He didn't pay to much mind to the silence, although he was trying to think of a way to break it until she did first. "Don't worry about it. By the time we're done with the show you'll have it down. Sometimes everyone does set up at one camp but it can cause some tension, or they'll set up close to one another. Kinda depends on the contestants really. Whether or not people can get along." He shrugged in thought and looked around at the forest. It really was quite a beautiful island.

"It's a bit too quiet don't you think??" Suddenly turning around she heard what seemed like a car horn... "Did you hear that? the contestants are not suppose to be here yet right?". Veve sounded pretty unsure about this until she got distracted by a bird sitting on a branch. She quietly positioned herself and pointed her crossbow at the bird taking in a breath then as she exhaled she let go. Veve stood up and straighten her back watching the bird tumble down onto the floor with a satisfied smile; she skipped over and held the bird up by the arrow. "Got one" she said cheerfully as she smiled cheerfully.

At her comment he had stopped and listened for a moment; it really was quiet there save for the distant running waters. Normally they'd hear some sort of wild life. Than there was a car horn which got him to jump a little. "Not for another day or two at least, maybe things got pushed ahead?" He paused in thought looking around again. He was about to say something else until he saw her starting to aim at something. He went still and silent, not wanting to scare it off as she soon spotted the bird. "Good shot!" Nick smiled and was impressed at how accurate she was with that thing. "And I was also about to say that maybe they're still clearing people out. Sometimes we get tourists in the areas that didn't get the memo or want to bomb the show. Thankfully nothing is recorded live so we can easily edit those bits out."

"Thank's; well perhaps we should keep an eye out for newcomers and start whispering or maybe even stop using words like contestants". She was back to her cold sounding self thinking about that car horn. "Even if there are tourists or what not we should check out where that car honk came from... I think it came from the beach close to our camp". It seemed as if this fellow new a lot more about this show than her; perhaps they both had different training. Suddenly she heard something stir on in the bushes... a voice? She turned and had her crossbow pointed at the direction of the sound "Come out slowly".

"That's probably a good idea." He agreed since it would be hard to explain why they kept using lingo that someone running the show would use. He also did have a few years of experience than her, both playing and helping in the back round. "We should probably go check it out. If others are here maybe the others are coming to let us know." He said in more of a whisper before they both heard someone. Nicholas reached back and slipped his hatchet from his pack just encase. Finger off the trigger. There's no natives here to worry about." He whispered to Veve while spotting the other girl coming out towards them

She was trained to always be cautious of everyone even if they are crew or contestants. Lowering her crossbow down she saw that the girl really was another contestant. "Sorry about that; my name is Veve and he is Nick we are both part of this survival show" she pointed at him. "You are?"

Nick took a brief look over the new comer and realized that this was definitely one of the other contestants. Judging by the gear and everything that she was carrying with her. "Keep it cool, she's in the same boat as us I think." Nick said to Veve as he was getting into character now. "Did you sign up for the show Missing? Me and my friend here did too." he managed a smile and relaxed more as Veve lowered her crossbow and had introduced both of them, and asked the question he was about to as well. "Like she said we're part of the show as are you now."

"You probably should have read more about it. They say in the application that you'll know when you're accepted once you're on the show." Nick smirked a little since you literally didn't know you were accepted until kidnapped half the time. He rubbed the back of his head at hearing her ordeal though. "Well there's really nothing you can do about it now, unless you get outed from the show. Which wont be at least for a week."

She looked at the girl a few more times and looked around. "Well, im sorry about your garden but we can't do anything about that. So shall we keep going or shall we head back?" She looked at nick for an answer to this... "Oh how about that car honk we heard though?".

 Elohim starts to explore his surroundings. He notices tall trees, animal life, and river banks here and there. He is deep in this forest. He uses the knife in the starter kit to chop off branches to start a small fire in order to create a signal by smoke to possibly reach out for help, He makes sure not to cause a forest fire by placing stones and sand all around the small pit of fire...
