Kodai no Kojitsu and created more accepted techniques for the shinigami intended to use them.

Description: This is a protective skill designed to reduce or even block the effects of fire based attacks, regardless of their origins. An aura forms around the user, color depending on the user. Some have been even reported to have a prismatic aura. This aura is a special fire absorbing barrier that works at x1.25 sp. It rises up at the caster's base speed.
Cost: 5 sp (+5 sp for an added person) per post
Duration: 3 GP
Cool Down: 3 GP

Name: Kojitsu #3: Bassuru (Castigate/Punish) - 8 posts (800 words)
Type: Offense
Level: Mid
Range: 50 feet
Description: This is a serious attacking skill that inflicts wounds without the user actually touching the enemy. The severity of the wounds depends on the strength of the caster's sp. It is reported as feeling something akin to being attacked by a sword. If the target is faster than you are by 10 points then he can escape unscathed.

Less than target = Minor (if any) scratches, scrapes, and bruises - hardly worth mentioning
Same as target = Mild cuts and abrasions, mostly an irritant
Slightly Higher than Target (x1.25) = Bleeding wounds, but nothing fatal
Much higher than Target (x1.5 or greater) = Deep wounds and bad bruises

Duration: 1 GP for every 20 base sp the caster has

Description: On par with some of the stronger healing kidos, it restores the user back to full health with the condition that it is cast on somebody of the same class and they are not mortally wounded. Other wise, it will just preserve their life and reduce the severity of their wounds by half. It can not be cast on the same person twice in the same battle.
Cost: 5 sp for minor injuries, 10 for moderate injuries, 15 for serious injuries, 20 for severe injuries ... add an additional 5 sp for every 10 stamina restored to the patient
Duration: 3 GP; Caster may not attack during this time or it will disrupt the flow of power, causing serious injury to both the user and patient
Chant: "Kodai no kojitsu: Shineika suru, dame ni suru, shufuku suru!" (Rough Translation: Sanctify, negate, restore!")

Name: Kojitsu #10: Tokikomeru (Detain/Confine) - 7 posts (700 words)

Description: A barrier of ribbons fly up out of the ground and tie the target or targets up, sapping them of their spiritual powers by 25%. It can be overcome if the target is x1.75 stronger in sp or strength.

Description: The ground underneath the target heats up and a ring of lava that shoots up around them and attacks them at x1.75 strength, causing severe burns.

Description: The user casts a spirit ball at the target, the ball attaches to the target and explodes on command “Bakuhatsu”, inflicting x2 sp damage.
